< Isaiah 39 >
1 At that time Merodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah did not show them.
Hezekia xɔ ame dɔdɔawo kple dzidzɔ, eye wòtsɔ nu siwo katã le eƒe nudzraɖoƒe la fia wo; esiwo nye klosalo, sika, atike ʋeʋĩwo, ami tɔxɛwo, aʋawɔnu siwo katã le esi kple nu sia nu si le eƒe kesinɔnuwo dzraɖoƒe. Naneke mele fiasã alo fiaɖuƒe blibo la me si Hezekia mefia wo o.
3 Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and said to him, What did these men say? And from where did they come to thee? And Hezekiah said, They have come from a far country to me, even from Babylon.
Emegbe la, Nyagblɔɖila Yesaya yi ɖe Fia Hezekia gbɔ ɖabiae be, “Nya ka ame siawo gblɔ, eye afi ka wotso?” Hezekia ɖo eŋu be, “Wotso anyigba didi aɖe dzi, tso keke Babilonia.”
4 Then he said, What have they seen in thy house? And Hezekiah answered, They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.
Nyagblɔɖila la biae be, “Nu ka wokpɔ le wò fiasã me?” Hezekia ɖo eŋu be, “Wokpɔ nu sia nu si le nye fiasã la me. Naneke mele nye kesinɔnuwo dome si nyemefia wo o.”
5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Hear the word of Jehovah of hosts:
Tete Yesaya gblɔ na Hezekia be, “Ɖo to nya si Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la gblɔ.
6 Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says Jehovah.
Ŋkekewo li gbɔna, esiwo me nu sia nu si le wò fiasã me, kpe ɖe nu siwo katã fofowòwo dzra ɖo ŋu la, woalɔ wo katã ayi ɖe Babilonia. Naneke masusɔ o. Yehowae gblɔe.
7 And of thy sons who shall issue from thee, whom thou shall beget, they shall take away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
Wò dzidzimevi aɖewo kple vi siwo wodzi na wò ŋutɔ hã, woakplɔ wo adzoe, eye woazu ŋutsu tata siwo anye aƒedzikpɔlawo le Babilonia fia ƒe fiasã me.”
8 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, The word of Jehovah which thou have spoken is good. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
Hezekia ɖo eŋu be, “Yehowa ƒe nya siwo nègblɔ la nyo,” elabena esusu be, “Ŋutifafa kple dedinɔnɔ anɔ yeƒe agbemeŋkekewo me.”
