Isaiah 43
1 But now thus says Jehovah who created thee, O Jacob, and he who formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee. I have called thee by thy name, Thou are mine.
हे इस्राएल तेरा रचनेवाला और हे याकोब, तुम्हारे सृजनहार याहवेह— जिन्होंने तुम्हारी रचना की है, वह याहवेह यों कहते हैं: “मत डर, क्योंकि मैंने तुम्हें छुड़ा लिया है; मैंने नाम लेकर तुम्हें बुलाया है; अब तुम मेरे हो गए हो.
2 When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walk through the fire, thou shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle upon thee.
जब तुम गहरे जल से होकर चलोगे, तुम मुझे अपने पास पाओगे; जब तुम नदियों से होकर आगे बढ़ोगे, वे तुम्हें डूबा न सकेंगी. जब तुम आग में से होकर निकलोगे, आग तुम्हें झुलसा न सकेगी; न ही लौ तुम्हें भस्म कर सकेगी.
3 For I am Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior. I have given Egypt as thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in thy stead.
क्योंकि मैं ही याहवेह तुम्हारा परमेश्वर हूं, तुम्हारा छुड़ाने वाला, इस्राएल का पवित्र परमेश्वर हूं; मैंने मिस्र देश से तुम्हें छुड़ाया है, कूश एवं सेबा को तुम्हारी संती दी है.
4 Since thou have been precious in my sight, and honorable, and I have loved thee, therefore I will give men in thy stead, and peoples instead of thy life.
इसलिये कि तुम मेरी दृष्टि में अनमोल तथा प्रतिष्ठित और मेरे प्रिय हो, इस कारण मैं तेरी संती मनुष्यों को, और तेरे प्राण के बदले में राज्य-राज्य के लोगों को दे दूंगा.
5 Fear not, for I am with thee. I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.
मत डर, क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूं; मैं तुम्हारे वंश को पूर्व से ले आऊंगा तथा तुम्हें पश्चिम में इकट्ठा करूंगा.
6 I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Keep not back. Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the end of the earth,
और उत्तर से कहूंगा, ‘वे मुझे दे दो!’ और दक्षिण से की, ‘मत रोके रहो उन्हें.’ दूर से मेरे पुत्रों और पुत्रियों को ले आओ—
7 everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yea, whom I have made.
उन सभी को जो मेरे नाम से जाने जाते हैं, जिन्हें मैंने अपनी महिमा के लिए सृजा है, जिसकी रचना मैंने की है.”
8 Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
उन्हें बाहर लाओ जिनकी आंखें हैं, लेकिन अंधे हैं, और कान होते हुए भी बहरे हैं.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
जाति-जाति के लोग एक साथ हो, और राज्य-राज्य के लोग इकट्ठा हो. किसी भी मिथ्या देवता ने कभी इन बातों के बारे में कुछ कहा है और भूतकाल में यह बताया था कि आगे क्या कुछ होगा तो उन्हें अपने गवाह लाने दो और उन मिथ्या देवताओं को प्रामाणिक सिद्ध करने दो. उन्हें सत्य बताने दो और उन्हें सुनो. इनमें से कौन बीती हुई बातों को बता सकता और सुनकर कहे कि यह सच है?
10 Ye are my witnesses, says Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after me.
याहवेह ने कहा, “तुम मेरे गवाह बनो,” और वे सेवक जिनको मैंने चुना है, ताकि तुम मुझे पहचानो, मुझमें विश्वास करो तथा समझ पाओ कि मैं ही परमेश्वर हूं. न मुझसे पहले कोई था, न बाद में कोई हुआ.
11 I, even I, am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.
मैं ही याहवेह हूं, मुझे छोड़ कोई और नहीं है.
12 I have declared, and I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore ye are my witnesses, says Jehovah, and I am God.
मैं ही हूं जिसने समाचार दिया और उद्धार किया— तथा वर्णन भी किया, तुम्हारे बीच कोई और देवता नहीं था. “इसलिये तुम ही मेरे गवाह हो, यह याहवेह की वाणी है.
