Numbers 8
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
2 Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When thou light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.
Habla a Aarón, y díle: Cuando encendieres las lámparas, las siete lámparas arderán contra la faz del candelero.
3 And Aaron did so. He lit the lamps of it in front of the lampstand, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
Y Aarón lo hizo así, que encendió contra la faz del candelero sus lámparas, como Jehová lo mandó a Moisés.
4 And this was the work of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. To the base of it, and to the flowers of it, it was beaten work. According to the pattern which Jehovah had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
Y esta era la hechura del candelero; de oro de martillo: desde su pie hasta sus flores era de martillo, conforme al modelo que Jehová mostró a Moisés, así hizo el candelero.
5 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Ítem, Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
6 Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and cleanse them.
Toma a los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y expíalos:
7 And thus thou shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them, and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
Y hacerles has así para expiarlos: Rocía sobre ellos el agua de la expiación, y haz pasar navaja sobre toda su carne, y lavarán sus vestidos, y serán expiados.
8 Then let them take a young bullock, and its meal offering-fine flour mingled with oil. And thou shall take another young bullock for a sin offering.
Y tomarán un novillo hijo de vaca con su presente de flor de harina amasada con aceite: y tomarás otro novillo hijo de vaca, para expiación:
9 And thou shall present the Levites before the tent of meeting. And thou shall assemble the whole congregation of the sons of Israel,
Y harás llegar los Levitas delante del tabernáculo del testimonio, y juntarás toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel:
10 and thou shall present the Levites before Jehovah. And the sons of Israel shall lay their hands upon the Levites.
Y harás llegar los Levitas delante de Jehová; y pondrán los hijos de Israel sus manos sobre los Levitas:
11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before Jehovah for a wave offering on the behalf of the sons of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Jehovah.
Y ofrecerá Aarón los Levitas delante de Jehová en ofrenda de los hijos de Israel, y servirán en el ministerio de Jehová.
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and offer thou the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites.
Y los Levitas pondrán sus manos sobre las cabezas de los novillos: Y harás el uno por expiación, y el otro en holocausto a Jehová para expiar los Levitas.
13 And thou shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for a wave offering to Jehovah.
Y harás presentar los Levitas delante de Aarón, y delante de sus hijos, y ofrecerlos has en ofrenda a Jehová.
14 Thus shall thou separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
Y apartarás los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y serán míos los Levitas.
15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And thou shall cleanse them, and offer them for a wave offering.
Y así después vendrán los Levitas a ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y expiarlos has, y ofrecerlos has en ofrenda.
16 For they are wholly given to me from among the sons of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the sons of Israel, I have taken them to me.
Porque dados, dados me son a mí los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel en lugar de todo aquel que abre matriz; en lugar de los primogénitos de todos los hijos de Israel me los he tomado yo.
17 For all the firstborn among the sons of Israel are mine, both man and beast. On the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
Porque mío es todo primogénito en los hijos de Israel, así de hombres como de animales: desde el día que yo herí a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, los santifiqué para mí:
18 And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
Y he tomado los Levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos en los hijos de Israel.
19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, that there be no plague among the sons of Israel, when the sons of Israel come near to the sanctuary.
Y yo he dado dados los Levitas a Aarón, y a sus hijos de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sirvan el ministerio de los hijos de Israel en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y reconcilien a los hijos de Israel, porque no haya plaga en los hijos de Israel, llegando los hijos de Israel al santuario.
20 Thus did Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the Levites. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the sons of Israel did to them.
E hizo Moisés, y Aarón, y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel de los Levitas, conforme a todas las cosas que mandó Jehová a Moisés a cerca de los Levitas, así hicieron de ellos los hijos de Israel.
21 And the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Jehovah, and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
Y los Levitas se expiaron, y lavaron sus vestidos, y Aarón los ofreció en ofrenda delante de Jehová: y Aarón los reconcilió para expiarlos.
22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons. As Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
Y así después vinieron los Levitas para servir en su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio delante de Aarón, y delante de sus hijos: de la manera que mandó Jehová a Moisés acerca de los Levitas, así hicieron con ellos.
23 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
24 This is that which belongs to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting.
Esto cuanto a los Levitas: De veinte y cinco años y arriba entrarán a hacer su oficio en el servicio del tabernáculo del testimonio:
25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the work, and shall serve no more,
Mas desde los cincuenta años volverán del oficio de su ministerio, y nunca más servirán:
26 but shall minister with their brothers in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shall thou do to the Levites concerning their charges.
Mas servirán con sus hermanos en el tabernáculo del testimonio para hacer la guarda: mas no servirán en el ministerio. Así harás de los Levitas cuanto a sus oficios.
