Isaiah 26
1 In that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city. He will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks.
१त्या दिवशी यहूदा प्रदेशात हे गीत गातील, आम्हास बळकट शहर आहे, देवाने त्याच्या भींतींना व तटबंदीना तारण असे केले आहे.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps faith may enter in.
२वेशी उघडा म्हणजे नितीमान राष्ट्र जो विश्वास पाळतो, ते आत येतील.
3 Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.
३परमेश्वरा, तुझ्यावर विसंबून असणाऱ्यांना आणि तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांना, तू खरी शांती देतोस.
4 Trust ye in Jehovah forever, for in Jehovah, even Jehovah, is an everlasting rock.
४सर्वकाळ परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव, कारण प्रभू परमेश्वर, याच्या ठायी सर्वकाळचा खडक आहे.
5 For he has brought down those who dwell on high. The lofty city, he lays it low. He lays it low even to the ground. He brings it even to the dust.
५कारण जे अभिमानाने राहतात त्यांना तो खाली आणील, तो उंच गढांना, खाली आणणार, तो तिला भूमीपर्यंत खाली नीच करणार, तो तिला धुळीस मिळवणार.
6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
६दीनदुबळ्यांचे पाय व दरिद्र्यांचे पाय त्यांना तुडवतील.
7 The way of the just is uprightness. Thou who are upright directs the path of the just.
७सरळपण हा नितीमानाचा मार्ग आहे, जो तू सरळ आहेस तो तू नितीमानाची वाट सपाट करतो.
8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Jehovah, we have waited for thee, to thy name. Even to thy memorial, is the desire of our soul.
८होय, परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या न्यायाच्या मार्गात आम्ही तुझी वाट पाहिली आहे, आमच्या जीवाची इच्छा तुझ्या नावाकडे, तुझ्या स्मरणाकडेच आहे.
9 With my soul I have desired thee in the night. Yea, with my spirit within me I will seek thee earnestly. For when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
९प्रत्येक रात्रीबरोबर तुझ्याशी एकरूप होण्याची आमची इच्छा आहे, माझा आत्मा माझ्यामध्ये आतुरतेने तुला शोधीन, कारण जेव्हा तुझा न्याय या पृथ्वीवर येतो, तेव्हा या जगातील राहणारे न्यायीपण शिकतात.
10 Let favor be shown to a wicked man, yet he will not learn righteousness. In the land of uprightness he will deal wrongfully, and will not behold the majesty of Jehovah.
१०पापी मनुष्यावर तू फक्त दयाच करीत राहिलास तर तो कधीच न्यायीपण शिकणार नाही. सरळपणाच्या भूमीत तो दुष्टतेनेच वागणार, आणि परमेश्वराचा महिमा पाहणार नाही.
11 Jehovah, thy hand is lifted up, yet they do not see. But they shall see thy zeal for the people, and be put to shame. Yea, fire shall devour thine adversaries.
११परमेश्वरा, तुझा हात उंचावलेला आहे, पण त्यांनी त्याकडे लक्ष दिले नाही. तुझ्या लोकांबद्दल असलेला तुझा आवेश ते पाहतील आणि फजित होतील. तुझे शत्रू नक्कीच त्यांच्याच आगीत भस्मसात होतील.
12 Jehovah, thou will ordain peace for us, for thou have also wrought all our works for us.
१२परमेश्वरा, तू आमच्यासाठी शांती ठरवशील, कारण खरच तू आमची सर्व कामे आमच्यासाठी पूर्ण केले आहेत.
13 O Jehovah our God, other lords besides thee have had dominion over us, but by thee only we will make mention of thy name.
१३परमेश्वर आमचा देव, तुला सोडून इतर देवतांनी आम्हावर राज्य केले. पण आम्ही फक्त तुझीच स्तुती करतो.
14 Being dead, they shall not live. Being deceased, they shall not rise. Therefore thou have visited and destroyed them, and made all remembrance of them to perish.
१४ते मृत आहेत, ते जिवंत नाहीत; ते प्रेते आहेत, ते उठणार नाहीत. खरोखर, तू त्यांना दंड देऊन त्यांचा नाश केला आहेस आणि त्यांची आठवण तू नष्ट केली आहेस.
15 Thou have increased the nation, O Jehovah, thou have increased the nation. Thou are glorified. Thou have enlarged all the borders of the land.
१५हे परमेश्वरा, तू राष्ट्र वाढवले आहेस, तू राष्ट्र वाढवले आहे, तू सन्मानीत आहेस, तू भूमीच्या सर्व सीमा विस्तारित केल्या आहेत.
16 Jehovah, in trouble they have visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
१६परमेश्वरा, संकटात असताना ते तुझे स्मरण करतात. तुझी शिक्षा त्यांच्यावर असता त्यांनी तुझ्यापुढे प्रार्थना केली.
17 As a woman with child, who draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs, so we have been before thee, O Jehovah.
१७जेव्हा एखादी स्त्री प्रसूतीची वेळ जवळ आली म्हणजे ती वेदनेने विव्हळते आणि आपल्या वेदनांमध्ये ओरडते, प्रभू, तसे आम्ही तुझ्यापुढे आहोत.
18 We have been with child. We have been in pain. We have as it were brought forth wind. We have not wrought any deliverance in the earth, nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
१८त्याचप्रमाणे आम्ही गरोदर होतो, आम्ही प्रसूतीवेदनेमध्ये होतो, पण आम्ही फक्त वाऱ्याला जन्म दिला. पृथ्वीत आम्ही काही तारण केले नाही, आणि जगातील राहणारे पडले नाहीत.
19 Thy dead shall live. My dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye who dwell in the dust, for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.
१९तुझे मरण पावलेले जिवंत होतील, आमचे मृत शरीरे उठतील. जे धुळीत स्थायिक झाले ते तुम्ही जागे व्हा आणि आनंदाने गायन करा. कारण तुझ्यावरील दहिवर हे प्रभातीचे जिवनदायी दहिवर आहे, पृथ्वी तिचे भक्ष तिच्यातील मृत बाहेर टाकील.”
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors around thee. Hide thyself for a little moment until the indignation be passed over.
२०माझ्या लोकांनो, आपापल्या खोल्यांत जा आणि दारे लावून घ्या. क्रोध टळून जाईपर्यंत थोडा वेळासाठी लपा.
21 For, behold, Jehovah comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
२१कारण पाहा, परमेश्वर पृथ्वीतल्या राहणाऱ्यांच्या अन्यायाबद्दल शिक्षा करण्यास आपले स्थान सोडून येत आहे. मारल्या गेलेल्यांचे रक्त पृथ्वी प्रगट करेल, आणि आपल्या वधलेल्यांना यापुढे झाकून ठेवणार नाही.
