Proverbs 30
1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, the oracle. The man says to Ithiel, to Ithiel and Ucal:
১যাকিৰ পুত্ৰ আগুৰে ঈশ্বৰীয় বচন কোৱা: এই মানুহে ঈথীয়েল আৰু উকালত ঘোষণা কৰে:
2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man,
২যি কোনো মনুষ্যতকৈ নিশ্চয় মই বহুত বেছি জন্তুৰ দৰে, আৰু মনুষ্যজাতিৰ বুজা শক্তি মোৰ নাই,
3 and I have not learned wisdom, nor have I the knowledge of the Holy.
৩আৰু মই প্ৰজ্ঞা শিকা নাই, নাইবা পবিত্ৰ জনাৰ বিষয়েও জ্ঞান পোৱা নাই।
4 Who has ascended up into heaven, and descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in his garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou know?
৪কোন স্বৰ্গলৈ উঠি গৈছিল, আৰু নামি আহিছিল? কোনে নিজৰ হাতৰ মুঠিত বতাহ ধৰিছিল? কোনে জল সমূহক বান্ধি লুকুৱাই ৰাখিছিল? কোনে পৃথিবীৰ সকলো সীমা স্থাপন কৰিছিল? তেওঁৰ নাম কি? আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰৰ নাম কি? নিশ্চয় তুমি জানা!
5 Every word of God is tried. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
৫ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰতিটো বাক্য প্রমাণিত, তেওঁত আশ্ৰয় লোৱা সকলৰ তেওঁ ঢাল হয়।
6 Add thou not to his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
৬তেওঁৰ বাক্যৰ লগত একো যোগ নিদিবা; নহ’লে তেওঁ তোমাক তিৰস্কাৰ কৰিব, আৰু তুমি মিছলীয়া বুলি প্রমাণিত হবা।
7 Two things I have asked of thee, deny me not before I die:
৭মই তোমাৰ আগত দুটা বস্তু খুজিছোঁ; মোৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাৰ আগতে সেই বস্তু দুটা মোক দিবলৈ অমান্তি নহ’বা।
8 Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me,
৮অহংকাৰ আৰু মিছা কথা মোৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা; মোক দৰিদ্ৰ নাইবা ধনৱান নকৰিবা; কেৱল মোৰ প্রয়োজনীয় আহাৰ মোক দিয়া।
9 lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is Jehovah? or lest I be poor, and steal, and use the name of my God profanely.
৯কাৰণ মোৰ যদি অতিৰিক্ত থাকে, তেনেহ’লে মই তোমাক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিম আৰু ক’ম, “যিহোৱা নো কোন?” বা মই যদি দৰিদ্ৰ হওঁ আৰু চুৰ কৰোঁ, তেনেহ’লে মোৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ নাম মই অপবিত্র কৰিম।
10 Slander not a servant to his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be held guilty.
১০দাসক তেওঁৰ মালিকৰ আগত নিন্দা নকৰিবা; কৰিলে তেওঁ তোমাক শাও দিব, আৰু তুমি দোষী বুলি গণিত হ’ব।
11 There is a generation who curses their father, and does not bless their mother.
১১এটা বংশ আছে, যি নিজৰ পিতৃক শাও দিয়ে, আৰু নিজৰ মাতৃক মহিমান্বিত নকৰে।
12 There is a generation who are pure in their own eyes, and yet are not washed from their filthiness.
১২সেই বংশই নিজে নিজৰ দৃষ্টিত শুদ্ধ; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ কলুষিতা পৰিত্যাগ নকৰে।
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes, and their eyelids are lifted up.
১৩সেই বংশ নিজৰ দৃষ্টিতে নিজে বহুত অহংকাৰী! আৰু তেওঁলোকে চকুৰ পিৰিঠি ওপৰ কৰি ৰাখে!
14 There is a generation whose teeth are swords, and their jaw teeth, knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
১৪তেওঁলোক এনে বংশ; যিসকলৰ দাঁত তৰোৱালৰ দৰে, আৰু গালৰ হাড় ছুৰিৰ দৰে, সেয়ে তেওঁলোকে দেশৰ পৰা দৰিদ্ৰ সকলক আৰু মানুহৰ মাজৰ পৰা অভাৱী সকলক গ্রাস কৰিব পাৰে।
15 The leach has two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four that do not say, Enough:
১৫জোকৰ দুজনী জীয়েক আছে; “দিয়া দিয়া” বুলি তেওঁলোকে কান্দে। তিনিটা বিষয় আছে, যি কেতিয়াও সন্তুষ্ট নহয়, চতুৰ্থ বিষয়ে কেতিয়াও নকয় “যথেষ্ট হ’ল”
16 Sheol, and the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water, and the fire that does not say, Enough. (Sheol h7585)
১৬চিয়োল, বাঁজী তিৰোতাৰ গৰ্ভ, পানীৰ বাবে তৃষ্ণাতুৰ হোৱা মাটি, আৰু জুইয়ে কেতিয়াও নকয়, “যথেষ্ট হ’ল।” (Sheol h7585)
17 The eye that mocks at his father, and despises to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
১৭যি চকুৱে নিজৰ পিতৃক উপহাস কৰে, আৰু মাতৃৰ আজ্ঞা পালন কৰিবলৈ ঘিণ কৰে, তেওঁৰ চকু উপত্যকাৰ কাউৰীবোৰৰ দ্বাৰাই কাঢ়ি উলিওৱা হ’ব, আৰু শগুণে তেওঁক খাব।
18 There are three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
১৮ইয়াত তিনিটা বিষয় আছে, যি মোৰ বাবে অতি অদ্ভুত, চতুৰ্থ বিষয় মই বুজি নাপাওঁ:
19 The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a serpent upon a rock, the way of a ship in the midst of the sea, and the way of a man with a maiden.
