Numbers 33
1 These are the journeys of the sons of Israel when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Voici les campements des enfants d’Israël, quand ils sortirent du pays d’Égypte, selon leurs troupes, sous la conduite de Moïse et d’Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Jehovah. And these are their journeys according to their goings out.
Moïse mit par écrit les lieux d’où ils partirent, selon leurs campements, d’après l’ordre de Yahweh, et voici leurs campements selon leurs départs:
3 And they journeyed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the morrow after the Passover the sons of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,
Ils partirent de Ramsès le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois. Le lendemain de la Pâque, les enfants d’Israël sortirent la main levée, à la vue de tous les Egyptiens.
4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn whom Jehovah had smitten among them; upon their gods also Jehovah executed judgments.
Et les Egyptiens enterraient ceux que Yahweh avait frappés parmi eux, tous leurs premiers-nés; Yahweh exerça aussi des jugements sur leurs dieux.
5 And the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.
Etant partis de Ramsès, les enfants d’Israël campèrent à Soccoth.
6 And they journeyed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
Ils partirent de Soccoth et campèrent à Etham, qui est aux confins du désert.
7 And they journeyed from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon, and they encamped before Migdol.
Ils partirent d’Etham et, ayant tourné vers Phihahiroth, qui est vis-à-vis de Béel-séphon, ils campèrent devant Magdalum.
8 And they journeyed from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness. And they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
Ils partirent de devant Phihahiroth et passèrent au milieu de la mer, vers le désert. Après trois journées de marche dans le désert d’Etham, ils campèrent à Mara.
9 And they journeyed from Marah, and came to Elim. And in Elim were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.
Ils partirent de Mara et arrivèrent à Élim, où il y avait douze sources d’eau et soixante-dix palmiers, et ils y campèrent.
10 And they journeyed from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
Ils partirent d’Élim et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
11 And they journeyed from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
Ils partirent de la mer Rouge et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
12 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
Ils partirent du désert de Sin et campèrent à Daphca.
13 And they journeyed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
Ils partirent de Daphca et campèrent à Alus.
14 And they journeyed from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
Ils partirent d’Alus et campèrent à Raphidim, et il n’y eut pas là d’eau à boire pour le peuple.
15 And they journeyed from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.
Ils partirent de Raphidim et campèrent dans le désert de Sinaï.
16 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.
Ils partirent du désert de Sinaï et campèrent à Kibroth-Hattaava.
17 And they journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped in Hazeroth.

20 And they journeyed from Rimmon-perez, and encamped in Libnah.

21 And they journeyed from Libnah, and encamped in Rissah.

22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and encamped in Kehelathah.

23 And they journeyed from Kehelathah, and encamped in mount Shepher.

24 And they journeyed from mount Shepher, and encamped in Haradah.

34 And they journeyed from Jotbathah, and encamped in Abronah.
Ils partirent de Jétébatha et campèrent à Hébrona.
35 And they journeyed from Abronah, and encamped in Ezion-geber.
Ils partirent de Hébrona et campèrent à Asiongaber.
36 And they journeyed from Ezion-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin (the same is Kadesh).
Ils partirent d’Asiongaber et campèrent dans le désert de Sin, c’est-à-dire à Cadès.
37 And they journeyed from Kadesh, and encamped at mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
Ils partirent de Cadès et campèrent à la montagne de Hor, à l’extrémité du pays d’Edom.
38 (And Aaron the priest went up onto mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the sons of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
Aaron, le prêtre, monta sur la montagne de Hor, sur l’ordre de Yahweh, et il y mourut, la quarantième année après la sortie des enfants d’Israël du pays d’Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois.
39 And Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in mount Hor.
Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans lorsqu’il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the sons of Israel.)
Ce fut alors que le Canaanéen, roi d’Arad, qui habitait le Négeb dans le pays de Canaan, apprit l’arrivée des enfants d’Israël.
41 And they journeyed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor et campèrent à Salmona.
42 And they journeyed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
Ils partirent de Salmona et campèrent à Phunon.
43 And they journeyed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
Ils partirent de Phunon et campèrent à Oboth.
44 And they journeyed from Oboth, and encamped in Iye-abarim, in the border of Moab.
Ils partirent d’Oboth et campèrent à Ijé-Abarim, à la frontière de Moab.
45 And they journeyed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon-gad.
Ils partirent de Ijé-Abarim et campèrent à Dibon-Gad.
46 And they journeyed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
Ils partirent de Dibon-Gad et campèrent à Helmon-Deblathaïm.
47 And they journeyed from Almon-diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
Ils partirent d’Helmon-Deblathaïm et campèrent aux monts Abarim, en face de Nébo.
48 And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
Ils partirent des monts Abarim et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.
49 And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth even to Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
Ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Bethsimoth jusqu’à Abel-Settim, dans les plaines de Moab.
50 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
Yahweh parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, en disant:
51 Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
« Parle aux enfants d’Israël: Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain et que vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan,
52 then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.
vous expulserez devant vous tous les habitants du pays, vous détruirez toutes leurs pierres sculptées, et vous détruirez toutes leurs images d’airain fondu, et vous dévasterez tous leurs hauts lieux.
53 And ye shall take possession of the land, and dwell in it, for to you I have given the land to possess it.
Vous prendrez possession du pays et vous l’habiterez; car je vous ai donné le pays pour le posséder.
54 And ye shall inherit the land by lot according to your families. To the more ye shall give more inheritance, and to the few thou shall give less inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. Ye shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
Vous partagerez le pays par le sort, selon vos familles; vous donnerez un héritage plus grand à ceux qui sont en plus grand nombre, et tu donneras un héritage plus petit à ceux qui sont en plus petit nombre. Ce que le sort assignera à chacun lui appartiendra; vous le recevrez en propriété, selon vos tribus patriarcales.
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those that ye let remain of them shall be as pricks in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall vex you in the land in which ye dwell.
Mais si vous n’expulsez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d’entre eux que vous laisserez seront comme des épines dans vos yeux et comme des aiguillons dans vos flancs, et ils vous traiteront en ennemis dans le pays que vous allez habiter.
56 And it shall come to pass, that, as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.
Et je vous traiterai vous-même comme j’avais résolu de les traiter. »
