Ezra 2
1 Now these are the sons of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, every man to his city,

3 The sons of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy-two.

58 All the Nethinim and the sons of Solomon's servants were three hundred ninety-two.

59 And these were those who went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not show their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61 And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
Des enfants des Sacrificateurs; les enfants de Habaja, les enfants de Kots, les enfants de Barzillaï, qui ayant pris pour femme une des filles de Barzillaï Galaadite, fut appelé de leur nom.
62 These sought their registration among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found. Therefore they were deemed polluted and put away from the priesthood.
Ceux-là cherchèrent leur registre, en recherchant leur généalogie, mais ils n'y furent point trouvés; c'est pourquoi ils furent rejetés de la sacrificature.
63 And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
Et Attirsatha leur dit qu'ils ne mangeassent point des choses très-saintes, tandis que le Sacrificateur assisterait avec l'Urim et le Thummim.
64 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
Tout le peuple ensemble était de quarante-deux mille trois cent soixante;
65 besides their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven. And they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
Sans leurs serviteurs et leurs servantes, qui étaient sept mille trois cent trente-sept; et ils avaient deux cents chantres ou chanteuses.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,
Ils avaient sept cent trente-six chevaux, et deux cent quarante-cinq mulets,
67 their camels, four hundred thirty-five, their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
Quatre cent trente-cinq chameaux, et six mille sept cent vingt ânes.
68 And some of the heads of fathers, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place.
Et [quelques-uns] d'entre les Chefs des pères, après qu'ils furent venus pour [rebâtir] la maison de l'Eternel, qui habite à Jérusalem, offrant volontairement pour la maison de Dieu, afin de la remettre en son état,
69 They gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
Donnèrent au trésor de l'ouvrage, selon leur pouvoir, soixante et un mille drachmes d'or, et cinq mille mines d'argent, et cent robes de Sacrificateurs.
70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
Et ainsi les Sacrificateurs, les Lévites, quelques-uns du peuple, les chantres, les portiers, et les Néthiniens, habitèrent dans leurs villes, et tous ceux d'Israël aussi dans leurs villes.
