Jeremiah 15
1 Then Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not be toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
১তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই মোক ক’লে, “যদিও মোচি আৰু চমূৱেল মোৰ আগত থিয় হয়, তথাপি মোৰ মন এই জাতিলৈ সদয় নহ’ব; তুমি মোৰ আগৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক বিদায় কৰা, তেওঁলোক ওলাই গুচি যাওঁক।
2 And it shall come to pass, when they say to thee, Where shall we go forth? Then thou shall tell them, Thus says Jehovah: Such as are for death, to death, and such as are for the sword, to the sword, and such as are for the famine, to the famine, and such as are for captivity, to captivity.
২আৰু আমি ক’লৈ ওলাই যাম বুলি যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ক’ব, তেতিয়া তুমি তেওঁলোকক ক’বা, যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: মৃত্যুলৈ নিৰূপিত লোক মৃত্যুলৈ; তৰোৱাললৈ নিৰূপিত লোক তৰোৱাললৈ। আকাললৈ নিৰূপিত লোক আকাললৈ, বন্দী-অৱস্থালৈ নিৰূপিত লোক বন্দী-অৱস্থালৈ ওলাই যাওঁক।’
3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, says Jehovah: the sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and to destroy.
৩আৰু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰিবলৈ তৰোৱাল, ছিৰিবলৈ কুকুৰ, খাবলৈ আৰু বিনষ্ট কৰিবলৈ আকাশৰ পক্ষী আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ জন্তু, এই চাৰি বিধক মই তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত নিযুক্ত কৰিম।
4 And I will cause them to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
৪আৰু হিষ্কিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যিহূদাৰ ৰজা মনচিয়ে যিৰূচালেমত কৰা কাৰ্যৰ কাৰণে, পৃথিৱীৰ আটাই ৰাজ্যৰ মাজত মই তেওঁলোকক ত্ৰাসৰ বিষয় কৰিম।
5 For who will have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? Or who will bemoan thee? Or who will turn aside to ask of thy welfare?
৫কিয়নো হে যিৰূচালেম, কোনে তোমাক দয়া কৰিব, আৰু তোমাৰ বাবে বিলাপ কৰিব? বা তোমাৰ মঙ্গল সুধিবলৈ কোনে এফলীয়া হৈ যাব?
6 Thou have rejected me, says Jehovah. Thou have gone backward. Therefore I have stretched out my hand against thee, and destroyed thee. I am weary with relenting.
৬যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তুমি মোক ত্যাগ কৰিলা, তুমি পাছ হুঁহকি গ’লা। এই কাৰণে মই তোমাৰ অহিতে মোৰ হাত মেলি তোমাক নষ্ট কৰিলোঁ; মই ক্ষমা কৰি কৰি আমনি পাইছোঁ।
7 And I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land. I have bereaved them of sons. I have destroyed my people. They did not return from their ways.
৭মই তেওঁলোকক দেশৰ দুৱাৰবোৰত কুলাৰে জাৰিলোঁ। তেওঁলোকক সন্তানহীন কৰিলোঁ। মোৰ জাতিক বিনষ্ট কৰিলোঁ; তেওঁলোক নিজৰ পথৰ পৰা নুলটিল।
8 Their widows have increased to me above the sand of the seas. I have brought upon them, against the mother of the young men, a destroyer at noonday. I have caused anguish and terrors to fall upon her suddenly.
৮মোৰ আগত তেওঁলোকৰ বিধৱাসকল সমুদ্ৰৰ বালিত্কৈয়ো অধিক হৈছে; মই তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ ডেকাসকলৰ মাকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দুপৰবেলাত এজন সংহাৰক আনিলোঁ, তাইলৈ অকস্মাতে দুখ আৰু ত্ৰাস উপস্থিত কৰিলোঁ।
9 She who has borne seven, languishes. She has given up the spirit. Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been put to shame and confounded. And the residue of them I will deliver to the sword before their enemies, says Jehovah.
৯সাত পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰা মাতৃয়ে ক্ষীণাই প্ৰাণত্যাগ কৰিলে। দিন থাকোঁতেই তাইৰ বেলি মাৰ গ’ল। তাই লাজ পাই বিবৰ্ণ হ’ল, মই তেওঁলোকৰ অৱশিষ্ট ভাগক শত্ৰূ আগত তৰোৱালত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম এইয়েই যিহোৱাৰ ঘোষণা।
10 Woe is me, my mother, that thou have bore me, a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, nor have men lent to me, yet every one of them curses me.
