Philippians 1
1 Paul and Timothy, bondmen of Jesus Christ, to all the sanctified in Jesus Christ who are at Philippi, with the guardians and helpers:
൧ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായ പൗലൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും ഫിലിപ്പിയിൽ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കും അദ്ധ്യക്ഷന്മാർക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാർക്കും കൂടെ എഴുതുന്നത്:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
൨നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.
3 I thank my God upon every memory of you,
൩നിങ്ങളിൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ആരംഭിച്ചവൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളോളം അതിനെ തികയ്ക്കും എന്ന് ഞാൻ ഉറച്ച്,
4 always in my every entreaty for all of you, making the entreaty with joy
൪ഒന്നാം നാൾമുതൽ ഇതുവരെയും സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള കൂട്ടായ്മ നിമിത്തം,
5 for your participation in the good news from the first day until now.
൫നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എല്ലാവർക്കുംവേണ്ടി കഴിക്കുന്ന സകല പ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും എപ്പോഴും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ച്,
6 Being confident of this same thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.
൬നിങ്ങളെ ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന് ഞാൻ സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
7 Just as it is right for me to think this about all of you, because I have you in my heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the good news, you all being partners with me of the grace.
൭എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളിലും സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിവാദത്തിലും സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിലും, കൃപയിൽ എനിക്ക് കൂട്ടാളികളായ നിങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുകകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കുറിച്ച് അങ്ങനെ വിചാരിക്കുന്നത് എനിക്ക് ന്യായമല്ലോ.
8 For God is my witness, how I long for you all in bowels of Jesus Christ.
൮ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ആർദ്രതയോടെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കാണുവാൻ എത്ര വാഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു എന്നതിന് ദൈവം സാക്ഷി.
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment
൯നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹം മേല്ക്കുമേൽ ജ്ഞാനത്തിലും സകലവിവേചനത്തിലും വർദ്ധിച്ചു വന്നിട്ട്
10 for you to examine the things that are significant. So that ye may be tested by sunlight and not stumbling toward the day of Christ,
൧൦ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളിലേക്ക് നിഷ്കളങ്കരും കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവരുമായി, നിങ്ങൾ ഉത്തമമായത് അംഗീകരിച്ച്,
11 having been filled with fruits of righteousness, through Jesus Christ, for glory and praise of God.
൧൧ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിനും പുകഴ്ചയ്ക്കുമായിട്ട് യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാൽ നീതിഫലങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞവരാകുവാൻ ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
12 But I want you to know, brothers, that the things in respect to me have come more for the advancement of the good news,
൧൨സഹോദരന്മാരേ, എനിക്ക് ഭവിച്ചത് സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്ക് കാരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ അറിയുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.
13 in order for my bonds in Christ to become apparent in the whole Praetorium, and in all the others.
൧൩അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തു നിമിത്തമാകുന്നു എന്ന് അകമ്പടിപട്ടാളത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും ശേഷം എല്ലാവർക്കും തെളിവായി വരികയും
14 And more of the brothers in the Lord have been convinced by my bonds to be much more bold to speak the word fearlessly.
൧൪സഹോദരന്മാർ മിക്കപേരും എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളാൽ കർത്താവിൽ ധൈര്യംപൂണ്ട് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ഭയംകൂടാതെ അധികമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുവാൻ ധൈര്യത്തോടെ ഇരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
15 Actually some even preach the Christ because of envy and strife, and some also because of good-will.
൧൫ചിലർ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നത് അസൂയയും പിണക്കവും നിമിത്തമാണ്;
16 Some indeed proclaim the Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to bring affliction to my bonds.
൧൬ചിലരോ നല്ല മനസ്സോടെ തന്നെ. അവർ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിവാദത്തിനായി എന്നെ നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ട് അത് സ്നേഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് ചെയ്യുന്നു.
17 But some from love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the good news.
൧൭എന്നാൽ മറ്റവരോ, എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളിൽ എനിക്ക് പ്രയാസം വരുത്തുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മലതയോടെയല്ല, സ്വാർത്ഥതയിൽ നിന്നത്രേ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നത്.
