Luke 22
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread was coming near, which is called Passover.
Es nahte aber das Fest der Ungesäuerten, das Passah heißt.
2 And the chief priests and the scholars sought how they might kill him, for they feared the people.
Und die hohen Priester und Schriftgelehrten suchten, wie sie ihn umbrächten, denn sie fürchteten das Volk.
3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Es fuhr aber Satan in Judas, genannt Ischariot, der einer aus der Zahl der Zwölfe war.
4 And having departed, he conversed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him to them.
Und er ging hin, und redete mit den hohen Priestern und en Hauptleuten, wie er ihn ihnen überliefern wolle.
5 And they were glad, and agreed together to give him silver.
Und sie freuten sich, und wurden einig, ihm Geld zu geben.
6 And he consented and sought opportunity to betray him to them apart from the multitude.
Und er sagte zu, und suchte Gelegenheit, ihn ohne Auflauf ihnen zu überliefern.
7 And the day of unleavened bread came during which it was necessary to kill the Passover.
Es kam aber der Tag der Ungesäuerten, an welchem man das Passah schlachten mußte.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, After departing, prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.
Und er sandte Petrus und Johannes, und sprach: Gehet hin, und bereitet uns das Passah, daß wir es essen.
9 And they said to him, Where do thou want that we should prepare?
Sie aber sagten ihm: Wo willst du, daß wir es bereiten?
10 And he said to them, Behold, having entered into the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house where he enters.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Siehe, wenn ihr hineinkommt in die Stadt, wird euch ein Mensch begegnen, der einen Wasserkrug trägt, folget ihm in das Haus, in das er geht.
11 And ye shall say to the house-ruler, The teacher says to thee, Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?
Und ihr sollt sagen zu dem Hausherrn jenes Hauses: Der Lehrer sagt dir: Wo ist die Stätte, wo ich das Passah mit meinen Jüngern essen kann?
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished. Prepare there.
Und derselbige wird euch einen großen, mit Polstern belegten Saal zeigen; daselbst macht bereit.
13 And having gone, they found just as he said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
Als sie aber hingingen, fanden sie es, wie er ihnen gesagt hatte, und sie machten das Passah bereit.
14 And when the hour came, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
Und da die Stunde kam, lag er zu Tische, und die zwölf Apostel mit ihm.
15 And he said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before my suffering.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Mich hat herzlich verlangt, dies Passah mit euch zu essen, ehe denn ich leide.
16 For I say to you, that I will eat of it no more, no, not till when it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Denn ich sage euch, daß ich nicht mehr von demselben essen werde, bis es erfüllt wird in der Gottesherrschaft.
17 And having taken a cup, having expressed thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves.
Und er nahm einen Kelch, sprach das Dankgebet, und sagte: Nehmet diesen, und teilet ihn unter euch,
18 For I say to you, that I will, no, not drink from the fruit of the grapevine till when the kingdom of God comes.
Denn ich sage euch, daß ich nicht mehr trinken werde von dem Gewächs des Weinstockes, bis daß die Gottesherrschaft kommt.
19 And after taking bread, having expressed thanks, he broke in pieces, and gave to them, saying, This is my body that is given for you. Do ye this in my memory.
Und er nahm Brot, sprach das Dankgebet, brach, und gab es seinen Jüngern, und sprach: Dies ist mein Leib, der für euch hingegeben wird. Das tut zu meinem Gedächtnis.
20 Likewise also the cup after dining, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood being shed for you.
Desgleichen auch den Kelch nach dem Abendmahl, und sprach: Dieser Kelch ist der neue Bund in meinem Blute, das für euch vergossen wird.
21 Nevertheless behold, the hand of the man who betrays me is with me on the table.
Doch siehe, die Hand meines Verräters ist mit mir auf dem Tische.
22 And the Son of man indeed goes according to that which has been determined, nevertheless woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!
Zwar der Menschensohn geht dahin, wie es bestimmt ist, doch wehe jenem Menschen, durch welchen er verraten wird.
23 And they began to question among themselves who then of them would be going do this thing.
Und sie fingen an sich untereinander zu befragen, wer es doch wäre von ihnen, der das tun würde?
24 And also a dispute develop among them, which of them is considered to be greater.
Es entstund aber auch ein Streit unter ihnen, wer von ihnen für den Größern zu halten sei.
25 And he said to them, The kings of the Gentiles have dominion over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called Benefactors.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Die Könige der Heiden herrschen über sie, und ihre Gewalthaber nennt man gnädige Herrn.
26 But ye are not this way. Rather, the greater among you, shall become as the newer, and he who leads, as he who serves.
