Numbers 12
1 And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married, for he had married a Cushite woman.
モーセはエテオピアの女を娶りたりしがそのエテオピアの女を娶りしをもてミリアムとアロン、モーセを謗れり
2 And they said, Has Jehovah indeed spoken only with Moses? Has he not spoken also with us? And Jehovah heard it.
彼等すなはち言けるはヱホバただモーセによりてのみ語りたまはんやまた我等によりても語り給ふにあらずやとヱホバこれを聞たまへり
3 Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men who were upon the face of the earth.
(モーセはその人と爲温柔なること世の中の諸の人に勝れり)
4 And Jehovah spoke suddenly to Moses, and to Aaron, and to Miriam, Come out ye three to the tent of meeting. And the three came out.
是に於てヱホバ遽にモーセ、アロン及びミリアムに言たまはく汝等三人集會の幕屋に出きたれと三人すなはち出きたりければ
5 And Jehovah came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the tent, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both came forth.
ヱホバ雲の柱の中にありて降り幕屋の門に立てアロンとミリアムを呼たまひしがかれら二人進みたれば
6 And he said, Hear now my words. If there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.
之に言たまはく汝等わが言を聽け汝らの中にもし預言者あらば我ヱホバ異象において我をこれに知しめまた夢において之と語らん
7 My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.
わが僕モーセに於ては然らず彼はわが家に忠義なる者なり
8 With him I will speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches, and he has beheld the form of Jehovah. Why then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?
彼とは我口をもて相語り明かに言ひて隠語を用ひず彼はまたヱホバの形を見るなり然るを汝等なんぞわが僕モーセを謗ることを畏れざるやと
9 And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against them, and he departed.
ヱホバかれらに向ひ忿怒を發して去たまへり
10 And the cloud removed from over the tent. And, behold, Miriam was leprous, as snow. And Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
雲すなはち幕屋をはなれて去ぬその時ミリアムに癩病生じてその身雪のごとく爲りアロン、ミリアムを見かへるに旣に癩病生じをる
11 And Aaron said to Moses, Oh, my lord, lay not, I pray thee, sin upon us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.
アロン是においてモーセに言けるは嗟わが主よ我等愚なる事をなして罪を犯したれど願くは其罪を我等に蒙らしむる勿れ
12 Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.
彼をして母の胎より肉半分腐れて死て生れいづる者のごとくならしむる勿れ
13 And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, Heal her, O God, I beseech thee.
モーセすなはちヱホバに呼はりて言ふ嗚呼神よ願くは彼を醫したまへ
14 And Jehovah said to Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.
ヱホバ、モーセに言たまひけるは彼の父その面に唾する事ありてすら彼は七日の間羞をるべきに非ずや然ば七日の間かれを營の外に禁鎖おきて然る後に歸り入しむべしと
15 And Miriam was shut up outside the camp seven days. And the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
ミリアムはすなはち七日の間營の外に禁鎖られぬ民はミリアムの歸り入るまで途に進まざりき
16 And afterward the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
その後民ハゼロテより進みてバランの曠野に營を張り