১০হায় হায়, হে মোৰ মাতৃ! সমস্ত পৃথিৱীত বিবাদ আৰু কন্দল কৰাকৈ তুমি মোক প্ৰসৱ কৰিলা। মই কাকো সুতলৈ ধাৰ দিয়া নাই, বা মোকো কোনেও সুতলৈ ধাৰ দিয়া নাই; তথাপি সকলোৱে মোক শাও দিয়ে।
11 Jehovah said, Truly I will strengthen thee for good. Truly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to thee in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
১১যিহোৱাই ক’লে: “মই নিশ্চয়ে তোমাক মঙ্গলৰ কাৰণে সবল নকৰিম নে? নিশ্চয়ে সঙ্কটৰ কালত আৰু দুৰ্দ্দশাৰ সময়ত মই শত্ৰূ তোমাৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰাম।
12 Can a man break iron, even iron from the north, and brass?
১২কোনো মানুহে জানো লোহাক গুড়ি কৰিব পাৰে? এনে কি, উত্তৰ দেশীয় লোহা, আৰু পিতল ভাঙিব পাৰে?
13 Thy substance and thy treasures I will give for a spoil without price. And that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
১৩মই তোমাৰ সম্পত্তি আৰু তোমাৰ বহুমুল্য বস্তু বিনামূল্যে লুটদ্ৰব্যস্বৰূপে দিম। এনে কি, তোমাৰ পাপ সমূহৰ কাৰণে তোমাৰ সীমাৰ সকলো ফালে তাক কৰিম।
14 And I will make them to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou know not. For a fire is kindled in my anger, which shall burn upon you.
১৪তেতিয়া শত্রুৱে সৈতে তুমি নজনা দেশলৈ সেইবোৰ নিয়াম, কিয়নো মোৰ ক্ৰোধাগ্নি জ্বলিছে, সেয়ে তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত জ্বলি থাকিব।
15 O Jehovah, thou know. Remember me, and visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. Take me not away in thy longsuffering. Know that for thy sake I have suffered reproach.
১৫হে যিহোৱা, তুমিয়েই জানি আছা! মোক সোঁৱৰণ কৰা, মোলৈ কৃপা দৃষ্টি কৰা। আৰু মোৰ অৰ্থে মোৰ তাড়ণাকাৰীৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ সাধা। তোমাৰ দীৰ্ঘ সহিষ্ণুতাত মোক বিনষ্ট হব নিদিবা। মই যে তোমাৰ কাৰণে অপমান সহন কৰিলোঁ, তাক তুমি মনত পেলোৱা।
16 Thy words were found, and I ate them. And thy words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart. For I am called by thy name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.
১৬মই তোমাৰ বাক্যবোৰ পোৱা মাত্ৰকে অতি আগ্ৰহেৰে গ্ৰহণ কৰিলোঁ, আৰু তোমাৰ বাক্যবোৰ মোৰ পক্ষে মোৰ মনৰ আনন্দ আৰু উল্লাসজনক হল, কিয়নো হে বাহিনীসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, মই তোমাৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত।
17 I did not sit in the assembly of those who make merry, nor did I rejoice. I sat alone because of thy hand, for thou have filled me with indignation.
১৭মই আমোদকাৰী সকলৰ সভাত বহি উল্লাস কৰা নাই। তোমাৰ হাতৰ কাৰণে মই অকলেই বহোঁ, কিয়নো তুমি মোক ক্ৰোধেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ কৰিলা।
18 Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will thou indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, as waters that fail?
১৮মোৰ বেদনা কিয় চিৰকলীয়া? আৰু মোৰ ঘা কিয় সুস্থ হব নোৱাৰে? সেয়ে ভাল হব নোখোজে? তুমি জানো সচাঁকৈয়ে মোৰ আগত মিছা জুৰি আৰু অস্থায়ী জল স্বৰূপ হবা?
19 Therefore thus says Jehovah: If thou return, then I will bring thee again that thou may stand before me. And if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shall be as my mouth. They shall return to thee, but thou shall not return to them.
১৯এই হেতুকে যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: তুমি যদি উলটি আহাঁ, তেন্তে মোৰ আগত থিয় হব পৰাকৈ মই তোমাক আকৌ আনিম। আৰু যদি অধম বস্তুৰ মাজৰ পৰা ৰত্ন বাহিৰ কৰি লোৱা, তেন্তে মোৰ মুখস্থৰূপ হ’বা; তেওঁলোক তোমালৈ ঘুৰি আহিব, কিন্তু তুমি তেওঁলোকলৈ নুঘুৰিবা।
20 And I will make thee to this people a fortified brazen wall. And they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee. For I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, says Jehovah.
২০মই এই জাতিৰ আগত তোমাক পিতলৰ দৃঢ় গড়স্বৰূপ কৰিম; তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিব, কিন্তু তোমাক পৰাজয় কৰিব নোৱাৰিব। কিয়নো, যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তোমাৰ ত্ৰাণ আৰু উদ্ধাৰৰ অৰ্থে মই তোমাৰ লগত আছোঁ।
21 And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
২১আৰু দুষ্টবোৰৰ হাতৰ পৰা মই তোমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম, আৰু ভয়ানকবোৰৰ হাতৰ পৰা তোমাক মুক্ত কৰিম।”
