Mark 7
1 And the Pharisees, and some of the scholars, having come from Jerusalem, gathered in to him.
ஒரு நாள் பரிசேயரும், மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியரில் சிலரும் எருசலேமிலிருந்து ஒன்றாய் வந்து, இயேசுவைச் சுற்றி நின்றார்கள்.
2 And having seen some of his disciples eating their loaves with profane hands, that is, unwashed, they accused them.
இயேசுவின் சீடர்களில் சிலர் முறைப்படி கை கழுவாமல், அசுத்தமான கைகளினால் உணவு சாப்பிடுவதை அவர்கள் கண்டார்கள்.
3 (For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, unless they wash their hands carefully, do not eat, holding the tradition of the elders.
பரிசேயரும், யூதர் எல்லோரும் முன்னோரின் பாரம்பரிய முறைப்படி, கைகளைக் கழுவினாலன்றி சாப்பிடமாட்டார்கள்.
4 And coming from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they bathe. And there are many other things that they have taken in to retain: washings of cups, and pots, and brazen vessels, and beds.)
சந்தைகூடும் இடங்களிலிருந்து வரும்போது தங்களைக் கழுவாமல் அவர்கள் சாப்பிடுவதில்லை. அது தவிர குவளைகள், கிண்ணங்கள், வெண்கலப் பாத்திரங்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கழுவுவது போன்ற அநேக பாரம்பரிய முறைகளையும் கைக்கொண்டார்கள்.
5 Then the Pharisees and the scholars demand of him, Why do thy disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?
எனவே பரிசேயரும், மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியரும் இயேசுவிடம், “உமது சீடர்கள் முன்னோரின் பாரம்பரிய முறைப்படி நடந்து கொள்ளாதிருப்பது ஏன்? அவர்கள் ‘அசுத்தமான’ கைகளினால் உணவு சாப்பிடுகிறார்களே” என்றார்கள்.
6 And having answered, he said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far distant from me.
அதற்கு இயேசு பதிலாக, “வேஷக்காரராகிய உங்களைக்குறித்து சரியாகவே இறைவாக்கினன் ஏசாயா இறைவாக்குரைத்தான்; அவர் எழுதியிருக்கிறதாவது: “‘இந்த மக்கள் தங்கள் உதடுகளினால் என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் இருதயமோ என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரமாயிருக்கிறது.
7 But in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
அவர்கள் வீணாகவே என்னை ஆராதிக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய போதனைகளோ, மனிதர்களின் ஒழுங்குவிதிகளே.’
8 For having set aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men: washings of pots and cups and many other such like things ye do.
நீங்களோ, இறைவனுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைவிட்டு, மனிதரின் பாரம்பரிய முறைகளையே பற்றிப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்” என்றார்.
9 And he said to them, Well do ye reject the commandment of God, so that ye may keep your tradition.
மேலும், அவர் அவர்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “நீங்கள் உங்கள் பாரம்பரிய முறைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதற்காக, இறைவனின் கட்டளைகளைப் புறக்கணிப்பதில் மிகவும் புத்திசாலிகள்.
10 For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother, and, He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him perish in death.
ஏனெனில் மோசே, ‘உனது தகப்பனையும் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்றும், தனது தகப்பனையோ தாயையோ சபித்தால் அவன் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும்’ என்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
11 But ye say, If a man should say to his father or mother, Whatever ye might be benefited from me is Corban, that is, an offering,
ஆனால் நீங்களோ, ஒருவன் தன் தாய் தகப்பனைப் பார்த்து, ‘என்னிடமிருந்து நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய உதவியை காணிக்கையாக இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்துவிட்டேன்’ என்று அவன் சொன்னால், அதுபோதும் என்கிறீர்கள்.
12 then ye no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
அதற்குப் பின்பு தன் தகப்பனுக்கோ, தாய்க்கோ எந்த உதவியையும் செய்ய நீங்கள் அனுமதிப்பதில்லை.
13 annulling the word of God by your tradition that ye have delivered. And many such like things ye do.
