Job 33
1 However, Job, I pray thee, hear my speech, and hearken to all my words.
೧ಅದಿರಲಿ, ಯೋಬನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು.
2 Behold now, I have opened my mouth. My tongue has spoken in my mouth.
೨ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಬಾಯಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
3 My words shall utter the uprightness of my heart, and that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.
೩ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತ್ವವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ತಿಳಿಸುವವು, ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವವು.
4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
೪ನಾನು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಮಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದುಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
5 If thou can, answer thou me. Set thy words in order before me. Stand forth.
೫ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು, ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೂಡಿ ನಿಂತುಕೋ.
6 Behold, I am toward God even as thou are. I also am formed out of the clay.
೬ನೋಡು, ನಾನು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನೂ ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ರೂಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, nor shall my pressure be heavy upon thee.
೭ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಭೀತಿಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸಲಾರದು, ನನ್ನ ಒತ್ತಾಯವು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗಿರದು.
8 Surely thou have spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
೮ನಿನ್ನ ನುಡಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿದ್ದಿ,
9 I am clean, without transgression. I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me.
೯‘ನಾನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು, ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ನಿರ್ಮಲನು, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಪಾಪವಿಲ್ಲ.
10 Thou say, Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.
೧೦ಆಹಾ, ಆತನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
11 He puts my feet in the stocks. He marks all my paths.
೧೧ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.
12 Behold, I will answer thee. In this thou are not just, for God is greater than man.
೧೨ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನ್ಯಾಯವಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದೇ ನನ್ನ ಉತ್ತರ, ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನಷ್ಟೆ.
13 Why do thou strive against him because he does not give account of any of his matters?
೧೩ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸನೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ, ನೀನು ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವುದೇಕೆ?
14 For God speaks once, yea twice, though man does not regard it.
೧೪ದೇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ರೀತಿ ಒಂದುಂಟು ಹೌದು, ಎರಡೂ ಉಂಟು, ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೋ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed.
೧೫ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆಯು ಉಂಟಾದಾಗಲೂ, ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದಾಗ ಜೊಂಪುಹತ್ತಿದಾಗಲೂ ಆತನು ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ,
16 Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction
೧೬ಅವರ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಾವಚನವನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕುವನು.
17 that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
೧೭ಹೀಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ದುಷ್ಕಾರ್ಯದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು, ಮಾನವನಿಗೆ ಗರ್ವವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವನು.
18 He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
೧೮ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ತಡೆದು, ಅವನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ದೈವಾಸ್ತ್ರದಿಂದ ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವನು.
19 He also is chastened with pain upon his bed, and with continual strife in his bones,
೧೯ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ನೋವಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು.
20 so that his life abhors bread, and his soul dainty food.
೨೦ಅವನ ಜೀವವು ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುವುದು.
21 His flesh is consumed away that it cannot be seen. And his bones that were not seen stick out.
೨೧ಅವನ ಮಾಂಸವು ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿ ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು, ಕಾಣದಿದ್ದ ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಬಯಲಾಗುವವು.
22 Yea, his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers.
೨೨ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಅಧೋಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವುದು, ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಂಹಾರದೂತರಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗುವುದು.
23 If there be with him an agent, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him,
೨೩ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದೇವದೂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಬೇಡುವುದರಿಂದ,
24 then God is gracious to him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom.
೨೪ದೇವರು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ಈಡು ದೊರಕುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ‘ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು’ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ,
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's. He returns to the days of his youth.
೨೫ಅವನ ದೇಹವು ಬಾಲ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಕೋಮಲವಾಗುವುದು. ಅವನು ಪುನಃ ಎಳೆತನದ ಚೈತನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವನು.
26 He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy, and he restores to man his righteousness.
೨೬ಅವನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಒಲುಮೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರನಾಗಿ, ಆತನ ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಧ್ವನಿಗೈದು, ತಿರುಗಿ ಆತನಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಎನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
27 He sings before men, and says, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it did not profit me.
೨೭ಅವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು, ‘ನಾನು ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಆತನು ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
28 He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit, and my life shall behold the light.
೨೮ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಡುವನು.
29 Lo, all these things God works twice, yea thrice, with a man,
೨೯ದೇವರು ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ, ಹೌದು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುವನು.
30 to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.
೩೦ನೋಡು, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಅಧೋಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ, ಜೀವಲೋಕದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು
31 Mark well, O Job, hearken to me. Keep silent, and I will speak.
೩೧ಯೋಬನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಗಮನವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳು, ಮೌನವಾಗಿರು, ನಾನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು.
32 If thou have anything to say, answer me. Speak, for I desire to justify thee.
೩೨ನೀನು ಏನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು, ಮಾತನಾಡು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನನ್ನ ಆಶೆ.
33 If not, hearken thou to me. Keep silent, and I will teach thee.
೩೩ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರು, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು.”
