Leviticus 11
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
ヱホバ、モーセとアロンに告てこれに言給はく
2 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
イスラエルの子孫に告て言へ地の諸の獣畜の中汝らが食ふべき四足は是なり
3 Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that may ye eat.
凡て獣畜の中蹄の分たる者すなはち蹄の全く分たる反芻者は汝等これを食ふべし
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those that part the hoof: the camel, because he chews the cud but does not part the hoof, he is unclean to you.
但し反芻者と蹄の分たる者の中汝等の食ふべからざる者は是なり即ち駱駝是は反芻ども蹄わかれざれば汝等には汚たる者なり
5 And the coney, because he chews the cud but does not part the hoof, he is unclean to you.
山鼠是は反芻ども蹄わかれざれば汝等には汚たる者なり
6 And the hare, because she chews the cud but does not part the hoof, she is unclean to you.
兎是は反芻ども蹄わかれざれば汝等には汚たる者なり
7 And the swine, because he parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, but does not chew the cud, he is unclean to you.
猪是は蹄あひ分れ蹄まったく分るれども反芻ことをせざれば汝等には汚たる者なり
8 Of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcasses ye shall not touch, they are unclean to you.
汝等是等の者の肉を食ふべからずまたその死體にさはるべからず是等は汝等には汚たる者なり
9 These may ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that may ye eat.
水にある諸の族の中汝等の食ふべき者は是なり凡て水の中にをり海河に居る者にして翅と鱗のある者は汝等これを食ふべし
10 And all that have no fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you,
凡て水に動く者凡て水に生る者即ち凡て海河にある者にして翅と鱗なき者は是汝等には忌はしき者なり
11 and they shall be an abomination to you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses ye shall have in abomination.
是等は汝等には忌はしき者なり汝等その肉を食ふべからずまたその死體をば忌はしき者となすべし
12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that is an abomination to you.
凡て水にありて翅も鱗もなき者は汝等には忌はしき者たるべし
13 And these ye shall have in abomination among the birds, they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the osprey,
鳥の中に汝等が忌はしとすべき者は是なり是をば食ふべからず是は忌はしき者なり即ち鵰黄鷹鳶
14 and the kite, and the falcon after its kind,
鸇鷹の類
15 every raven after its kind,
諸の鴉の類
16 and the ostrich, and the night-hawk, and the sea-gull, and the hawk after its kind,
駝鳥梟鴎雀鷹の類
17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
鶴鵜鷺
18 and the horned owl, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture,
白鳥鸅鸕大鷹
19 and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.

20 All winged creeping things that go upon all fours are an abomination to you.
また凡て羽翼のありて四爬にあるくところの昆蟲は汝等には忌はしき者なり
21 Yet these ye may eat of all winged creeping things that go upon all fours, which have legs above their feet, with which to leap upon the earth,
但し羽翼のありて四爬にあるく諸の昆蟲の中その足に飛腿のありて地に飛ぶものは汝等これを食ふことを得べし
22 even these of them ye may eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.
即ちその中蝗蟲の類大蜢の類小蜢の類螇蚸の類を汝等食ふことを得べし
23 But all winged creeping things, which have four feet, are an abomination to you,
凡て羽翼ありて四爬にあるくところの昆蟲はみな汝等には忌はしき者たるなり
24 and by these ye shall become unclean. Whoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening.