இவ்விதமாய், நீங்கள் கைக்கொண்டுவரும் பாரம்பரிய முறையினால், இறைவனுடைய வார்த்தையை செல்லாததாக்குகிறீர்கள். அத்துடன், நீங்கள் இவ்விதமான பல காரியங்களையும் செய்கிறீர்கள்” என்றார்.
14 And having summoned all the people, he said to them, Hear me all of you, and understand.
மேலும், இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைத் தன்னிடம் அழைத்துச் சொன்னதாவது: “நீங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இதை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
15 There is nothing outside the man, entering into him that can defile him, but the things coming out of him those are the things that defile the man.
மனிதனுக்கு வெளியே இருப்பது எதுவும், அவனுக்குள்ளே போவதினால் அவன் அசுத்தமாவதில்லை. ஆனால், மனிதனுக்குள்ளேயிருந்து வெளியே வருகிறவைகளே, அவனை அசுத்தப்படுத்துகின்றன.
16 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.
கேட்கிறதற்குக் காதுகளுள்ளவன் கேட்கட்டும்” என்று கூறினார்.
17 And when he entered into a house from the crowd, his disciples questioned him about the parable.
பின் மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைவிட்டு, அவர் புறப்பட்டு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றார். அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரிடத்தில், அவர் சொன்ன இந்த உவமையின் கருத்து என்ன? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
18 And he says to them, Are also ye so without understanding? Do ye not perceive that everything outside that enters into the man cannot defile him,
அவர் அவர்களிடம், “நீங்கள் புரிந்துகொள்ளாமல் இருக்கிறீர்களோ? ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு வெளியே இருந்து அவனுக்கு உள்ளே போகிறவை, அவனை அசுத்தப்படுத்துவதில்லை என்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதா?
19 because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the toilet (making all foods clean)?
ஏனெனில், அது அவனுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள் போகாமல், அவனுடைய வயிற்றுக்குள் போய், அவனது உடலைவிட்டு வெளியேறுகிறது” என்றார். இப்படிச் சொல்லி, இயேசு எல்லா உணவுப் பொருட்களும் சுத்தமானது என்று அறிவித்தார்.
20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.
இயேசு தொடர்ந்து: “ஒரு மனிதருக்கு உள்ளேயிருந்து வெளியே வருகிறவைகள் அவரை ‘அசுத்தப்படுத்தும்.’
21 For from inside the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts,
ஏனெனில், மனிதருடைய இருதயங்களிலிருந்தே முறைகேடான பாலுறவு, களவு, கொலை,
22 covetings, wickednesses, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, reviling, pride, foolishness.
விபசாரம், பேராசை, அநியாயம், வஞ்சகம், காமவெறி, பொறாமை, அவதூறு, கர்வம், மதிகேடு போன்ற தீய சிந்தனைகள் வருகின்றன;
23 All these evil things come from inside, and defile the man.
தீமையான இவை யாவும் உள்ளத்திலிருந்து வருகின்றன. இவையே, மனிதரை அசுத்தப்படுத்துகின்றன” என்றார்.
24 And having risen from there, he went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And having entered into a house, he wanted no man to know it, and yet he could not be hid.
இயேசு அவ்விடம்விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தீரு பட்டணத்தின் சுற்றுப் புறத்திற்குச் சென்றார். அவர் ஒரு வீட்டிற்குள் போய், தான் அங்கு இருப்பதை ஒருவரும் அறியாதிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று விரும்பினார்; ஆனால், அவர் அங்கிருப்பதை மறைக்க முடியவில்லை.
25 For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, after hearing about him, having come, she fell down at his feet.
ஒரு பெண் இயேசுவைக்குறித்து கேள்விப்பட்ட உடனே, அவரிடத்தில் வந்து அவருடைய பாதத்தில் விழுந்தாள். அவளது மகளை ஒரு அசுத்த ஆவி பிடித்திருந்தது.
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. And she besought him that he would cast out the demon from her daughter.
