Isaiah 66
1 Thus says Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What manner of house will ye build to me, and what place shall be my rest?
யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: “வானம் எனது அரியணை, பூமி எனது பாதபீடம். நீங்கள் எனக்காகக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எங்கே? நான் இளைப்பாறும் இடம் எங்கே?
2 For all these things my hand has made, and all these things came to be, says Jehovah. But to this man I will look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
இவைகளையெல்லாம் என் கரம் படைத்ததினால், இவைகளெல்லாம் உருவாயின” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். “ஒருவன் தாழ்மையும் நொறுங்கிய உள்ளமும் கொண்டவராய், என் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு நடுங்குகிறவரையே நான் கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்ப்பேன்.
3 He who slaughters an ox is as he who kills a man. He who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog's neck. He who offers an oblation, as swine's blood. He who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
காளையைப் பலியிடுகிறவர் மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவராகவும், செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டியைப் பலியிடுகிறவர் நாயின் கழுத்தை முறிப்பவராகவும், தானியபலி செலுத்துகிறவர் பன்றியின் இரத்தத்தைப் படைப்பவராகவும், நினைவுப் படையலாகிய தூபங்காட்டுதலைச் செய்கிறவர் விக்கிரகத்தை வணங்குபவராகவும் இருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த வழிகளைத் தெரிந்துகொள்கிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா அவர்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளில் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கின்றன.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them. Because when I called, none answered. When I spoke, they did not hear. But they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight.
ஆகையால், நானும் அவர்களுக்குக் கடும் நடவடிக்கையை தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவர்கள் பயப்படுகிறவற்றை அவர்கள்மேல் கொண்டுவருவேன். ஏனெனில் நான் அழைத்தபோது ஒருவரும் பதிலளிக்கவில்லை; நான் பேசியபோது ஒருவரும் கேட்கவில்லை. அவர்கள் எனது பார்வையில் தீமையானவற்றைச் செய்து, நான் விரும்பாத காரியங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.”
5 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye who tremble at his word: Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name's sake, have said, Let Jehovah be glorified, that we may see your joy. But it is those who shall be put to shame.
யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தைக்கு நடுங்குகிறவர்களே, அவரின் வார்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்: “உங்களை வெறுத்து, எனது பெயரின் நிமித்தம் உங்களை விலக்கி வைக்கின்ற உங்கள் சகோதரர்கள், ‘யெகோவா தமது மகிமையைக் காண்பிக்கட்டும், அப்பொழுது நாம் உங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் காண்போம்!’ என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆயினும், அவர்கள் வெட்கமடைவார்கள்.
6 A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Jehovah who renders recompense to his enemies.
பட்டணத்திலிருந்து வரும் அமளியின் கூக்குரலைக் கேளுங்கள். ஆலயத்திலிருந்து வரும் சத்தத்தையும் கேளுங்கள். அது யெகோவாவின் பேரொலி; அது அவர் தமது பகைவர்களுக்கு ஏற்றவிதமாய் பதிலளிக்கும் சத்தம்.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth. Before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child.
“பிரசவவேதனை வருமுன்னே அவள் பெற்றெடுக்கிறாள்; அவளுக்கு வேதனை வருமுன்னே, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுக்கிறாள்.
8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her sons.
இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு காரியத்தை யாரேனும் எப்பொழுதாவது கேள்விப்பட்டதுண்டோ? யாராவது இப்படிப்பட்டவற்றை எப்பொழுதாவது கண்டதுண்டோ? ஒரு நாளிலே ஒரு நாடு உருவாகுமோ? ஒரு நாட்டை திடீரெனப் பெற்றெடுக்க முடியுமோ? அப்படியிருந்தும், சீயோன் பிரசவவேதனை தொடங்கியவுடனே தன் பிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றெடுக்கிறாள்.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says Jehovah. Shall I who cause to bring forth shut the womb? says thy God.
பேறுகாலத்துக்கு கொண்டுவருகிற நான் பிரசவத்தைக் கொடாமல் விடுவேனோ?” என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார். பேறுகாலத்துக்கு கொண்டுவருகிறபோது, நான் கருப்பையை அடைப்பேனோ? என்று உங்கள் இறைவன் கேட்கிறார்.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all ye who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all ye who mourn over her,
“எருசலேமை நேசிக்கின்றவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் அவளுடன் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, அவளுக்காக மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்ளுங்கள். அவளுக்காக துக்கப்படுகிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் அவளுடன் சேர்ந்து பெருமகிழ்ச்சி அடையுங்கள்.
11 that ye may nurse and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations, that ye may get milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் ஆறுதலளிக்கும் அவளுடைய மார்பகங்களில் பால் குடித்துத் திருப்தியடைவீர்கள். நீங்கள் தாராளமாகக் குடித்து, பொங்கி வழியும் அதன் நிறைவில் மகிழ்வீர்கள்.”
12 For thus says Jehovah, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream. And ye shall nurse thereof. Ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.