Ihr aber nicht also; sondern der Größere bei euch, der werde wie der Jüngere, und Der Vornehmste wie der Dienende.
27 For who ranks higher, he who sits dining, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits dining? But I am in the midst of you as he who serves.
Denn wer ist größer, der zu Tische liegt, oder der bedient? Ist es nicht der zu Tische Liegende? Ich aber bin in eurer Mitte wie der Dienende.
28 But ye are those who have continued with me in my trials.
Ihr aber seid es, die mit mir ausgeharrt haben in meinen Versuchungen,
29 And I appoint to you, just as my Father appointed to me a kingdom,
Und ich vermache euch, gleichwie mein Vater mir vermacht hat, eine Königsherrschaft,
30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Daß ihr esset und trinket an meinem Tische in meiner Königsherrschaft, und sitzen sollt auf Thronen, und richten die zwölf Stämme Israels.
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you to sift you as wheat,
Es sprach aber der Herr: Simon, Simon, siehe der Satan hat verlangt, euch zu sichten, wie den Weizen.
32 but I prayed for thee, so that thy faith may not fail. And thou, when thou have returned, strengthen thy brothers.
Ich aber habe für dich gebetet, daß dein Glaube nicht aufhöre; und wenn du einst zurückgekehrt bist, so befestige deine Brüder.
33 And he said to him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee both to prison and to death.
Er aber sprach zu ihm: Herr, mit dir bin ich bereit ins Gefängnis und in den Tod zu gehen.
34 And he said, I say to thee, Peter, a cock will, no, not sound today, before thou will thrice deny that thou know me.
Er aber sprach: Ich sage dir, Petrus: Der Hahn wird heute nicht krähen, ehe du dreimal verleugnet hast, daß du mich kennest.
35 And he said to them, When I sent you without bag and pouch and shoes, did ye lack anything? And they said, Nothing.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Als ich euch aussandte ohne Beutel und Tasche und Schuhe, habt ihr an etwas Mangel gehabt? Sie aber sprachen: An nichts.
36 Then he said to them, But now, he who has a bag, let him take it, and likewise a pouch. And he who has no sword, let him sell his cloak and buy.
Nun sprach er zu ihnen: Aber jetzt, wer einen Beutel hat, der nehme ihn, und ebenso auch die Tasche, und wer nicht hat, der verkaufe sein Kleid, und kaufe ein Schwert.
37 For I say to you, that this that is written is still necessary to be completed in me, And he was counted with lawless men, for these things about me also have fulfillment.
Denn ich sage euch, daß noch dieses, was geschrieben ist, an mir erfüllt werden muß, nämlich: "Und er ist unter die Übeltäter gerechnet." Denn was von mir geschrieben ist, geht auch in Erfüllung.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough.
Sie aber sprachen: Herr, siehe, hier sind zwei Schwerter. Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Es ist genug!
39 And having come out, he proceeded according to his habit to the mount of Olives, and his disciples also followed him.
Und er ging hinaus, und begab sich nach seiner Gewohnheit an den Ölberg; es folgten ihm aber auch seine Jünger.
40 And when he came at the place, he said to them, Pray ye not to enter into temptation.
Als er aber an den Ort gekommen war, sprach er zu ihnen: Betet, damit ihr nicht in Versuchung fallet.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw. And he knelt down and prayed,
Und er entfernte sich von ihnen etwa einen Steinwurf weit, und fiel auf die Kniee, und betete,
42 saying, Father, if thou want, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done.
Und sprach: Vater, willst du diesen Kelch an mir vorübergehen lassen? Doch nicht mein Wille, sondern der deinige geschehe!
43 And an agent from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
Es erschien ihm aber ein Engel vom Himmel, der ihn stärkte.
44 And having become in agony he prayed more intensely, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Und in schwerem Kampfe betete er inbrünstiger. Es ward aber sein Schweiß wie auf die Erde fallende Blutstropfen.
45 And after rising up from his prayer, having come to the disciples, he found them sleeping from sorrow.
Und er stund auf vom Gebet, und kam zu seinen Jüngern, und fand sie schlafend vor Traurigkeit.
46 And said to them, Why sleep ye? Having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Warum schlafet ihr? Stehet auf, und betet damit ihr nicht in Versuchung kommet.
47 While he yet spoke, behold, a multitude, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them. And he came near to Jesus to kiss him.
Als er aber noch redete, siehe, da kam ein Volkshaufe; und der Judas heißt, einer von den Zwölfen, ging vor ihnen her, und nahte sich Jesus, ihn zu küssen.
48 But Jesus said to him, Judas, thou betray the Son of man with a kiss?
Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Judas, mit einem Kusse verrätst du den Menschensohn?
