< Proverbs 17 >

1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness with it, than a house full of feasting with strife.
Ⱪurbanliⱪ gɵxlirigǝ tolƣan jedǝllik ɵydin, Bir qixlǝm ⱪuruⱪ nan yǝp, kɵngül tinqliⱪta bolƣan ǝwzǝl.
2 A servant who deals wisely shall have rule over a son who causes shame, and shall have part in the inheritance among the brothers.
Hizmǝtkar qewǝr bolsa, hojisining nomusta ⱪoyƣuqi oƣlini baxⱪurar; Kǝlgüsidǝ u hojining oƣli ⱪatarida turup uning mirasni tǝⱪsim ⱪilar.
3 The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, but Jehovah tries the hearts.
Sapal ⱪazan kümüxni tawlar, qanaⱪ altunni tawlar, Biraⱪ adǝmning ⱪǝlbini Pǝrwǝrdigar sinar.
4 An evildoer gives heed to wicked lips. A liar gives ear to a mischievous tongue.
Ⱪǝbiⱨ kixi yaman sɵzlǝrgǝ ixinǝr; Yalƣanqi pitniqilǝrning sɵzigǝ ⱪulaⱪ salar.
5 He who mocks a poor man reproaches his maker. He who is glad at calamity shall not be unpunished.
Miskinlǝrni mǝshirǝ ⱪilƣuqi, ɵzini Yaratⱪuqini ⱨaⱪarǝtligüqidur; Baxⱪilarning bǝhtsizlikidin huxal bolƣan kixi jazasiz ⱪalmas.
6 Son's sons are the crown of old men, and the glory of sons are their fathers.
Ⱪerilarning nǝwriliri ularning tajidur; Pǝrzǝntlǝrning pǝhri ularning atiliridur.
7 Excellent speech is not appropriate to a fool, much less lying lips to a prince.
Əhmǝⱪ yarixiⱪ gǝp ⱪilsa uningƣa yaraxmas; Mɵtiwǝr yalƣan sɵzlisǝ uningƣa tehimu yaraxmas.
8 A bribe is a precious stone in the eyes of him who has it; wherever it turns, it prospers.
Para — uni bǝrgüqining nǝziridǝ esil bir gɵⱨǝrdur; Goya uni nǝgila ixlǝtsǝ muwǝppǝⱪiyǝtkǝ erixidiƣandǝk.
9 He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates chief friends.
Baxⱪilarning hataliⱪini yoputup kǝqürgǝn kixi meⱨir-muⱨǝbbǝtni kɵzlǝr; Kona hamanni soriƣan kixi yeⱪin dostlarni düxmǝn ⱪilar.
10 A rebuke enters deeper into him who has understanding than a hundred stripes into a fool.
Aⱪilanigǝ singgǝn bir eƣiz tǝnbiⱨ, Əhmǝⱪⱪǝ urulƣan yüz dǝrridin ünümlüktur.
11 An evil man seeks only rebellion. Therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
Yamanlar pǝⱪǝt asiyliⱪni kɵzlǝr; Uni jazalaxⱪa rǝⱨimsiz bir ǝlqi ǝwǝtilǝr.
12 Let a man meet a bear robbed of her cubs, rather than a fool in his folly.
Əhmiⱪanǝ ix ⱪiliwatⱪan nadan kixigǝ uqrap ⱪalƣandin kɵrǝ, Baliliridin ayrilƣan eyiⱪⱪa yoluⱪup ⱪalƣan yahxi.
13 He who rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
Kimki yahxiliⱪⱪa yamanliⱪ ⱪilsa, Ixikidin bala-ⱪaza neri kǝtmǝs.
14 The beginning of strife is like letting out water. Therefore leave off contention, before there is quarrelling.
Jedǝlning baxlinixi tosmini su elip kǝtkǝngǝ ohxaydu; Xunga jedǝl partlaxtin awwal talax-tartixtin ⱪol üzgin.
15 He who justifies a wicked man, and he who condemns a righteous man, both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.
Yamanni aⱪliƣan, Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniyƣa ⱪara qapliƣan, Ohxaxla Pǝrwǝrdigarƣa yirginqliktur.
16 Why is there a price in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, since he has no understanding?
Əhmǝⱪning kɵngli danaliⱪni ǝtiwarlimisa, Ⱪandaⱪmu uning ⱪolida danaliⱪni setiwalƣudǝk puli bolsun?
17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
[Ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy] dost ⱨǝrdaim sanga muⱨǝbbǝt kɵrsitǝr, [Ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy] ⱪerindax yaman kününg üqün yardǝmgǝ dunyaƣa kǝlgǝndur.
18 A man void of understanding strikes hands, and becomes surety in the presence of his neighbor.
Əⱪilsiz kixi ⱪol berip, Yeⱪini üqün kepil bolidu.
19 He loves transgression who loves strife. He who raises high his gate seeks destruction.
Jedǝlgǝ amraⱪ gunaⱨⱪa amraⱪtur; Bosuƣini egiz ⱪilƣan ⱨalakǝtni izdǝr.
20 He who has a wayward heart finds no good, and he who has a perverse tongue falls into mischief.
Niyiti buzulƣan yahxiliⱪ kɵrmǝs; Tilida ⱨǝⱪ-naⱨǝⱪni astin-üstün ⱪilƣuqi balaƣa yoluⱪar.
21 He who begets a fool it is to his sorrow, and the father of a fool has no joy.
Bala ǝhmǝⱪ bolsa, ata ƣǝm-ⱪayƣuƣa patar; Ⱨamaⱪǝtning atisi huxalliⱪ kɵrmǝs.
22 A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
Xad kɵngül xipaliⱪ doridǝk tǝngǝ dawadur; Sunuⱪ roⱨ-dil adǝmning yilikini ⱪurutar.
23 A wicked man receives a bribe out of the bosom, to pervert the ways of justice.
Qirik adǝm yǝng iqidǝ parini ⱪobul ⱪilar; U adalǝtning yolini burmilar.
24 Wisdom is before the face of him who has understanding, but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
Danaliⱪ yorutulƣan kixining kɵz aldida turar; Biraⱪ ǝⱪilsizning kɵzi hiyalkǝxlik ⱪilip ⱪutupta yürǝr.
25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him.
Galwang bala atini azabƣa salar; Uni tuƣⱪuqiningmu dǝrdi bolar.
26 Also to punish a righteous man is not good, nor to smite nobles for uprightness.
Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniylarƣa jǝrimanǝ ⱪoyuxⱪa ⱪǝt’iy bolmas; Əmirlǝrni adalǝtni ⱪolliƣini üqün dumbalaxⱪa bolmas.
27 He who spares his words has knowledge, and he who is of a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
Bilimi bar kixi kǝm sɵzlük bolar; Yorutulƣan adǝm ⱪaltis eƣir-besiⱪ bolar.
28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is considered wise. When he shuts his lips, he is prudent.
Ⱨǝtta ǝhmǝⱪmu az sɵzlisǝ dana ⱨesablinar; Tilini tizginligǝn kixi danixmǝn sanilar.
