Numbers 1

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt, saying,

௧இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இரண்டாம் வருடம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில், யெகோவா சீனாய் வனாந்திரத்தில் இருக்கிற ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே மோசேயை நோக்கி:

2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, every male, by their polls,

௨“நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேலர்களின் முழுச்சபையாக இருக்கிற அவர்கள் தகப்பன்மார்களுடைய வீட்டு வம்சங்களிலுள்ள ஆண்களாகிய எல்லா தலைகளையும் ஒவ்வொருவராக எண்ணிக் கணக்கெடுங்கள்.

3 from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go forth to war in Israel. Thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

௩இஸ்ரவேலிலே இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடியவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அவர்களுடைய சேனைகளின்படி நீயும் ஆரோனும் எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள்.

4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers' house.

௪ஒவ்வொரு வம்சத்திற்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதன் உங்களோடு இருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் தன்னுடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்திற்குத் தலைவனாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

5 And these are the names of the men who shall stand with you. Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

௫உங்களோடு நிற்கவேண்டிய மனிதர்களுடைய பெயர்கள்: ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் சேதேயூருடைய மகன் எலிசூர்.

6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

௬சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் சூரிஷதாயின் மகன் செலூமியேல்.

7 Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

௭யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மினதாபின் மகன் நகசோன்.

8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

௮இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் சூவாரின் மகன் நெதனெயேல்.

9 Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

௯செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் ஏலோனின் மகன் எலியாப்.

10 Of the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

௧0யோசேப்பின் மகன்களாகிய எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மியூதின் மகன் எலிஷாமா; மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் பெதாசூரின் மகன் கமாலியேல்.

11 Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

௧௧பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் கீதெயோனின் மகன் அபீதான்.

12 Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

௧௨தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மிஷதாயின் மகன் அகியேசேர்.

13 Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

௧௩ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் ஓகிரானின் மகன் பாகியேல்.

14 Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

௧௪காத் கோத்திரத்தில் தேகுவேலின் மகன் எலியாசாப்.

15 Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan.

௧௫நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் ஏனானின் மகன் அகீரா.

16 These are those who were called from the congregation, the rulers of the tribes of their fathers. They were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

௧௬இவர்களே சபையில் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும், தங்கள் தங்கள் முன்னோர்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களில் பிரபுக்களும், இஸ்ரவேலில் ஆயிரம்பேர்களுக்குத் தலைவர்களுமாக இருப்பவர்கள் என்றார்.

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name,

௧௭அப்படியே மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பேர்பேராகக் குறிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த மனிதர்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு,

18 and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month. And they declared their ancestry after their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

௧௮இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில் சபையார் எல்லோரையும் கூடிவரச்செய்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள்தங்கள் குடும்பத்தின்படியும், முன்னோர்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படியும், பெயர் கணக்கின்படியும், இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் தலைதலையாகத் தங்களுடைய வம்சாவளியைத் தெரிவித்தார்கள்.

19 As Jehovah commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

௧௯இப்படிக் யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, மோசே அவர்களை சீனாய் வனாந்திரத்தில் எண்ணிப்பார்த்தான்.

20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war,

௨0இஸ்ரவேலின் மூத்தமகனாகிய ரூபன் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் தலைதலையாக எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

21 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand and five hundred.

௨௧ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 46,500 பேர்.

22 Of the sons of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, those who were numbered of it, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war,

௨௨சிமியோன் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் தலைதலையாக எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

23 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

௨௩சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 59,300 பேர்.

24 Of the sons of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௨௪காத் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

25 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

௨௫காத் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 45,650 பேர்.

26 Of the sons of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௨௬யூதா சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

27 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

௨௭யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 74,600 பேர்.

28 Of the sons of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௨௮இசக்கார் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

29 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

௨௯இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் 54,400 பேர்.

30 Of the sons of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௩0செபுலோன் சந்ததியாருடைய புறப்படக்கூடிய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

31 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

௩௧செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 57,400 பேர்.

32 Of the sons of Joseph, namely, of the sons of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௩௨யோசேப்பின் மகன்களில் எப்பிராயீம் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

33 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred;

௩௩எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 40,500 பேர்.

34 of the sons of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௩௪மனாசே சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

35 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

௩௫மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 32,200 பேர்.

36 Of the sons of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௩௬பென்யமீன் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

37 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

௩௭பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 35,400 பேர்.

38 Of the sons of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௩௮தாண் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

39 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

௩௯தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 62,700 பேர்.

40 Of the sons of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௪0ஆசேர் சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

41 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.

௪௧ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 41,500 பேர்.

42 Of the sons of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

௪௨நப்தலி சந்ததியாருடைய முன்னோர்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடிய ஆண்கள் எல்லோரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

43 those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

௪௩நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், 53,400 பேர்.

44 These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the rulers of Israel, being twelve men. They were each one for his fathers' house.

௪௪எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே; மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய கோத்திரங்களின் வம்சத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு வம்சத்திற்கு ஒவ்வொரு பிரபுவாகிய பன்னிரண்டுபேரும் எண்ணினார்கள்.

45 So all those who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war in Israel,

௪௫இஸ்ரவேல் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல், இஸ்ரவேலில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படக்கூடியவர்களாகிய எண்ணப்பட்ட நபர்கள் எல்லோரும்,

46 even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

௪௬6,03,550 பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

47 But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

௪௭லேவியர்கள் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரத்தின்படியே, மற்றவர்களுடன் எண்ணப்படவில்லை.

48 For Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

௪௮யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

49 Only the tribe of Levi thou shall not number, neither shall thou take the sum of them among the sons of Israel,

௪௯“நீ லேவி கோத்திரத்தாரை மட்டும் எண்ணாமலும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குள்ளே அவர்களுடைய தொகையை சேர்க்காமலும்,

50 but appoint thou the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all the furniture of it, and over all that belongs to it. They shall bear the tabernacle, and all the furniture of it, and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

௫0லேவியர்களைச் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்திற்கும், அதினுடைய எல்லா பணிப்பொருட்களுக்கும், அதிலுள்ள அனைத்து பொருள்களுக்கும் பொறுப்பாளர்களாக ஏற்படுத்து; அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தையும் அதின் எல்லா பணிப்பொருட்களையும் சுமக்க வேண்டும்; அதினிடத்தில் ஊழியம் செய்து, வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் முகாமிடவேண்டும்.

51 And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites shall take it down, and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. And the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.

௫௧சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலம் புறப்படும்போது, லேவியர்கள் அதை இறக்கிவைத்து, அது நிறுவப்படும்போது, லேவியர்கள் அதை எடுத்து நிறுத்தவேண்டும்; அந்நியன் அதற்கு அருகில் வந்தால் கொலை செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

52 And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.

௫௨இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தங்கள் தங்கள் முகாமோடும், தங்கள் தங்கள் சேனையின் கொடியோடும் கூடாரம் போடவேண்டும்.

53 But the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

௫௩இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களாகிய சபையின்மேல் கடுங்கோபம் வராதபடி லேவியர்கள் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் முகாமிட்டு, லேவியர்கள் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைக் காவல்காப்பார்களாக என்றார்.

54 Thus did the sons of Israel. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so they did.

௫௪யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி எல்லாவற்றையும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் செய்தார்கள்.
