Isaiah 57
1 The righteous man perishes, and no man lays it to heart. And merciful men are taken away; none considering that the righteous man is taken away from the evil.
La virtulo pereis, kaj neniu prenis tion al sia koro; kaj piaj homoj estas forkaptataj, kaj neniu komprenas, ke for de malbono estas forkaptita la virtulo.
2 He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.
Kiu iras ĝustan vojon, tiu venas al paco, ripozas sur sia kuŝejo.
3 But draw near here, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.
Sed venu ĉi tien vi, ho filoj de sorĉistino, idoj de adultulo kaj malĉastulino!
4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves, against whom ye make a wide mouth, and put out the tongue? Are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
Kiun vi mokegas? kontraŭ kiu vi malfermegas la buŝon kaj elŝovas la langon? ĉu vi ne estas infanoj de krimo, idoj de mensogo,
5 ye who inflame yourselves among the oaks, under every green tree, who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
kiuj varmiĝas en la arbaretoj, sub ĉiu verdbranĉa arbo; kiuj buĉas la infanojn en la valoj, sub la elstarantaj rokoj?
6 Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion. They, they are thy lot, even to them thou have poured a drink offering; thou have offered an oblation. Shall I be appeased for these things?
Inter la glataĵoj de la valo estas via parto; ili, ili estas via loto; al ili vi verŝis verŝoferojn, alportis farunoferojn; ĉu Mi povas esti kontenta pri tio?
7 Upon a high and lofty mountain thou have set thy bed. Thou also went up there to offer sacrifice.
Sur monto alta kaj levita vi starigis vian kuŝejon, vi tien supreniris, por buĉi oferojn.
8 And behind the doors and the posts thou have set up thy memorial. For thou have uncovered thyself to another than me, and have gone up. Thou have enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them. Thou loved their bed where thou saw it.
Kaj malantaŭ la pordo kaj la fostoj vi starigis vian simbolon; ĉar vi forturnis vin de Mi kaj supreniris, larĝigis vian kuŝejon, kaj ligis vin kun ili; vi ekamis ilian kuŝejon, elrigardis por vi oportunan lokon.
9 And thou went to the king with oil, and increased thy perfumes, and sent thine ambassadors far off, and debased thyself even to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
Oleita vi pilgrimis al la reĝo, uzis multe da aromaĵoj, kaj vi sendis malproksimen viajn senditojn, kaj malaltiĝis ĝis Ŝeol. (Sheol h7585)
10 Thou were wearied with the length of thy way, yet thou did not say, It is in vain. Thou found a quickening of thy strength, therefore thou were not faint.
Pro la multeco de viaj vojoj vi laciĝis, tamen vi ne diris: Mi perdis la esperon; vi trovis ankoraŭ vivon en via mano, kaj pro tio vi ne laciĝis.
11 And of whom have thou been afraid and in fear, that thou lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? Have I not held my peace even of long time, and thou do not fear me?
Sed kiu kaŭzis al vi zorgojn, kaj kiun vi timis, ke vi ekmensogis kaj Min ne memoris kaj ne prenis al via koro? ĉu pro tio, ke Mi silentas tre longe, vi Min ne timas?
12 I will declare thy righteousness. And as for thy works, they shall not profit thee.
Se Mi montros vian pravecon kaj viajn farojn, ili ne helpos vin.
13 When thou cry, let those whom thou have gathered deliver thee. But the wind shall take them; a breath shall carry them all away. But he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain.
Kiam vi krios, viaj idolamasoj vin savu; sed ilin ĉiujn disportos la vento, forpelos la blovo; kaj kiu fidas Min, tiu ekposedos la teron kaj heredos Mian sanktan monton.
14 And he will say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way. Take up the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.
Kaj Li diras: Faru vojon, faru vojon, ebenigu irejon, forigu malhelpojn de la vojo de Mia popolo.
15 For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, also with him who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Ĉar tiele diras la Plejalta kaj Plejsupra, kiu restas eterne kaj kies nomo estas Sanktulo: Alte kaj en sankta loko Mi loĝas, sed ankaŭ apud afliktito kaj humilulo, por revigligi la spiriton de humiluloj kaj revivigi la koron de afliktitoj.
16 For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry, for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls that I have made.
Ĉar ne eterne Mi malpacas kaj ne senfine Mi koleras; alie tute senfortiĝus antaŭ Mi la spirito kaj la animoj, kiujn Mi kreis.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry, and smote him. I hid my face and was angry, and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
Pro la peko de lia avideco Mi koleris kaj frapis lin, Mi deturnis Min kaj koleris; sed li iris perfide, iris laŭ la vojo de sia koro.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
Mi vidis liajn vojojn, kaj Mi lin sanigos; Mi kondukos lin kaj redonos konsolon al li kaj al liaj plorantoj.
19 I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near, says Jehovah, and I will heal him.
Mi kreos diron de la buŝo: Paco, paco al malproksimaj kaj al proksimaj, diras la Eternulo; kaj Mi sanigos lin.
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.
Sed la malpiuloj estas kiel malkvieta maro, kiu ne povas trankviliĝi kaj kies akvo elĵetas ŝlimon kaj koton.
21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
Ne ekzistas paco por la malpiuloj, diras mia Dio.
