< Jeremiah 45 >
1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these word in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,
Daytoy ti sao nga imbaga ni Jeremias a profeta kenni Baruc a putot ni Nerias. Napasamak daytoy idi insurat ni Baruc dagitoy a sasao iti maysa a nalukot a pagsuratan bayat nga idikdikta ni Jeremias—daytoy ket idi maika-uppat a tawen a panagturay ni Jehoiakim a putot ni Josias kas ari ti Juda, a kunana,
2 Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel, to thee, O Baruch:
“Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel kenka, Baruc:
3 Thou said, Woe is me now! For Jehovah has added sorrow to my pain. I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.
Kinunam, 'Asiak pay, ta ninayunan ni Yahweh ti panagrigrigatko. Nabannogakon gapu iti panagas-asugko; awan iti inanak.'
4 Thus thou shall say to him, Thus says Jehovah: Behold, that which I have built I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, and this in the whole land.
Kastoy ti rumbeng nga ibagam kenkuana: 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: Kitaem, rebrebbaek itan ti imbangonko. Parparutek itan ti inmulak. Mapasamak daytoy iti entero a daga.
5 And do thou seek great things for thyself? Seek them not, for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, says Jehovah, but thy life I will give to thee for a prey in all places where thou go.
Ngem mangnamnamaka kadi iti nasasayaat a banbanag para iti bagim? Saanmo a namnamaen dayta. Ta dumngegka, um-umayen ti didigra iti amin a sangkataoan—daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh—ngem itedko kenka ti biagmo a kas banag a sinamsammo iti sadinoman a papanam.”'