49 And when those who were around him saw what would be, they said, Lord, shall we strike with the sword?
Da aber, die um ihn waren, sahen, was werden wollte, sprachen sie zu ihm: Herr, sollen wir mit dem Schwert dreinhauen?
50 And a certain one of them struck the bondman of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
Und es hieb einer von ihnen den Knecht des Hohenpriesters, und schlug ihm sein rechtes Ohr ab.
51 But having answered, Jesus said, Allow ye as far as this. And having touched his ear, he healed him.
Jesus aber antwortete, und sprach: Lasset mich so lange! und rührte sein Ohr an, und heilte ihn.
52 And Jesus said to the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, who came to him, Have ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
Jesus aber sprach zu den gegen ihn gekommenen hohen Priestern und Hauptleuten des Tempels und Ältesten: Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr aufgezogen, mit Schwertern und mit Knütteln.
53 When I was with you daily in the temple, ye did not stretch forth hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
Täglich war ich bei euch in dem Tempel, da habt ihr die Hände nicht gegen mich ausgestreckt. Aber dies ist eure Stunde und die Macht der Finsternis.
54 And having seized him, they led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed from afar.
Da sie ihn aber gefangen hatten, führten sie ihn ab, und hin in das Haus des Hohenpriesters. Petrus aber folgte nach von ferne.
55 And having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter sat in the midst of them.
Sie hatten aber ein Feuer angezündet im Hofe, und sich darum gesetzt, und Petrus setzte sich unter sie.
56 But a certain servant girl having seen him sitting near the light, and having looked intently upon him, she said, This man was also with him.
Als ihn aber eine Magd am Feuer sitzen sah, betrachtete sie ihn, und sprach: Dieser war auch mit ihm.
57 But he denied him, saying, Woman, I do not know him.
Er aber verleugnete ihn, und sprach: Weib, ich kenne ihn nicht.
58 And after a little while, another man having see him, said, Thou also are from them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
Und bald darauf sah ihn ein anderer, und sprach: Auch du bist einer von ihnen. Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich bin es nicht,
59 And about one hour having passed, some other man insisted, saying, In truth this man was also with him, for he is also a Galilean.
Und nachdem etwa eine Stunde verflossen war, bekräftigte es ein anderer, und sprach: In Wahrheit, dieser war auch mit ihm, denn er ist auch ein Galiläer.
60 And Peter said, Man, I do not know what thou are saying. And immediately, while he still spoke, a cock sounded.
Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich weiß nicht, was du sagst. Und sogleich, als er noch redete, krähte der Hahn.
61 And having turned, the Lord looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him, Before a cock sounds thou will deny me thrice.
Und der Herr wandte sich um, und blickte Petrus an, und Petrus erinnerte sich des Wortes des Herrn, wie er ihm gesagt hatte: Ehe der Hahn kräht. wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen.
62 And having gone outside, Peter wept bitterly.
Und er ging hinaus, und weinte bitterlich.
63 And the men who held Jesus mocked him, while striking him.
Und die Männer, welche Jesus festhielten, verspotteten und schlugen ihn.
64 And having covered him, they struck his face, and demanded him, saying, Prophesy! Who is he who struck thee?
Und sie verhüllten ihn, schlugen ihn ins Angesicht, und frugen ihn, und sagten: Weissage uns, wer ist´s, der dich schlug.
65 And they spoke many other things against him, railing against him.
Und viele andere Lästerungen sagten sie wider ihn.
66 And when it became day, the eldership of the people, the chief priests, and the scholars, came together, and led him into their council, saying,
Und als es Tag ward, da versammelte sich das Ältestenkollegium des Volkes, die hohen Priester und Schriftgelehrten, und führten ihn vor ihren hohen Rat,
67 If thou are the Christ, tell us. And he said to them, If I tell you, ye will not believe,
Und sprachen: Bist du der Messias? sage es uns. Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wenn ich es euch sagte, so würdet ihr doch nicht glauben.
68 and if I also ask, ye will, no, not answer nor release.
Wenn ich aber euch fragte, so würdet ihr doch nicht antworten, noch mich loslassen.
69 From henceforth the Son of man will be sitting at the right hand of the power of God.
Von nun an aber wird der Menschensohn sitzen zur Rechten der Kraft Gottes.
70 And they all said, Therefore thou are the Son of God? And he said to them, Ye say that I am.
Sie sprachen aber alle: So bist du denn Gottes Sohn? Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr saget es, denn ich bin´s.
71 And they said, What further need have we of testimony? For we have heard from his mouth.
Sie aber sprachen: Was haben wir noch Zeugnis nötig? Denn wir haben es selbst gehört aus seinem Munde.
