Numbers 1
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Yahvé habló a Moisés en el desierto del Sinaí, en la Tienda del Encuentro, el primer día del segundo mes, en el segundo año después de haber salido de la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, every male, by their polls,
“Haz un censo de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, cada varón, uno por uno,
3 from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go forth to war in Israel. Thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
de veinte años en adelante, todos los que puedan salir a la guerra en Israel. Tú y Aarón los contarán por sus divisiones.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers' house.
Con vosotros habrá un hombre de cada tribu, cada uno jefe de la casa de sus padres.
5 And these are the names of the men who shall stand with you. Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
Estos son los nombres de los hombres que estarán con vosotros: De Reuben: Elizur el hijo de Sedeur.
6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
De Simeón: Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai.
7 Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
De Judá: Naasón, hijo de Aminadab.
8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
De Isacar: Netanel, hijo de Zuar.
9 Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.
De Zabulón: Eliab, hijo de Helón.
10 Of the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
De los hijos de José: de Efraín: Elisama hijo de Amiud; de Manasés Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur.
11 Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

12 Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

13 Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

14 Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

15 Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan.

16 These are those who were called from the congregation, the rulers of the tribes of their fathers. They were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name,

18 and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month. And they declared their ancestry after their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
Reunieron a toda la congregación el primer día del segundo mes, y declararon su ascendencia por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años en adelante, uno por uno.
19 As Jehovah commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Como Yahvé le ordenó a Moisés, así los contó en el desierto de Sinaí.
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war,
Los hijos de Rubén, primogénitos de Israel, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, uno por uno, todo varón de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
21 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand and five hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Rubén, fueron cuarenta y seis mil quinientos.
22 Of the sons of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, those who were numbered of it, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Simeón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, los que fueron contados de ella, según el número de los nombres, uno por uno, todo varón de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
23 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

24 Of the sons of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Gad, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
25 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26 Of the sons of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Judá, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
27 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

28 Of the sons of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Isacar, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
29 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

30 Of the sons of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Zabulón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
31 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

32 Of the sons of Joseph, namely, of the sons of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de José: de los hijos de Efraín, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
33 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred;
los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Efraín, fueron cuarenta mil quinientos.
34 of the sons of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Manasés, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
35 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

36 Of the sons of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Benjamín, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
37 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

38 Of the sons of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Dan, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
39 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Dan, fueron sesenta y dos mil setecientos.
40 Of the sons of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Aser, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
41 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Aser, fueron cuarenta y un mil quinientos.
42 Of the sons of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,
De los hijos de Neftalí, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, según el número de los nombres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra:
43 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Neftalí, fueron cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos.
44 These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the rulers of Israel, being twelve men. They were each one for his fathers' house.
Estos son los que fueron contados, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, y los doce hombres que eran príncipes de Israel, cada uno por la casa de su padre.
45 So all those who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war in Israel,
Así que todos los que fueron contados de los hijos de Israel por las casas de sus padres, de veinte años para arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra en Israel —
46 even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47 But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
Pero los levitas según la tribu de sus padres no fueron contados entre ellos.
48 For Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Porque Yahvé habló a Moisés, diciendo:
49 Only the tribe of Levi thou shall not number, neither shall thou take the sum of them among the sons of Israel,
“Sólo la tribu de Leví no contarás, ni harás censo de ellos entre los hijos de Israel;
50 but appoint thou the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all the furniture of it, and over all that belongs to it. They shall bear the tabernacle, and all the furniture of it, and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
sino que designarás a los levitas sobre el Tabernáculo del Testimonio, y sobre todos sus enseres, y sobre todo lo que le pertenece. Ellos llevarán el tabernáculo y todos sus enseres; lo cuidarán y acamparán alrededor de él.
51 And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites shall take it down, and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. And the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
Cuando el tabernáculo deba trasladarse, los levitas lo desmontarán; y cuando el tabernáculo deba levantarse, los levitas lo armarán. El extranjero que se acerque morirá.
52 And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.
Los hijos de Israel acamparán, cada uno en su campamento, y cada uno en su estandarte, según sus divisiones.
53 But the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.
Pero los levitas acamparán alrededor del Tabernáculo del Testimonio, para que no haya ira en la congregación de los hijos de Israel. Los levitas serán responsables del Tabernáculo del Testimonio”.
54 Thus did the sons of Israel. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so they did.
Así hicieron los hijos de Israel. Según todo lo que Yahvé ordenó a Moisés, así lo hicieron.
