Leviticus 18
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, I am Jehovah your God.
Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
3 Ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Egypt, in which ye dwelt, and ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, nor shall ye walk in their statutes.
Não fareis segundo as obras da terra do Egito, em que habitastes, nem fareis segundo as obras da terra de Canaan, na qual eu vos meto, nem andareis nos seus estatutos.
4 Ye shall do my ordinances, and ye shall keep my statutes, to walk therein. I am Jehovah your God.
Fareis conforme aos meus juízos, e os meus estatutos guardareis, para andardes neles: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus,
5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Jehovah.
Portanto os meus estatutos e os meus juízos guardareis; os quais, fazendo o homem, viverá por eles: Eu sou o Senhor.
6 None of you shall approach to any who are near of kin to him, to uncover nakedness. I am Jehovah.
Nenhum homem se chegará a qualquer parenta da sua carne, para descobrir a sua nudez: Eu sou o Senhor.
7 The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, thou shall not uncover. She is thy mother. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness,
Não descobrirás a nudez de tua mãe: ela é tua mãe; não descobrirás a sua nudez.
8 the nakedness of thy father's wife. It is thy father's nakedness.
Não descobrirás a nudez da mulher de teu pai.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover.
A nudez de tua irmã, filha de teu pai, ou filha de tua mãe, nascida em casa, ou fora da casa, a sua nudez não descobrirás.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover, for theirs is thine own nakedness.
A nudez da filha do teu filho, ou da filha de tua filha, a sua nudez não descobrirás: porque ela é tua nudez.
11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shall not uncover her nakedness.
A nudez da filha da mulher de teu pai, gerada de teu pai (ela é tua irmã), a sua nudez não descobrirás.
12 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister. She is thy father's near kinswoman.
A nudez da irmã de teu pai não descobrirás; ela é parenta de teu pai
13 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
A nudez da irmã de tua mãe não descobrirás; pois ela é parenta de tua mãe.
14 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother. Thou shall not approach to his wife. She is thine aunt.
A nudez do irmão de teu pai não descobrirás; não chegarás à sua mulher; ela é tua tia.
15 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law. She is thy son's wife. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness.
A nudez de tua nora não descobrirás: ela é mulher de teu filho: não descobrirás a sua nudez.
16 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife. It is thy brother's nakedness.
A nudez da mulher de teu irmão não descobrirás; é a nudez de teu irmão.
17 Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. Thou shall not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is iniquity.
A nudez de uma mulher e de sua filha não descobrirás: não tomarás a filha de seu filho, nem a filha de sua filha, para descobrir a sua nudez; parentas são: maldade é.
18 And thou shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.
E não tomarás uma mulher com sua irmã, para afligi-la, descobrindo a sua nudez com ela na sua vida.
19 And thou shall not approach to a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
E não chegarás à mulher durante a separação da sua imundícia, para descobrir a sua nudez,
20 And thou shall not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.
Nem te deitarás com a mulher de teu próximo para copula de semente, para te contaminar com ela.
21 And thou shall not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall thou profane the name of thy God. I am Jehovah.
E da tua semente não darás para fazer passar pelo fogo perante Molech; e não profanarás o nome de teu Deus: Eu sou o Senhor.
22 Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind. It is abomination.
Com macho te não deitarás, como se fosse mulher: abominação é;
23 And thou shall not lie with any beast to defile thyself with it, nor shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down with it. It is a perversion.
Nem te deitarás com um animal, para te não contaminar com ele: nem a mulher se porá perante um animal, para ajuntar-se com ele; confusão é.
24 Do not defile ye yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you,
Com nenhuma destas coisas vos contamineis: porque em todas estas coisas se contaminaram as gentes que eu lanço fora de diante da vossa face.
25 and the land is defiled. Therefore I visit the iniquity of it upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.
Pelo que a terra está contaminada; e eu visitarei sobre ela a sua iniquidade, e a terra vomitará os seus moradores.
26 Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourns among you,
Porém vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os meus juízos, e nenhuma destas abominações fareis, nem o natural, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós
27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and the land is defiled),
Porque todas estas abominações fizeram os homens desta terra, que nela estavam antes de vós; e a terra foi contaminada.
28 that the land not vomit you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
Para que a terra vos não vomite, havendo-a contaminado, como vomitou a gente que nela estava antes de vós.
29 For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
Porém, qualquer que fizer alguma destas abominações, as almas que as fizeram serão extirpadas do seu povo.
30 Therefore ye shall keep my charge, that ye not practice any of these abominable customs, which were practiced before you, and that ye not defile yourselves in it. I am Jehovah your God.
Portanto guardareis o meu mandado, não fazendo nenhum dos estatutos abomináveis que se fizeram antes de vós, e não vos contamineis com eles: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