18 What then? Except in every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice, but also I will rejoice.
൧൮പിന്നെ എന്ത്? അഭിനയമായിട്ടോ സത്യമായിട്ടോ ഏതുവിധമായാലും ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അത്രേ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിൽ ഞാൻ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയും സന്തോഷിക്കും.
19 For I know that this will turn out to me for salvation (through your entreaty, and the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ)
൧൯എന്തെന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയാലും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവിന്റെ സഹായത്താലും അത് എനിക്ക് വിടുതലായിത്തീരും എന്ന് ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
20 according to my eager expectation and hope that I will be shamed in nothing. But with all boldness, now as always, Christ will also be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.
൨൦ഒന്നിലും ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല എന്നത് എന്റെ ദൃഢമായ പ്രതീക്ഷയും പ്രത്യാശയും ആകുന്നു. എന്നാൽ എപ്പോഴും എന്നപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും പൂർണ്ണ ധൈര്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ജീവനാൽ ആകട്ടെ മരണത്താൽ ആകട്ടെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ മഹിമപ്പെടും.
21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
൨൧എന്തെന്നാൽ എനിക്ക് ജീവിക്കുന്നത് ക്രിസ്തുവും മരിക്കുന്നത് ലാഭവും ആകുന്നു.
22 But if to live in flesh, this is fruit of labor to me, then what I will choose I know not.
൨൨എന്നാൽ ജഡത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അത് ഫലകരമായ എന്റെ വേലയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടിത്തന്നെ; എങ്കിലും ഏത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണം എന്ന് ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
23 And I am constrained by the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, being far better.
൨൩എന്നാൽ ഇവ രണ്ടിനാലും ഞാൻ ഞെരുങ്ങുന്നു; വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞ് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുവാൻ എനിക്ക് ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ട്; അത് അത്യുത്തമമല്ലോ.
24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary because of you.
൨൪എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ശരീരത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം ഏറെ ആവശ്യം.
25 And having been convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and will continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith.
൨൫ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഉറച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കും സന്തോഷത്തിനുമായിത്തന്നെ ഞാൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കും എന്നും നിങ്ങളോട് എല്ലാവരോടുംകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും എന്നും അറിയുന്നു.
26 So that your pride may abound in Christ Jesus in me because of my presence with you again.
൨൬അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരുന്നതിനാൽ, എന്നിലുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രശംസ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ വർദ്ധിക്കുവാൻ ഇടയാകും.
27 Only be citizens worthy of the good news of the Christ, so that, whether having come and having seen you or being absent, I may hear things about you that ye stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the good news.
൨൭ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വന്ന് കണ്ടിട്ടോ, ദൂരത്തിരുന്നോ, നിങ്ങൾ ഏകാത്മാവിൽ ഉറച്ചുനിന്ന്, ഏകമനസ്സോടെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിനായി ഒന്നിച്ച് പോരാട്ടം കഴിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് നിങ്ങളേക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന് യോഗ്യമാംവണ്ണം മാത്രം പെരുമാറുവിൻ.
28 And not being frightened in anything by those who oppose, which is indeed a sign of destruction to them, but to you of salvation, and this from God.
൨൮നിങ്ങളെ എതിർക്കുന്നവരാൽ ഒന്നിലും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട; ഇത് അവരുടെ നാശത്തിനും നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയ്ക്കും ഒരു അടയാളമാകുന്നു;
29 Because to you it was granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,
൨൯അത് ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളതാകുന്നു. എന്തെന്നാൽ, അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുവാൻ മാത്രമല്ല, അവനുവേണ്ടി കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുവാനും കൂടെ ഇത് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്രിസ്തുനിമിത്തം അനുവദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
30 having the same conflict such as ye saw in me, and now hear is in me.
൩൦അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നിൽ കണ്ടതും ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്നതുമായ അതേ പോരാട്ടം നിങ്ങൾക്കും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.
