< Psalms 10 >
1 Why do thou stand afar off, O Jehovah? Why do thou hide thyself in times of trouble?
Angʼo momiyo ichungʼ gichien, yaye Jehova Nyasaye? Angʼo momiyo ipondo ne ji e ndalo mag chandruok?
2 In the pride of the wicked man the poor man is hotly pursued. Let them be taken in the devices that they have conceived.
Ngʼat ma timbene richo goyo apedha ni joma onge nyalo kendo omakogi e otegu mage mosechiko.
3 For the wicked man boasts of his heart's desire. And the greedy man renounces, yea, despises Jehovah.
Dwache maricho mopando e chunye omiyo osungore; jowuoche ema ogwedho to Jehova Nyasaye to ochayo.
4 The wicked man, in the pride of his countenance, says, He will not require it. All his thoughts are, There is no God.
Sunga omake ma ok onyal manye; onge thuolo kata matin mochiwo ne Nyasaye e chunye.
5 His ways are profane at all times. Thy judgments are far above out of his sight. As for all his adversaries, he puffs at them.
Yorene dhi maber kinde duto, okawore omiyo chikeni ni mabor moyombe; ojaro wasike duto.
6 He says in his heart, I shall not be moved. To all generations I shall not be in adversity.
Owacho ne en owuon niya, “Onge gima nyalo yienga; abiro dak gi kwe kinde duto kaonge gima thaga.”
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
Dhoge opongʼ gi miriambo kod weche mag kwongʼ; chandruok gi weche maricho ni e bwo lewe.
8 He sits in the lurking-places of the villages. In the covert places he murders the innocent man. His eyes are secretly set against the poor man.
Okiyo ji e bath yore mag gwengʼ, onego ji apoya koa kuonde moponde, osiko ongʼicho mondo wangʼe omaki joma onge ketho mondo ohiny.
9 He lurks in secret as a lion in his covert. He lies in wait to catch the poor man. He catches the poor man when he draws him in his net.
Okiyo ji kokichore ka sibuor mopondo; okichore mar mako joma ok nyal mondo ohinygi, omako joma ok nyal kendo oywayogi oko gi tonde mar meko.
10 He crouches, he bows down, and helpless men fall by his strong men.
Joma hapgi rach momako otieko kendo podho chuth, gipodho e bwo tekone.
11 He says in his heart, God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.
Owachone en owuon niya, “Nyasaye wiye osewil; opando wangʼe kendo onge gima oneno.”
12 Arise, O Jehovah, O God, lift up thy hand. Do not forget the poor.
Aa malo yaye Jehova Nyasaye! Tingʼ badi malo, yaye Nyasaye. Kik wiyi wil gi joma ok nyal.
13 Why does the wicked man despise God, and say in his heart, Thou will not require it?
Angʼo momiyo ngʼama timbene richo jaro Nyasaye? Angʼo momiyo owacho e chunye ni, “Ok obi keta piny mopenja gima asetimo?”
14 Thou have seen. For thou behold mischief and spite, to repay with thy hand. The poor man commits himself to thee. Thou have been the helper of the fatherless.
To in, yaye Nyasaye, ineno chandruok gi kuyo, ikawogi kaka mari kendo itingʼogi e lweti. Ngʼat ma ok nyal; chiwore ne in; in e jakony mar joma onge wuonegi.
15 Break thou the arm of the sinner and the evil man. His wickedness shall be sought, and shall not be found.
Tur bad ngʼama rach ma timbene richo; luonge mondo onyis ji gik maricho mosetimo lingʼ-lingʼ, ma ji ok nyal fwenyo mi ngʼe.
16 Jehovah is King forever and ever. The nations have perished out of his land.
Jehova Nyasaye en Ruoth mochwere manyaka chiengʼ; ogendini biro lal nono e pinye.
17 Jehovah, thou have heard the desire of the humble. Thou will prepare their heart, thou will cause thine ear to hear,
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, in iwinjo kwayo mar joma chandore; ijiwogi, kendo ichiko iti ni ywakgi,
18 to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may no more be terrible.
Ichwako nyithi kiye kod joma isando, mondo dhano ma ochwe gi lowo, kik dhi nyime gi bwogo ji.
