< John 18 >

1 After speaking these things, Jesus went forth with his disciples on the other side of the brook Kidron, where there was a garden into which he entered, he and his disciples.
I'see manva uvhuyle qiyğa telebabışika sacigee Qidronne q'adaaline manisa suralqa ılğeç'e. Maa sa bağ eyxhe. I'sayiy telebabı maqa ikkeebaç'e.
2 Now Judas, the man betraying him, had also known the place, because Jesus also often gathered there with his disciples.
I'sa hımva eyhesse telebabışika maqa arayle ıxha. I'sa merıng'une xılyaqa qelesde Yahudayk'led mançil-alla man ciga ats'anniy.
3 Judas therefore having received the band and subordinates from the chief priests and the Pharisees, comes there with lanterns and torches and weapons.
Məxür Yahuda maqa sa deste eskeraaşika, sayib kaahinaaşine ç'ak'ınbışeyiy fariseyaaşe g'axuvuyne g'aravulyçeeşika arayle. Manbışde xıle bazirbı, ts'abı, silahbı eyxhe.
4 Jesus therefore knowing all the things that were coming upon him, after going forth, he says to them, Whom seek ye?
I'sayk'le vuk'lelqa qalesın ats'ava, Mana ögilqa qığeç'u, manbışike qiyghan: – Vuşune t'abala'a?
5 They answered him, Jesus the Nazarene. Jesus says to them, I am he. And Judas, the man betraying him had also stood with them.
Mang'us alidghıniy qele: – Nazaretğançena I'sa. I'see manbışik'le eyhen: – Zı vorna. Mana merıng'une xılyaqa qelena Yahudar manbışika ıxha.
6 When therefore he said to them, I am he, they went backward and fell to the ground.
I'see manbışik'le «Zı vornava» uvhumee, manbı yı'q'əlqa qeepxha, ç'iyelqa gizyabaççe.
7 Again therefore he questioned them, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus the Nazarene.
I'see meed manbışike qiyghanan: – Vuşune t'abal ha'a? Manbışe eyhen: – Nazaretğançena I'sa.
8 Jesus answered, I told you that I am. If therefore ye seek me, allow these men to go,
I'see alidghıniy qele: – Zı şok'le uvhuyn, Zı vornava. Zı t'abal ha'axhee, Zakanbı g'avkke, hudooracen.
9 so that the word that he spoke might be fulfilled, Of whom thou have given me, I lost, no, not one of them.
I'see ögil uvhuyn cuvab ixhecenva, man eyxhe. Mang'vee ögilycadniy uvhu: «Zas huvuynbışda nenacar agvales harsıl deş».
10 Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's bondman, and cut off his right ear. Now the servant's name was Malchus.
Şimon-Pyoturuqa g'ılınc ıxha. Man qığayşu xənne kaahinne nukarıle k'ena ı'xı', mang'un sağın k'ırı g'a'adaççen. Mane nukarın do Malx ıxha.
11 Jesus therefore said to Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath. The cup that the Father has given me, shall I, no, not drink it?
Manke I'see Pyoturık'le eyhen: – G'ılınc cigeeqa gixhxhe! Dekkee Zas huvuyn əq'übayn k'ola ulymoğane?
12 So the band, and the chief captain, and the subordinates of the Jews, arrested Jesus and bound him,
Məxür eskeraaşeyiy desteyne xərıng'vee Yahudeeşine g'aravulyçeeşika sacigee I'sa aqqı, g'el-xıl iyt'alan.
13 and led him away first to Annas. For he was father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
Mana ts'erre Hannanne k'anyaqa qıkkekka. Hannan Kayafayna abattey ıxha. Mane sen Kayafa xərna kaahiniy vor.
14 Now Caiaphas was the man who counseled the Jews that it was expedient for one man to die on behalf of the people.
«Milletnemee sa İnsanın qik'uy yugdava» Yahudeeşine ç'ak'ınbışik'le uvhuna Kayafa ina vuc vor.
15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, also the other disciple. But that disciple was known to the high priest, and he went in with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.
