Mark 1
1 The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
第一項 キリストの先駆者 神の御子イエズス、キリストの福音の始。
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my agent before thy face, who will prepare thy way before thee.
預言者イザヤ[の書]に録して、「看よ我わが使を汝の面前に遣はさん、彼汝の前に汝の道を備ふべし。
3 The voice of a man crying out in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.
荒野に呼はる人の聲ありて、曰く、汝等主の道を備へよ、其徑を直くせよ」とあるが如く、
4 It came to pass, that John was immersing in the wilderness and preaching an immersion of repentance for remission of sins.
ヨハネ荒野に在りて洗し、且罪を赦されん為に、改心の洗禮を受けん事を宣教へしが、
5 And all the land of Judea and the Jerusalemites went out to him, and they were all immersed by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
ユデアの全地方及エルザレムの人、皆彼の許に出來り、己が罪を告白して、ヨルダン[河]にて彼に洗せられ居たりき。
6 And John was clothed with camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist, and eating locusts and wild honey.
ヨハネは駱駝の毛織を着、腰に皮帯を締め、蝗と野蜜とを食し居りしが、宣教して云ひけるは、
7 And he preached, saying, A man mightier than I comes after me of whom I am not worthy, having stooped down, to loosen the strap of his shoes.
我よりも力ある者我後に來り給ふ。我は屈みて、其履の紐を解くにも堪へず、
8 I indeed immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.
我は水にて汝等を洗したれども、彼は聖霊にて汝等を洗し給ふべし、と。
9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by John in the Jordan.
斯て當時イエズス、ガリレアのナザレトより來り、ヨルダン[河]にてヨハネに洗せられ給ひしが、
10 And straightaway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens divided, and the Spirit descending upon him as a dove.
軈て水より上り給ふや、天開け、[聖]霊鳩の如く降りて、我上に止り給ふを見給へり。
11 And a voice occurred out of the heavens, Thou are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
又天より聲して[曰く]、汝は我愛子なり、我汝に因りて心を安んぜり、と。
12 And straightaway the Spirit drives him forth into the wilderness.
[聖]霊直に彼を荒野に往かしめ給ひしが、
13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild beasts. And the agents served him.
四十日四十夜荒野に在りて、サタンに試みられ、野獣と共に居給ひ、天使等彼に事へ居たり。
14 Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee proclaiming the good news of God,
第二項 キリストの宣教の初 ヨハネの囚はれし後、イエズス、ガリレアに至り、神の國の福音を宣傳へて、
15 and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent ye, and believe in the good news.
曰ひけるは、期は満ちて神の國は近づけり、汝等改心して福音を信ぜよ、と。
16 And walking beside the sea of Galilee he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, the son of Simon, casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.
斯てガリレアの湖辺を過ぎ給ふに、シモンと其兄弟アンデレアとが湖に網打てるを見て、――即ち漁師なりき――
17 And Jesus said to them, Come ye behind me, and I will make you to become fishermen of men.
イエズス彼等に向ひ、我に從へ、我汝等を人を漁る者と成らしめん、と曰ひしかば、
18 And straightaway they left the nets, and followed him.
彼等直に網を舍きて從へり。
19 And having advanced a little from there he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.
尚少しく進み給ひて、ゼベデオの子ヤコボと其兄弟ヨハネとが、亦船の中に網を補ひつつ居るを見て、
20 And straightaway he called them. And having left their father Zebedee in the boat with the workmen, they went behind him.
直に彼等を召し給ひしに、彼等其父ゼベデオを、雇人と共に船に舍きて從へり。
21 And they entered into Capernaum, and straightaway on the sabbath day, having entered into the synagogue, he taught.
[一同]カファルナウムに入りしが、イエズス軈て安息日毎に會堂に入りて教へ給ひければ、
22 And they were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scholars.
人其教に驚き居たり。其は律法學士等の如くせずして、権威ある者の如くに教へ給へばなり。
23 And a man was in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,
然るに惡鬼に憑かれたる人、其會堂に在りしが、呼はりて、
24 saying, Oh no! What is with us and with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Did thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou are, the Holy man of God.