ஏனெனில் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: “நான் அவளுக்கு நீடிய சமாதானத்தை நதியைப்போலவும், நாடுகளின் செல்வத்தை புரண்டோடும் நீரோடையைப்போல் நீடிக்கும்படி செய்வேன். நீங்கள் பாலூட்டப்பட்டு இடுப்பில் சுமக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; மடியில் தாலாட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
ஒரு தாய் தனது பிள்ளையை தேற்றுவதுபோல, நான் உங்களைத் தேற்றுவேன்; நீங்கள் எருசலேமிலே ஆறுதல் அடைவீர்கள்.”
14 And ye shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the tender grass. And the hand of Jehovah shall be known toward his servants, and he will have indignation against his enemies.
நீங்கள் இதைக் காணும்போது, உங்கள் இருதயம் மகிழும்; நீங்கள் புல்லைப்போல செழிப்பீர்கள். யெகோவாவின் கரம் அவரது ஊழியர்களுக்கு காண்பிக்கப்படும்; ஆனால் அவரின் கடுங்கோபமோ, அவருடைய பகைவர்களுக்குக் காட்டப்படும்.
15 For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind, to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
இதோ, யெகோவா நெருப்புடன் வருகிறார், அவருடைய தேர்கள் சுழல்காற்றைப்போல் விரைகின்றன; அவர் தம் கோபத்தை மூர்க்கமாகவும் தமது கண்டனத்தை நெருப்பு ஜுவாலையாகவும் கொண்டுவருவார்.
16 For by fire Jehovah will execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh, and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.
ஏனெனில், யெகோவா தன் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை எல்லா மனிதர்மேலும் நெருப்பினாலும் தமது வாளினாலுமே நிறைவேற்றுவார்; யெகோவாவினால் மரண தண்டனைக்குட்படுவோர் அநேகராய் இருப்பார்கள்.
17 Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together, says Jehovah.
“தங்களை வேறுபடுத்தி சுத்திகரித்துக்கொண்டு, தோட்டங்களின் நடுவிலே ஒருவர் பின் ஒருவர் பின்பற்றும்படி போகிறவர்கள் பன்றிகளின் இறைச்சியையும், எலியையும் மற்ற அருவருப்பானதையும் சாப்பிடுகிறவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒன்றாய் அழிவார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes, that I will gather all nations and tongues, and they shall come, and shall see my glory.
“நான் அவர்கள் எல்லோருடைய செயல்களையும் எண்ணங்களையும் அறிவேன். அதனால் எல்லா நாட்டினரையும் எல்லா மொழி பேசுபவரையும் ஒன்றுசேர்க்க வர இருக்கிறேன்; அவர்கள் வந்து எனது மகிமையைக் காண்பார்கள்.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory, and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
“நான் அவர்கள் மத்தியில் ஒரு அடையாளத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவேன். அவர்களில் தப்பியிருப்பவர்களில் சிலரை, தர்ஷீஸ், பூல், விசேஷ வில்வீரர் இருக்கும் லூது, தூபால், யாவான் ஆகிய தேசத்தாரிடமும் அனுப்புவேன். எனது புகழைக் கேள்விப்படாமலோ, எனது மகிமையைக் காணாமலோ இருக்கும் தூர தீவுகளில் உள்ளவர்களிடமும் அனுப்புவேன். அவர்கள் நாடுகளிடையே எனது மகிமையை அறிவிப்பார்கள்.
20 And they shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an oblation to Jehovah, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah, as the sons of Israel bring their oblation in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.
அவர்கள் உங்கள் சகோதரர் அனைவரையும், எல்லா நாடுகளிலிருந்தும் எருசலேமிலுள்ள எனது பரிசுத்த மலைக்கு யெகோவாவுக்குக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள். குதிரைகள், தேர்கள், வண்டிகள், கோவேறு கழுதைகள், ஒட்டகங்கள் ஆகியவற்றில் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார். “இஸ்ரயேலர் தங்கள் தானிய காணிக்கைகளை, சம்பிரதாய முறைப்படி தூய்மைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பாத்திரங்களில் யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவருவதைப்போல், அவர்களை கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
21 And of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says Jehovah.
அவர்களில் சிலரை நான் ஆசாரியர்களாகவும் லேவியராகவும் இருக்கும்படி தெரிந்தெடுப்பேன்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“நான் உண்டாக்கும் புதிய வானமும் புதிய பூமியும் எனக்குமுன் நிலைத்திருப்பதுபோலவே, உங்களுடைய பெயரும், உங்கள் சந்ததிகளும் நிலைத்திருப்பார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before me, says Jehovah.
“ஒரு அமாவாசையிலிருந்து மறு அமாவாசை வரைக்கும், ஒரு ஓய்வுநாளிலிருந்து மறு ஓய்வுநாள் வரைக்கும் மனுக்குலம் யாவும் வந்து என்முன் விழுந்து வழிபடுவார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me. For their worm shall not die, nor shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.
“அவர்கள் வெளியே போய், எனக்கு எதிராகக் கலகம் செய்தவர்களின் பிரேதங்களைப் பார்ப்பார்கள்; அவர்களைத் தின்னும் புழு சாகாது, அவர்களை எரிக்கும் நெருப்பு அணைந்துபோகாது. அவர்கள் எல்லா மனுக்குலத்திற்கும் அருவருப்பாய் இருப்பார்கள்.”
