Ezekiel 29
1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
दसवें साल के, दसवें माह के बारहवें दिन, याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
2 Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt.
“हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, अपने मुंह को मिस्र देश के राजा फ़रोह की ओर करके उसके और सारे मिस्र के विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करो.
3 Speak, and say, Thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, that has said, My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.
तुम यह कहो: ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘हे मिस्र के राजा फ़रोह, मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध हूं; तुम वह विशाल जंतु हो, जो अपने जल-सोतों के बीच पड़े रहते हो. तुम कहते हो, “नील नदी मेरी है; मैंने इसे अपने लिये बनाया है.”
4 And I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick to thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, with all the fish of thy rivers which stick to thy scales.
परंतु मैं तुम्हारे जबड़ों में अंकुड़ी (कांटा) लगाऊंगा और तुम्हारे सोतों की मछलियों को तुम्हारे खाल पर चिपका दूंगा. तब मैं तुम्हें तुम्हारे सोतों से बाहर खींच लूंगा, और सब मछलियां तुम्हारे खाल से चिपकी होंगी.
5 And I will cast thee forth into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers. Thou shall fall upon the open field. Thou shall not be brought together, nor gathered. I have given thee for food to the beasts of the earth and to the birds of the heavens.
मैं तुम्हें और तुम्हारे सोतों की सब मछलियों को निर्जन प्रदेश में छोड़ दूंगा. तुम खुले मैदान में जा गिरोगे और तुम्हें इकट्ठा किया नहीं जाएगा या उठाया नहीं जाएगा. मैं तुम्हें भोजन के रूप में पृथ्वी के पशुओं और आकाश के चिड़ियों को दे दूंगा.
6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am Jehovah, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
तब वे सब जो मिस्र में रहते हैं, जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं. “‘तुम इस्राएल के लोगों के लिये सरकंडे की एक लाठी बन गये हो.
7 When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou broke, and tore all their shoulders. And when they leaned upon thee, thou broke, and made all their loins to be at a stand still.
जब उन्होंने तुम्हें अपने हाथों से पकड़ा, तो तुमने चीर दिया और तुमने उनके कंधों को फाड़कर उखाड़ दिया; जब वे तुम पर झुके, तो तुमने तोड़ा और उनकी पीठ में मरोड़ आ गई.
8 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and will cut off from thee man and beast.
“‘इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध तलवार चलाऊंगा और मनुष्य और पशु दोनों को मार डालूंगा.
9 And the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste. And they shall know that I am Jehovah. Because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it,
मिस्र देश निर्जन एवं उजाड़ हो जाएगा. तब वे जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं. “‘क्योंकि तुमने कहा है, “नील नदी मेरी है; मैंने इसे बनाया है,”
10 therefore, behold, I am against thee, and against thy rivers. And I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.
इसलिये मैं तुम्हारे और तुम्हारे पानी के सोतों के विरुद्ध हूं, और मैं मिस्र देश को मिगदोल से लेकर सवेने तक, वरन कूश की सीमा तक खंडहर कर दूंगा और उजाड़ दूंगा.
11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it. Neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
न तो कोई मनुष्य और न ही कोई पशु वहां से होकर गुज़रेगा; वहां चालीस साल तक कोई नहीं रहेगा.
12 And I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolate. And her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be a desolation forty years. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
मैं बरबाद हुए देशों के बीच मिस्र देश को उजाड़ दूंगा, और उसके शहर नष्ट हुए शहरों के बीच चालीस साल तक उजाड़ पड़े रहेंगे. और मैं मिस्रवासियों को जाति-जाति के लोगों के बीच छिन्न-भिन्न कर दूंगा और उनको विभिन्न देशों में इधर-उधर फैला दूंगा.
13 For thus says the lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered,
“‘तौभी परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: चालीस साल के बीतने पर मैं मिस्रवासियों को उन जनताओं के बीच से इकट्ठा करूंगा, जहां वे तितर-बितर कर दिये गये थे.
14 and I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth. And they shall be a base kingdom there.
मैं उन्हें बंधुआई से वापस ले आऊंगा और उन्हें ऊपरी मिस्र में लौटा लाऊंगा, जो उनके पूर्वजों का देश है. वहां वे एक निचले दर्जे का राज्य होंगे.
15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms, nor shall it lift itself up any more above the nations. And I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
यह सब राज्यों में सबसे निचले दर्जे का राज्य होगा और यह अपने आपको फिर कभी दूसरे जातियों से ऊपर उठा न सकेगा. मैं इसे इतना कमजोर कर दूंगा कि यह फिर कभी जाति-जाति के लोगों पर शासन करने न पाएगा.
16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they turn to look after them. And they shall know that I am the lord Jehovah.
मिस्र फिर इस्राएल के लोगों के भरोसे का कारण नहीं होगा पर यह इस्राएल को उनके उस पाप की याद दिलाता रहेगा, जब उन्होंने सहायता के लिए मिस्र से अपेक्षा की थी. तब वे जानेंगे कि मैं परम प्रधान याहवेह हूं.’”
17 And it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
फिर सत्ताईसवें वर्ष के पहले माह के पहले दिन, याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn, yet he had no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.
“हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेज्ज़र ने अपनी सेना से सोर के विरुद्ध एक कठोर सैनिक अभियान करवाया; हर एक का सिर गंजा हो गया और हर एक का कंधा छिल गया. फिर भी उसे और उसकी सेना को सोर के विरुद्ध किए गए सैनिक अभियान से कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ.
19 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall carry off her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey. And it shall be the wages for his army.
इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं मिस्र देश को बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेज्ज़र के अधीन करनेवाला हूं, और वह मिस्र की संपत्ति को ले जाएगा. वह अपनी सेना के भुगतान के रूप में मिस्र देश को लूटेगा और उसके चीज़ों को छीन लेगा.
20 I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they worked for me, says the lord Jehovah.
मैंने उसके प्रयत्न करने के कारण उसे मिस्र देश को एक ईनाम के रूप में दिया है, क्योंकि उसने और उसकी सेना ने यह काम मेरे लिये किया, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.
21 In that day I will cause a horn to bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
“उस दिन मैं इस्राएलियों के लिये एक सींग उगाऊंगा, और मैं उनके बीच तुम्हारे मुंह को खोलूंगा. तब वे जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं.”