13 Yea, since the day was I am he, and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?
मैं ही परमेश्वर हूं तथा आगे भी मैं वही हूं. कोई और नहीं है जो मेरे हाथों से किसी को छीनकर छुड़ा ले. कौन है, जो मेरे द्वारा किए गए काम को पलट सके?”
14 Thus says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
इस्राएल के पवित्र परमेश्वर याहवेह, जो तुम्हारे उद्धारकर्ता हैं, उनकी वाणी यह है: “तुम्हारे कारण मैंने बाबेल पर हमला किया मैं उन सभी को बंधक बना दूंगा, और उन्हीं के जहाज़ पर चढ़ाकर ले आऊंगा.
15 I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
मैं याहवेह तुम्हारा पवित्र परमेश्वर, इस्राएल का रचनेवाला, तुम्हारा राजा हूं.”
16 Thus says Jehovah, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
याहवेह ने कहा है— जिन्होंने समुद्र में से मार्ग तैयार किया, और गहरे जल में से पथ निकालता है.
17 who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together; they shall not rise; they are extinct; they are quenched as a wick):
वह जो रथों तथा अश्वों, और सेना को निकाल लाता है, और शूर योद्धा गिरा दिये जायेंगे, और फिर उठ न सकेंगे:
18 Do not remember ye the former things, nor consider the things of old.
“न तो पुरानी बातों को याद करो; और न ही अतीत पर विचार करो.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
देखो, मैं एक नई बात करता हूं! जो अभी प्रकट होगी, क्या तुम उससे अनजान रहोगे? मैं बंजर भूमि में एक मार्ग बनाऊंगा और निर्जल देश में नदियां बहाऊंगा.
20 The beasts of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
मैदान के पशु सियार तथा शुतुरमुर्ग मेरी महिमा करेंगे, क्योंकि निर्जन स्थान में नदियां तथा मरुस्थल में लोगों को पीने के लिए जल मिलेगा,
21 the people whom I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.
वे लोग, जिन्हें मैंने इस उद्देश्य से बनाया है, कि वे मेरी प्रशंसा करें.
22 Yet thou have not called upon me, O Jacob, but thou have been weary of me, O Israel.
“याकोब, यह सब होने पर भी तुमने मेरी महिमा नहीं की, इस्राएल, तुम तो मुझसे थक गए हो.
23 Thou have not brought me from thy sheep for burnt offerings, nor have thou honored me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
होमबलि के लिए अलग की गई भेड़ को तुम मेरे पास नहीं लाए, अपनी बलि के द्वारा तुमने मेरा आदर नहीं किया. बलि चढ़ाने के लिए मैंने नहीं कहा न ही धूप चढ़ाने के लिए मेरी इच्छा तुम पर बोझ बढ़ाने के लिए थी.
24 Thou have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices. But thou have burdened me with thy sins. Thou have wearied me with thine iniquities.
तुमने मेरे लिए सुगंध सामग्री मोल नहीं लिया, और न तुमने मुझे बलियों की चर्बी चढ़ाई. इसके बदले तुमने मुझ पर अपने पापों का बोझ ही डाल दिया है और अधर्म के कामों से मुझे थका दिया है.
25 I, even I, am he who blots out thy transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember thy sins.
“मैं ही हूं, जो अपने नाम के निमित्त तुम्हारे पापों को मिटा देता हूं, तुम्हारे पापों को मैं याद नहीं रखूंगा.
26 Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set thou forth thy case that thou may be justified.
मुझे याद दिलाओ, कि हम आपस में बातचीत करें; तुम अपनी सच्चाई को बताओ जिससे तुम निर्दोष ठहरे.
27 Thy first father sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
तुम्हारे पूर्वजों ने पाप किया; और जो मेरे और तुम्हारे बीच आए उन्होंने मुझसे बदला लिया.
28 Therefore I will profane the rulers of the sanctuary, and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.
इस कारण मैं पवित्र स्थान के शासकों को अपवित्र कर दूंगा; मैं याकोब को सर्वनाश के लिए तथा इस्राएल को निंदा के लिए छोड़ दूंगा.