அவள் சீரோபேனிக்கியாவைப் பிறப்பிடமாகக் கொண்ட, ஒரு கிரேக்கப் பெண். தனது மகளிடத்திலிருக்கும் அந்தப் பிசாசைத் துரத்திவிடும்படி, அவள் இயேசுவைக் கெஞ்சிக் கேட்டாள்.
27 And Jesus said to her, Allow the children first be filled, for it is not right to take the children's bread and cast it to the house dogs.
இயேசு அவளிடம், “முதலில் பிள்ளைகள், அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டியதைச் சாப்பிடட்டும். ஏனெனில் பிள்ளைகளின் உணவை எடுத்து நாய்க்குட்டிகளுக்குப் போடுவது சரியல்ல” என்றார்.
28 But she answered and says to him, Yes, Lord, for even the house dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
அதற்கு அவள், “ஆம், ஆண்டவரே, ஆனால் மேஜையின்கீழ் இருக்கும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள், பிள்ளைகள் சிந்தும் அப்பத்துண்டுகளைத் தின்னுமே” என்று பதிலளித்தாள்.
29 And he said to her, Because of this saying, go thou. The demon has gone out of thy daughter.
அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவளிடம், “உனது இந்தப் பதிலே போதும், நீ போகலாம்; அந்தப் பிசாசு உன் மகளை விட்டுப் போய்விட்டது” என்றார்.
30 And having departed to her house, she found the demon having gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
அப்படியே அவள் வீட்டிற்குப்போய், தனது மகள் படுக்கையில் படுத்திருப்பதைக் கண்டாள். பிசாசு அவளைவிட்டுப் போயிருந்தது.
31 And again having departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, he came to the sea of Galilee in the midst of the regions of Decapolis.
அதற்குப் பின்பு இயேசு, தீருவின் சுற்றுப் புறத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, சீதோன் வழியாகப்போய், தெக்கப்போலி பகுதியிலுள்ள கலிலேயாக் கடல் பகுதியை அடைந்தார்.
32 And they bring a deaf, tongue-tied man to him, and they beseech him to lay his hand upon him.
அங்கே சிலர் அவரிடத்தில் செவிடனும், ஊமையுமாயிருந்த ஒருவனைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள். அவன்மேல் இயேசு தமது கைகளை வைக்க வேண்டுமென்று அவர்கள் அவரைக் கெஞ்சிக் கேட்டார்கள்.
33 And having taken him from the multitude in private, he put his fingers into his ears, and having spat, he touched his tongue.
இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்திலிருந்து அவனைத் தனிமையான ஒரு இடத்திற்கு கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், அவனுடைய காதுகளுக்குள் தமது விரல்களை வைத்தார். அதற்குப் பின்பு அவர் உமிழ்ந்து, அவனது நாவைத் தொட்டார்.
34 And having looked up to heaven, he sighed, and says to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
அவர் ஆழ்ந்த பெருமூச்சுடன் வானத்தை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, “எப்பத்தா!” என்றார். “திறக்கப்படுவாயாக” என்பதே அதன் அர்த்தமாகும்.
35 And straightaway his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke plainly.
உடனே, அவனுடைய காதுகள் திறவுண்டன. அவனுடைய நாவு கட்டவிழ்ந்தது. அவன் தெளிவாய் பேசத் தொடங்கினான்.
36 And he commanded them that they should tell no man, but as much as he commanded them, so much the more abundantly they proclaimed it.
இதை ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று, இயேசு அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். ஆனால் அவர் சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று எவ்வளவு அதிகமாய்ச் சொன்னாரோ, அவ்வளவு அதிகமாய் அந்தச் செய்தியை அவர்கள் பரப்பினார்கள்.
37 And they were exceedingly astonished, saying, He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf to hear, and the mute to speak.
மக்களோ வியப்படைந்து மலைத்துப்போனார்கள். அவர்கள், “இயேசு எல்லாவற்றையும் நன்றாகச் செய்தார்; அவர் செவிடர்களைக் கேட்கவும், ஊமையர்களைப் பேசவும் செய்கிறாரே” என்றார்கள்.