云ひけるは、ナザレトのイエズスよ、我等汝と何の関係かあらん、我等を亡ぼさんとて來り給へるか、我汝の誰なるかを知れり、即ち神の聖なる者なり、と。
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be thou muzzled, and come out of him.
イエズス之を責めて、汝黙して其人より出でよ、と曰ひしに、
26 And the unclean spirit, having convulsed him and having cried in a great voice, came out of him.
汚鬼其人を抅攣けさせ、聲高く叫びつつ出去れり。
27 And they were all amazed, so as to question among themselves, saying, What is this? What is this new doctrine, that he commands with authority, and the unclean spirits also obey him?
斯て人皆恐入りて、是は何事ぞ、何等の新しき教ぞ。彼は権威を以て汚鬼等にすら命じ給へば、彼等之に從ふよ、と互に僉議するに至りければ、
28 And his fame went forth straightaway into the entire region around Galilee.
イエズスの名聲、忽ガリレアの全地方に播がれり。
29 And straightaway, when they came forth out of the synagogue they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
彼等軈て會堂を出で、ヤコボヨハネと共に、シモンとアンデレアとの家に至りしが、
30 But Simon's mother-in-law lay feverish, and straightaway they tell him about her.
シモンの姑、熱を患ひて臥し居ければ、直に其事をイエズスに白したるに、
31 And upon coming, having taken hold of her hand, he raised her up and the fever left her. And straightaway she served them.
近づきて其手を取り、之を起し給ひしかば、熱立所に去りて彼婦彼等に給仕したり。
32 And having become evening when the sun set they brought to him all who were faring badly, and those who were demon-possessed.
夕暮に至り日没りて後、人々病める者及惡魔に憑かれたる者を、悉くイエズスの許に齎し、
33 And the whole city was gathered together near the door.
街の人挙りて門に集り居たりしが、
34 And he healed many who were faring badly with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he did not allow the demons to speak, because they had recognized him.
イエズス様々の病を患へる人を多く醫し、又惡魔を多く逐出して、言ふことを許し給はざりき、其は彼等イエズスを知ればなり。
35 And having risen early, very much in the night, he came out and departed into a desolate place, and prayed there.
イエズス未明に起出で、寂しき處に至りて祈り居給へるを、
36 And Simon and those with him searched for him.
シモン及共に居りし人々後を慕ひ行きて、
37 And having found him, they say to him, All are seeking thee.
是に遇ひしかば、人皆汝を尋ぬ、と云ひしに、
38 And he says to them, Let us go into the nearby towns, so that I may preach there also. For I came forth for this.
イエズス彼等に曰ひけるは、我等比鄰の村落市街へ往かん、彼處にも亦宣教すべし、我は是が為に來りたればなり、と。
39 And he was preaching in their synagogues in all Galilee, and casting out the demons.
斯て處々の會堂及ガリレア一般に宣教し、且惡魔を逐払ひ居給へり。
40 And a leper comes to him beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying to him, If thou will thou can make me clean.
時に一個の癩病者イエズスの許に來り、跪きて願ひ云ひけるは、思召ならば我を潔くする事を得給ふ、と。
41 And Jesus, having felt compassion, having reached out his hand, he touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou clean.
イエズス之を憫み給ひ、手を伸べ、是に触れて曰ひけるは、我意なり、潔くなれ、と。
42 And after he spoke, straightaway the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
之を曰ふや、癩病直に彼を去りて彼潔くなれり。
43 And having strictly warned him, straightaway he sent him out.
イエズス之を戒め給ひ、
44 And he says to him, See thou say nothing to any man, but go, show thyself to the priest, and bring for thy cleansing the things that Moses commanded for a testimony to them.
汝慎みて人に語ること勿れ、但往きて己を司祭に見せ、潔くなりたる為に、彼等への證據として、モイゼの命ぜしものを献げよ、と曰ひて、直に彼を去らしめ給へり。
45 But having gone out, he began to proclaim it much, and to spread abroad the matter, so as for him to no longer be able to enter openly into a city, but was outside in desolate places. And they came to him from all directions.
然れども彼出でて其事を語り、言弘め始めしかば、イエズス最早顕然に町に入り難く成りて、外の寂しき處に居給ひしが、人々八方より其許に集ひ來り居たり。