これ等はなんぢらを汚すなり凡て是等の者の死體に捫る者は晩まで汚るべし
25 And whoever bears any of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
凡てその死體を身に携ふる者はその衣服を洗ふべしその身は晩まで汚るるなり
26 Every beast which parts the hoof, and is not cloven footed, nor chews the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
凡そ蹄の分れたる獣畜の中その蹄の全く分れざる者あるひは反芻ことをせざる者の死體は汝等には汚穢たるべし凡てこれに捫る者は汚るべし
27 And whatever goes upon its paws, among all beasts that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
四足にてあるく諸の獣畜の中その掌底にて歩む者は皆汝等には汚穢たるべしその死骸に捫る者は晩まで汚るべし
28 And he who bears the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.
その死體を身に携ふる者はその衣服を洗ふべしその身は晩まで汚るるなり是等は汝等には汚たる者なり
29 And these are those which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard after its kind,
地に匍ところの匍行者の中汝等に汚穢となる者は是なり即ち鼬鼠鼫鼠大蜥蜴の類
30 and the gecko, and the land-crocodile, and the lizard, and the sand-lizard, and the chameleon.
蛤蚧龍子守宮蛇醫蝘蜓
31 These are those which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening.
諸の匍者の中是等は汝等には汚穢たるなり凡てその死たるに捫る者は晩まで汚るべし
32 And upon whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean, whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack. Whatever vessel it be, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening, then it shall be clean.
是等の者の死て上に墜たる物は何にもあれ汚るべし木の器具にもあれ衣服にもあれ皮革にもあれ嚢袋にもあれ凡そ事に用ふる器は皆これを水にいるべし是は晩まで汚穢ん斯せば是は清まるべし
33 And every earthen vessel, into which any of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and ye shall break it.
また是等の中の者瓦の器におつればその内にある者みな汚るべし汝らその器を毀つべきなり
34 All food therein which may be eaten, that on which water comes, shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
また水の入たる食ふべき食物も是等によりて汚るべく諸般の器にある飮べき飮物も是等に由て汚るべし
35 And everything upon which any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean, whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces; they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
是等の者の死體物の上に堕ればその物都て汚るべし爐にもあれ土鍋にもあれ之を毀つべきなり是は汚れて汝等には汚れたる者となればなり
36 Nevertheless a fountain or a pit in which is a gathering of water shall be clean, but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
然ど泉水あるひは塘池水の潴は汚るること無し唯その死體に觸る者汚るべし
37 And if any of their carcass falls upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
是等の者の死體は播べき種の上に堕るも其は汚るることなし
38 But if water is put upon the seed, and any of their carcass falls in it, it is unclean to you.
然ど種の上に水のかかれる時にその死體上に堕なば其は汝等には汚たるべし
39 And if any beast, of which ye may eat, dies, he who touches the carcass of it shall be unclean until the evening.
汝等が食ふところの獣畜の死たる時はその死體に捫る者は晩まで汚るべし
40 And he who eats of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who bears the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
その死體を食ふ者はその衣服を濯ふべし其身は晩まで汚るるなりその死體を携ふる者もその衣服を洗ふべしその身は晩まで汚るるなり
41 And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
地の上に匍ところの諸の匍行物は忌べき者なり食ふべからず
42 Whatever goes upon the belly, and whatever goes upon all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat, for they are an abomination.
即ち地に匍ところの諸の匍行物の中凡て腹ばひ行く者四足にて歩く者ならびに多の足を有つ者是等をば汝等食ふべからず是等は忌べき者たるなり
43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, nor shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled by it.
汝等は匍ところの匍行物のためにその身を忌はしき者にするなかれ是等をもてその身を汚すなかれ又是等に汚さるるなかれ
44 For I am Jehovah your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and become ye holy, since I am holy. Neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that moves upon the earth.
我は汝等の神ヱホバなれば汝等その身を聖潔せよ然ば汝等聖者とならん我聖ければなり汝等は必ず地に匍ところの匍行者をもてその身を汚すことをせざれ
45 For I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
我は汝等の神とならんとて汝等をエジプトの國より導きいだせしヱホバなり我聖ければ汝等聖潔なるべし
46 This is the law of the beast, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps upon the earth,
是すなはち獣畜と鳥と水に動く諸の生物と地に匍ふ諸の匍行物にかかはるところの例にして
47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.
汚たる者と潔き者とを分ち食るる生物と食はれざる生物とを分つ者なり