Şimon-Pyoturiy sa merna teleba I'sayne qihna əlyhəə vuxha. Xərne kaahinık'le mana teleba ats'ava, mana I'sayka sacigee xərne kaahinne məhleeqa ikkeç'e.
16 But Peter had stood near the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper and brought in Peter.
Pyoturmee g'ar akkayne k'ane ulyorzul ıxha. Mane gahıl xərne kaahinık'le ats'ana mana teleba g'aqa qığeç'u akkee ileezarne içiyka yuşan hı'ı, Pyotur aqa akkyayhe.
17 Therefore the servant girl (the doorkeeper) says to Peter, Are thou not also of this man's disciples? That man says, I am not.
Akkee ileezarne içee Pyoturuke qiyghanan: – Deşxhee, ğunar mane İnsanne telebabışkenane vor? Pyoturee «De'eşva» eyhe.
18 Now the bondmen and the subordinates had stood, having made a fire of coals because it was cold, and they were warming themselves. And Peter was also standing with them warming himself.
Mık'adava nukaraaşeyiy g'aravulyçeeşe maa'ab ts'a halyaqqı, hiqiy-alla ulyobzur g'ümə abak'a vuxha. Pyoturur manbışde k'ane ulyorzul g'ümə arak'va ıxha.
19 The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples, and about his doctrine.
Mane gahıl Hannanee, kaahinaaşine ç'ak'ınbışde sang'vee, I'sayke telebabışdeyiy Vucee xət qa'ançine hək'ee qiyghan.
20 Jesus answered him, I spoke in public to the world. I always taught in a synagogue, and in the temple where the Jews always gather together, and I spoke nothing in secret.
I'see mang'us alidghıniy qele: – Zı dyunyeyk'le dyugul hidi'ı uvhu, Yahudeeşin gırgınbı sabıyne sinagogbışeeyiy Allahne Xaasne xət qı'ı. Vuççud Zı dyugulenda uvhu deş.
21 Why question thou me? Question those who have heard what I said to them. Behold, these know the things that I said.
Nya'a Zake qiyghan? Zı uvhuyn g'ayxhiyne insanaaşike qiyghne. Manbışik'le Zı uvhuyn karbı ats'anbı.
22 And when he said these things, one of the subordinates standing by gave a slap to Jesus, saying, Answer thou the high priest this way?
I'sa cuvab uvhu ç'əvxhayle qiyğa, maa ulyobzurne g'aravulyçeeşine sang'vee Mang'une aq'vays ı'xiyxə. G'aravulyçee qiyghanan: – Xərne kaahinıs məxüdne cuvab qelen?
23 Jesus answered him, If I spoke wrongly, testify about the wrong, but if correctly, why strike me?
I'see mang'us alidghıniy qele: – Zı qorkura yuşan hidi'ıxhee, eyhe, neniy qotkuda ittevhu? Qotkuda uvhuxheeyid, nya'a Zas ı'xiyxə?
24 Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
Qiyğa Hannanee I'sa g'el-xıl ayt'ılcar, xənne kaahinne Kayafayne k'anyaqa g'ıxele.
25 Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Therefore they said to him, Are thou not also of his disciples? That man therefore denied, and said, I am not.
Şimon-Pyotur g'ar ts'ayisnee ulyorzul g'ümə arak'va ıxha. Mang'uke qiyghanan: – Deşxheene, ğunar Mang'une telebabışdane vor? Mang'vee «De'eşva» alidghıniy qele.
26 One of the bondmen of the high priest, being a kinsman of him whose ear Peter cut off, says, Did I not see thee in the garden with him?
Xərne kaahinne nukaraaşina sa, Pyoturee ı'xı' k'ırı g'a'aççuyne insanna xını, maa'ar ıxha. Mane nukaree Pyoturuke qiyghan: – Mang'uka sacigee zak'le ğu dişdiy bağee g'acu?
27 Peter therefore denied again, and straightaway a cock sounded.
Pyoturee meed gardanaqa alyaat'a deş. Mane gahıl dadal hook'a.
28 They lead Jesus therefore from Caiaphas to the Praetorium. And it was early, and they did not enter into the Praetorium, so that they would not be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.
