Ezekiel 3

1 And he said to me, Son of man, eat that which thou find. Eat this roll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.

۱ پس مرا گفت: «ای پسر انسان آنچه را که می یابی بخور. این طومار را بخور و رفته، باخاندان اسرائیل متکلم شو.»

2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the roll.

۲ آنگاه دهان خود راگشودم و او آن طومار را به من خورانید.

3 And he said to me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

۳ و مراگفت: «ای پسر انسان شکم خود را بخوران واحشای خویش را از این طوماری که من به تومی دهم پر کن.» پس آن را خوردم و در دهانم مثل عسل شیرین بود.

4 And he said to me, Son of man, go, get thee to the house of Israel, and speak to them with my words.

۴ و مرا گفت: «ای پسر انسان بیا و نزد خاندان اسرائیل رفته، کلام مرا برای ایشان بیان کن.

5 For thou are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel,

۵ زیراکه نزد امت غامض زبان و ثقیل لسان فرستاده نشدی، بلکه نزد خاندان اسرائیل.

6 not to many peoples of a strange speech, and of a hard language, whose words thou cannot understand. Surely, if I sent thee to them, they would hearken to thee.

۶ نه نزدقوم های بسیار غامض زبان و ثقیل لسان که سخنان ایشان را نتوانی فهمید. یقین اگر تو را نزدآنها می‌فرستادم به تو گوش می‌گرفتند.

7 But the house of Israel will not hearken to thee, for they will not hearken to me. For all the house of Israel are of a hard forehead and of a stiff heart.

۷ اماخاندان اسرائیل نمی خواهند تو را بشنوند زیرا که نمی خواهند مرا بشنوند. چونکه تمامی خاندان اسرائیل سخت پیشانی و قسی القلب هستند.

8 Behold, I have made thy face hard against their faces, and thy forehead hard against their foreheads.

۸ هان من روی تو را در مقابل روی ایشان سخت خواهم ساخت و پیشانی تو را در مقابل پیشانی‌ایشان سخت خواهم گردانید.

9 As an adamant, harder than flint, I have made thy forehead. Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

۹ بلکه پیشانی تو رامثل الماس از سنگ خارا سخت‌تر گردانیدم. پس از ایشان مترس و از رویهای ایشان هراسان مباش، زیرا که خاندان فتنه انگیز می‌باشند.»

10 Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to thee, receive in thy heart, and hear with thine ears.

۱۰ و مرا گفت: «ای پسر انسان تمام کلام مرا که به تو می‌گویم در دل خود جا بده و به گوشهای خود استماع نما.

11 And go, get thee to those of the captivity, to the sons of thy people, and speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the lord Jehovah, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

۱۱ و بیا و نزد اسیرانی که ازپسران قوم تو می‌باشند رفته، ایشان را خطاب کن و خواه بشنوند و خواه نشنوند. به ایشان بگو: خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید.»

12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of Jehovah from his place.

۱۲ آنگاه روح، مرا برداشت و از عقب خود صدای گلبانگ عظیمی شنیدم که «جلال یهوه از مقام او متبارک باد.»

13 And I heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched each other, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing.

۱۳ و صدای بالهای آن حیوانات را که به همدیگر برمی خوردند و صدای چرخها را که پیش روی آنها بود و صدای گلبانگ عظیمی راشنیدم.

14 So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away. And I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Jehovah was strong upon me.

۱۴ آنگاه روح مرا برداشت و برد و با تلخی در حرارت روح خود رفتم و دست خداوند بر من سنگین می‌بود.

15 Then I came to those of the captivity at Tel-abib, who dwelt by the river Chebar, and to where they dwelt. And I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

۱۵ پس به تل ابیب نزد اسیرانی که نزد نهر خابور ساکن بودند، رسیدم و در مکانی که ایشان نشسته بودند، در آنجا به میان ایشان هفت روز متحیر نشستم.

16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

۱۶ و بعد از انقضای هفت روز واقع شد که کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

۱۷ «ای پسر انسان تو را برای خاندان اسرائیل دیده بان ساختم، پس کلام را از دهان من بشنو و ایشان را از جانب من تهدید کن.

18 When I say to a wicked man, Thou shall surely die, and thou give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked man from his wicked way, to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at thy hand.

۱۸ و حینی که من به مرد شریر گفته باشم که البته خواهی مرد، اگر تو او را تهدید نکنی و سخن نگویی تا آن شریر را از طریق زشت اوتهدید نموده، او را زنده سازی، آنگاه آن شریر درگناهش خواهد مرد، اما خون او را از دست توخواهم طلبید.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked man, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity, but thou have delivered thy soul.

۱۹ لیکن اگر تو مرد شریر را تهدیدکنی و او از شرارت خود و طریق بد خویش بازگشت نکند او در گناه خود خواهد مرد، اما توجان خود را نجات داده‌ای.

20 Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because thou have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered, but I will require his blood at thy hand.

۲۰ و اگر مرد عادل ازعدالت خود برگردد و گناه ورزد و من سنگی مصادم پیش وی بنهم تا بمیرد، چونکه تو او راتهدید ننمودی، او در گناه خود خواهد مرد و عدالتی که بعمل آورده بود به یاد آورده نخواهدشد. لیکن خون او را از دست تو خواهم طلبید.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous man not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and thou have delivered thy soul.

۲۱ و اگر تو مرد عادل را تهدید کنی که آن مردعادل گناه نکند و او خطا نورزد البته زنده خواهدماند، چونکه تهدید پذیرفته است و تو جان خودرا نجات داده‌ای.»

22 And the hand of Jehovah was there upon me, and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will talk with thee there.

۲۲ و دست خداوند در آنجا بر من نهاده شد واو مرا گفت: «برخیز و به هامون بیرون شو که درآنجا با تو سخن خواهم گفت.»

23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain. And, behold, the glory of Jehovah stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face.

۲۳ پس برخاسته، به هامون بیرون رفتم و اینک جلال خداوند مثل جلالی که نزد نهر خابور دیده بودم، در آنجا برپاشد و من به روی خود درافتادم.

24 Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet. And he spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut thyself within thy house.

۲۴ و روح داخل من شده، مرا بر پایهایم برپا داشت و او مرا خطاب کرده، گفت: «برو و خویشتن را در خانه خود ببند.

25 But thou, son of man, behold, they shall lay bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shall not escape from them.

۲۵ و اما تو‌ای پسر انسان اینک بندها بر توخواهند نهاد و تو را به آنها خواهند بست اما درمیان ایشان بیرون مرو.

26 And I will make thy tongue cling to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shall be mute, and shall not be a reprover to them, for they are a rebellious house.

۲۶ و من زبان تو را به کامت خواهم چسبانید تا گنگ شده، برای ایشان ناصح نباشی. زیرا که ایشان خاندان فتنه انگیز می‌باشند.

27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shall say to them, Thus says the lord Jehovah. He who hears, let him hear, and he who forbears, let him forbear, for they are a rebellious house.

۲۷ اما وقتی که من با تو تکلم نمایم، آنگاه دهان تورا خواهم گشود و به ایشان خواهی گفت: خداوندیهوه چنین می‌فرماید. آنگاه آنکه شنوا باشدبشنود و آنکه ابا نماید ابا کند. زیرا که ایشان خاندان فتنه انگیز می‌باشند.»
