Ezra 2

1 Now these are the sons of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, every man to his city,

往昔バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに擄へられバビロンに遷されたる者のうち俘囚をゆるされてヱルサレムおよびユダに上りおのおの己の邑に歸りし此州の者は左の如し

2 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

是皆ゼルバベル、ヱシユア、ネヘミヤ、セラヤ、レエラヤ、モルデカイ、ビルシヤン、ミスパル、ビグワイ、レホム、バアナ等に隨ひ來れり 其イスラエルの民の人數は是のごとし

3 The sons of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy-two.

4 The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.

5 The sons of Arah, seven hundred seventy-five.

6 The sons of Pahath-moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

ヱシユアとヨアブの族たるパハテモアブの子孫二千八百十二人

7 The sons of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty-four.

エラムの子孫千二百五十四人

8 The sons of Zattu, nine hundred forty-five.

9 The sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.

10 The sons of Bani, six hundred forty-two.

11 The sons of Bebai, six hundred twenty-three.

12 The sons of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty-two.

13 The sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-six.

22 The men of Netophah, fifty-six.

23 The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty-eight.

24 The sons of Azmaveth, forty-two.

25 The sons of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three.

26 The sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.

27 The men of Michmas, a hundred twenty-two.

28 The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred twenty-three.

29 The sons of Nebo, fifty-two.

35 The sons of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.

36 The priests: the sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three.

37 The sons of Immer, a thousand fifty-two.

インメルの子孫千五十二人

38 The sons of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred forty-seven.

39 The sons of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

40 The Levites: the sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.

41 The singers: the sons of Asaph, a hundred twenty-eight.

謳歌者はアサフの子孫百二十八人

42 The sons of the porters: the sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, in all a hundred thirty-nine.

門を守る者の子孫はシヤルムの子孫アテルの子孫タルモンの子孫アツクブの子孫ハテタの子孫シヨバイの子孫合せて百三十九人

43 The Nethinim: the sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth,

ネテニ人はヂハの子孫ハスパの子孫タバオテの子孫

44 the sons of Keros, the sons of Siaha, the sons of Padon,

ケロスの子孫シアハの子孫パドンの子孫

45 the sons of Lebanah, the sons of Hagabah, the sons of Akkub,

46 the sons of Hagab, the sons of Shamlai, the sons of Hanan,

47 the sons of Giddel, the sons of Gahar, the sons of Reaiah,

48 the sons of Rezin, the sons of Nekoda, the sons of Gazzam,

49 the sons of Uzza, the sons of Paseah, the sons of Besai,

50 the sons of Asnah, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephisim,

51 the sons of Bakbuk, the sons of Hakupha, the sons of Harhur,

52 the sons of Bazluth, the sons of Mehida, the sons of Harsha,

53 the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah,

54 the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.

55 The sons of Solomon's servants: the sons of Sotai, the sons of Hassophereth, the sons of Peruda,

ソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫すなはちソタイの子孫ハッソペレテの子孫ペリダの子孫

56 the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,

ヤアラの子孫ダルコンの子孫ギデルの子孫

57 the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.

シパテヤの子孫ハッテルの子孫ポケレテハツゼバイムの子孫アミの子孫

58 All the Nethinim and the sons of Solomon's servants were three hundred ninety-two.

ネテニ人とソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫とは合せて三百九十二人

59 And these were those who went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not show their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

またテルメラ、テルハレサ、ケルブ、アダンおよびインメルより上り來れる者ありしがその宗家の長とその血統とを示してイスラエルの者なるを明かにすることを得ざりき

60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

是すなはちデラヤの子孫トビヤの子孫ネコダの子孫にして合せて六百五十二人

61 And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.

祭司の子孫たる者の中にハバヤの子孫ハッコヅの子孫バルジライの子孫あり バルジライはギレアデ人バルジライの女を妻に娶りてその名を名りしなり

62 These sought their registration among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found. Therefore they were deemed polluted and put away from the priesthood.

是等の者譜系に載たる者等の中におのが名を尋ねたれども在ざりき 是の故に汚れたる者として祭司の中より除かれたり

63 And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

テルシヤタは之に告てウリムとトンミムを帶る祭司の興るまでは至聖物を食ふべからずと言り

64 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,

會衆あはせて四萬二千三百六十人

65 besides their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven. And they had two hundred singing men and singing women.

この外にその僕婢七千三百三十七人 謳歌男女二百人あり

66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,

その馬七百三十六匹 その騾二百四十五匹

67 their camels, four hundred thirty-five, their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

その駱駝四百三十五匹 驢馬六千七百二十匹

68 And some of the heads of fathers, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place.

宗家の長數人ヱルサレムなるヱホバの室にいたるにおよびてヱホバの室をその本の處に建んとて物を誠意より獻げたり

69 They gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.

即ちその力にしたがひて工事のために庫を納めし者は金六萬一千ダリク銀五千斤祭司の衣服百襲なりき

70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.

祭司レビ人民等謳歌者門を守る者およびネテニ人等その邑々に住み一切のイスラエル人その邑々に住り