Qiyğa Yahudeeşine ç'ak'ınbışe I'sa Kayafayne k'anençe Pilatne sarayeeqa qıkkekka. Miç'eed qexhe. Allahne ögil mı'q'ı' qimeebaxhecenva, Peesaxıne otxhuniyked oxhanas əxecenva, manbı co sarayeeqa ikkeebaç'e deş.
29 Pilate therefore went out to them, and said, What accusation do ye bring against this man?
Mançil-allar Pilat g'aqa manbışde k'anyaqa qığeç'u, eyhen: – Nena bınahne İng'ulqa g'iviyxhe?
30 They answered and said to him, If this man were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered him up to thee.
Manbışe Pilatıs alidghıniy qele: – Mang'ul bınah devxhaynxhiy, Mana vasqa qeles deşdiy.
31 Pilate therefore said to them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said to him, It is not permitted for us to kill any man,
Pilatee manbışik'le eyhen: – Mana şosqa alyart'u, vuşde q'aanunbışis sik'ı Mang'us cazaa g'ats'aak'vne. Yahudeeşine ç'ak'ınbışe Pilatık'le eyhen: – Şaqa vuşumecar gik'asda icaaza deşda.
32 so that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled that he spoke, signifying what kind of death he was going to die.
Məxüd I'see Vuc nəxüriy q'ik'asva uvhuyn ixhecenva eyxhe.
33 Pilate therefore again entered into the Praetorium, and called Jesus, and said to him, Are thou the king of the Jews?
Pilat meer cune sarayeeqa ikkeç'u, I'sa qort'ul eyhen: – Yahudeeşina Paççah Ğune?
34 Jesus answered, Do thou say this of thyself, or did others tell thee about me?
I'see alidghıniy qele: – Ğu man valed-alqanane eyhe, deşxhee mebınbışene vak'le Yizde hək'ee uvhu?
35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests delivered thee to me. What have thou done?
Pilatee eyhen: – Zı Yahudeençe deş vor. Ğu yizde xılyaqa yiğne milletıniy kaahinaaşine ç'ak'ınbışe quvu. Eyhe, Ğu hucooyiy hı'ı?
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world my subordinates would have fought so that I would not be delivered to the Jews, but now my kingdom is not from here.
I'see mang'us alidghıniy qele: – Yizda Paççahiyvalla ine dyunyeykena deş vob. Yizda Paççahiyvalla ine dyunyeykena vuxhanaxhiy, Yizde yəqqı'linbı Yahudeeşine ç'ak'ınbışde xılyaqa qımelecenva saç'ivkasınbıniy. Yizda Paççahiyvallame inçena deş vob.
37 Pilate therefore said to him, Then thou are a king? Jesus answered, Thou say that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I would testify to the truth. Every man who is of the truth hears my voice.
Pilatee Mang'uk'le eyhen: – Ğu manke Paççahne? I'see alidghıniy qele: – Ğu qotkuda eyhe. Zı hək'ene karbışda şahaadat haa'asva uxu, ine dyunyelqa qarı. Vuşuyiy hək'ene sural Zal k'ırı alixhxhesın.
38 Pilate says to him, What is truth? And having said this, he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, I find not one cause in him.
Pilatee Mang'uke qiyghan: – Hək'en sura vodunne? Man qiyghıniyle qiyğa, mana meer Yahudeeşisqa qığeç'u, manbışik'le eyhen: – Zak'le Mang'ul nəxbınacab bınah g'ooce deş.
39 But there is a custom for you that I should release to you one man at the Passover. Do ye wish therefore I would release to you the king of the Jews?
Şoqa ədat vod, Peesaxnang'a zı vuşdemee sa insan g'ekkan. Həşder şos ıkkanxhee, vuşdemee «Yahudeeşina Paççah» g'aykkas?
40 They all cried out again therefore, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. But Barabbas was a robber.
Manbışe alidghıniy qeleng'a, ts'irbı hı'ı eyhen: – Mana deş, Barabba g'aykke! Barabbamee g'uldur ıxha.
