< Job 42 >

1 Then Job answered Jehovah, and said,
Awo Yobu n’addamu Mukama nti,
2 I know that thou can do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be restrained.
“Mmanyi ng’oyinza okukola ebintu byonna, era tewali kyotegeka kyonna kiyinza kuziyizibwa.
3 Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
Wabuuza nti, ‘Ani ono aziyiza okuteesa kwange atalina magezi?’ Mazima ddala nayogera ebintu bye sitegeera, ebintu ebyassukirira okutegeera kwange.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak, I will ask of thee, and declare thou to me.
“Wulira nkwegayiridde, nange mbeeko kye nkubuuza, onziremu.
5 I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees thee.
Amatu gange gaali gaakuwulirako dda, naye kaakano amaaso gange gakulabye.
6 Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
Kyenvudde neenyooma era neenenyezza mu nfuufu ne mu vvu.”
7 And it was so, that, after Jehovah had spoken these words to Job, Jehovah said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends. For ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
Nga Mukama amaze okwogera ebigambo bino eri Yobu, n’agamba Erifaazi Omutemani nti, “Nkunyiigidde ggwe ne mikwano gyo ababiri; kubanga temwanjogerako bituufu, ng’omuddu wange Yobu bw’akoze.
8 Now therefore, take to you seven bullocks and seven rams. And go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for him I will accept, that I not deal with you after your folly. For ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
Noolwekyo kaakano mutwale ente ennume musanvu, n’endiga ennume musanvu, mugende eri omuddu wange Yobu, mweweereyo eyo ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa, n’omuddu wange Yobu ajja kubasabira, kubanga nzija kukkiriza okusaba kwe nneme okubakolako ng’obusirusiru bwammwe bwe buli. Kubanga temwanjogerako bituufu ng’omuddu wange bw’akoze.”
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did according as Jehovah commanded them, and Jehovah accepted Job.
Awo Erifaazi Omutemani, ne Birudaadi Omusuki, ne Zofali Omunaamasi ne bagenda ne bakola nga Mukama bwe yabalagira. Awo Mukama n’akkiriza okusaba kwa Yobu.
10 And Jehovah turned back the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. And Jehovah gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Awo Mukama n’aggyawo ennaku ya Yobu bwe yamala okusabira mikwano gye. Mukama n’awa Yobu ebintu emirundi ebiri okusinga bye yalina okusooka.
11 Then there came to him all his brothers, and all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, and ate bread with him in his house. And they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him. Each man also gave him a piece of money, and each one a ring of gold.
Awo baganda be bonna ne bannyina bonna ne bajja n’abo abaali bamumanyi okusooka, ne balya naye emmere mu nnyumba ye; ne bamusaasira ne bamukulisa okubonaabona kwonna Mukama kwe yakkiriza okumutuukako. Buli omu ku bo n’amuwaayo ffeeza nga bwe yasobola, n’empeta ya zaabu.
12 So Jehovah blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-donkeys.
Awo Mukama n’awa Yobu omukisa mu nnaku ze ezaasembayo n’okusinga entandikwa ye bwe yali: yafuna endiga omutwalo gumu mu enkumi nnya, n’eŋŋamira kakaaga, ne ziseddume z’ente lukumi, n’endogoyi enkazi lukumi.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Era Mukama n’amuwa n’abaana aboobulenzi musanvu, n’aboobuwala basatu.
14 And he called the name of the first, Jemimah, and the name of the second, Keziah, and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
Omuwala ow’olubereberye n’amutuuma Yemima, n’owokubiri n’amutuuma Keeziya, n’owookusatu n’amutuuma Keremukappuki, n’aboobulezi musanvu.
15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job. And their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.
Awo mu nsi yonna ne wataba bakazi balungi kwenkana bawala ba Yobu. Kitaabwe n’abawa omugabo ogw’ebintu ogwenkanankana ne gwe yawa bannyinaabwe abalenzi.
16 And after this Job lived a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
Oluvannyuma lw’ebyo, Yobu n’awangaala emyaka kikumi mu ana; n’alaba ku baana be ne ku bazzukulu be okutuuka ku bannakasatwe.
17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
N’oluvannyuma n’afa ng’akaddiyidde ddala ng’awezezza emyaka mingi.