১৯ঈগলে আকাশত উৰে; সাপে শিলত বগায়; জাহাজে সমুদ্রৰ মাজত গতি কৰে, আৰু পুৰুষে মহিলাৰ সৈতে জীৱনধাৰণ কৰে।
20 So is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no iniquity.
২০এইদৰে ব্যভিচৰিণীৰ পথ; তেওঁ খাই আৰু মুখ মঁচে আৰু কয়, “মই কোনো ভুল কৰা নাই।”
21 For three things the earth trembles, and for four, which it cannot bear:
২১তিনিটা বিষয়ত পৃথিৱী কঁপে, আৰু চতুৰ্থ বিষয় সহিব নোৱাৰি:
22 For a servant when he is king, and a fool when he is filled with food,
২২যেতিয়া এজন দাস ৰজা হয়; আৰু এজন মুৰ্খই আহাৰ খাই তৃপ্ত হয়;
23 for a hateful woman when she is married, and a handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
২৩ঘিণলগীয়া মহিলাই যেতিয়া বিবাহ হয়; আৰু এগৰাকী দাসীয়ে যেতিয়া নিজৰ গৃহিনীৰ স্থান লয়।
24 There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:
২৪পৃথিবীত চাৰিটা ক্ষুদ্ৰ বস্তু আছে; তথাপিও সেইবোৰ বহুত জ্ঞানী।
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer,
২৫পৰুৱা শক্তিশালী প্রাণী নহয়, তথাপি সিহঁতে গ্রীষ্ম কালত সিহঁতৰ আহাৰ যুগুত কৰে;
26 the conies are but a feeble folk, yet they make their houses in the rocks,
২৬চাফন পশু শক্তিমান জীৱ নহয়, তথাপি সিহঁতে শিলৰ মাজত নিজৰ ঘৰ সাজে;
27 the locusts have no king, yet they go forth all of them by bands,
২৭ফৰিংবোৰৰ ৰজা নাথাকে, তথাপি সিহঁত সকলোৱে শ্রেণী অনুসাৰে অতিক্রম কৰে;
28 the lizard takes hold with her hands, yet she is in kings' palaces.
২৮জেঠীক তুমি তোমাৰ দুয়োখন হাতেৰে ধৰি ৰাখিব পাৰা; তথাপি সিহঁত ৰজাৰ অট্টালিকাত বাস কৰে।
29 There are three things which are stately in their march, yea, four which are stately in going:
২৯নিজৰ দীঘল খোজৰ বাবে গৌৰৱ কৰা তিনিটা জীৱ আছে, চতুৰ্থবোৰ নিজৰ খোজ কঢ়াৰ ধৰণৰত গৌৰৱ কৰে।
30 The lion, which is mightiest among beasts, and turns not away from any,
৩০জন্তুৰ মাজত শক্তিশালী সিংহ, আৰু ই কোনো বস্তুৰ পৰা আঁতৰি নাহে;
31 the greyhound, also the he-goat, and the king against whom there is no rising up.
৩১বুকু ফিন্দাই খোজ কঢ়া মতা কুকুৰা, মতা ছাগলী, আৰু সৈন্যসকলৰ কাষত থকা ৰজা।
32 If thou have done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou have thought evil, lay thy hand upon thy mouth.
৩২তুমি যদি অজ্ঞানী হোৱা, তেনেহ’লে তুমি নিজকে প্রশংসা কৰা, বা যদি তুমি কু-কল্পনা কৰা, তেনেহ’লে তোমাৰ মুখত তোমাৰ হাত দিয়া।
33 For the churning of milk brings forth butter, and the wringing of the nose brings forth blood, so the forcing of wrath brings forth strife.
৩৩যিদৰে গাখীৰ মন্থন কৰিলে মাখন হয়, আৰু নাক মোহাৰিলে তেজ ওলায়, সেইদৰে ক্ৰোধে বিবাদ সৃষ্টি কৰে।
