Ezekiel 16
1 Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων,
2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Υιέ ανθρώπου, κάμε την Ιερουσαλήμ να γνωρίση τα βδελύγματα αυτής,
3 and say, Thus says the lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity is from the land of the Canaanite. The Amorite was thy father, and thy mother was a Hittite.
και ειπέ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός προς την Ιερουσαλήμ· Η ρίζα σου και η γέννησίς σου είναι εκ της γης των Χαναναίων· ο πατήρ σου Αμορραίος και η μήτηρ σου Χετταία.
4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou were born thy navel was not cut, nor were thou washed in water to cleanse thee. Thou were not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
Εις δε την γέννησίν σου, καθ' ην ημέραν εγεννήθης, ο ομφαλός σου δεν εκόπη και εν ύδατι δεν ελούσθης, διά να καθαρισθής, και με άλας δεν ηλατίσθης και εν σπαργάνοις δεν εσπαργανώθης.
5 No eye pitied thee, to do any of these things to thee, to have compassion upon thee, but thou were cast out in the open field. For thy person was abhorred, in the day that thou were born.
Οφθαλμός δεν σε εφείσθη, διά να κάμη εις σε τι εκ τούτων, ώστε να σε σπλαγχνισθή· αλλ' ήσο απερριμμένη εις το πρόσωπον της πεδιάδος, εν τη αποστροφή της ψυχής σου, καθ' ην ημέραν εγεννήθης.
6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee weltering in thy blood, I said to thee, in thy blood, Live! Yea, I said to thee, in thy blood, Live!
Και ότε διέβην από πλησίον σου και σε είδον κυλιομένην εν τω αίματί σου, είπα προς σε ευρισκομένην εν τω αίματί σου, Ζήθι· ναι, είπα προς σε ευρισκομένην εν τω αίματί σου, Ζήθι.
7 I caused thee to multiply as that which grows in the field, and thou increased and grew great. And thou attained to excellent ornament, thy breasts were fashioned, and thy hair was grown. Yet thou were naked and bare.
Και σε έκαμον μυριοπλάσιον, ως την χλόην του αγρού, και ηυξήνθης και εμεγαλύνθης και έφθασας εις το άκρον της ώραιότητος· οι μαστοί σου εμορφώθησαν και αι τρίχες σου ανεφύησαν· ήσο όμως γυμνή και ασκέπαστος.
8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness. Yea, I swore to thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, says the lord Jehovah, and thou became mine.
Και ότε διέβην από πλησίον σου και σε είδον, ιδού, η ηλικία σου ήτο ηλικία έρωτος· και απλώσας το κράσπεδόν μου επί σε, εσκέπασα την ασχημοσύνην σου· και ώμοσα προς σε και εισήλθον εις συνθήκην μετά σου, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός, και έγεινες εμού.
9 Then I washed thee with water. Yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
Και σε έλουσα εν ύδατι και απέπλυνα το αίμα σου από σου και σε έχρισα εν ελαίω.
10 I also clothed thee with embroidered work, and shod thee with a certain skin. And I girded thee around with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.
Και σε ενέδυσα κεντητά και σε υπέδησα με σανδάλια υακίνθινα και σε περιέζωσα με βύσσον και σε εφόρεσα μεταξωτά.
11 And I decked thee with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.
Και σε εστόλισα με στολίδια και περιέθεσα εις τας χείρας σου βραχιόλια και περιδέραιον επί τον τράχηλόν σου.
12 And I put a ring upon thy nose, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thy head.
Και έβαλον έρρινα εις τους μυκτήράς σου και ενώτια εις τα ώτα σου και στέφανον δόξης επί την κεφαλήν σου.
13 Thus thou were decked with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and embroidered work. Thou ate fine flour, and honey, and oil. And thou were very beautiful, and thou prospered to royalty.
Και εστολίσθης με χρυσίον και αργύριον, και τα ιμάτιά σου ήσαν βύσσινα και μεταξωτά και κεντητά· σεμίδαλιν και μέλι και έλαιον έτρωγες· και έγεινες ώραία σφόδρα και ευημέρησας μέχρι βασιλείας.
14 And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty. For it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put upon thee, says the lord Jehovah.
Και εξήλθεν η φήμη σου μεταξύ των εθνών διά το κάλλος σου· διότι ήτο τέλειον διά του στολισμού μου, τον οποίον έθεσα επί σε, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.
15 But thou trusted in thy beauty, and played the harlot because of thy renown, and poured out thy whoredoms on everyone who passed by; his it was.
Συ όμως εθαρρεύθης εις το κάλλος σου, και επορνεύθης διά την φήμην σου και εξέχεας την πορνείαν σου εις πάντα διαβάτην, γινομένη αυτού.
16 And thou took of thy garments, and made high places for thee, decked with various colors, and played the harlot upon them, things which should not come, nor should it be.
Και έλαβες εκ των ιματίων σου και εστόλισας τους υψηλούς σου τόπους με ποικίλα χρώματα και εξεπορνεύθης απ' αυτών· τοιαύτα δεν έγειναν ουδέ θέλουσι γείνει.
17 Thou also took thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and made for thee images of men, and played the harlot with them.
Και έλαβες τα σκεύη της λαμπρότητός σου, τα εκ του χρυσίου μου και τα εκ του αργυρίου μου, τα οποία έδωκα εις σε, και έκαμες εις σεαυτήν εικόνας αρσενικάς και εξεπορνεύθης με αυτάς·
18 And thou took thy embroidered garments, and covered them, and set my oil and my incense before them.
και έλαβες τα κεντητά σου ιμάτια και εσκέπασας αυτάς· και έθεσας έμπροσθεν αυτών το έλαιόν μου και το θυμίαμά μου.
19 My bread also which I gave thee, fine flour and oil and honey, with which I fed thee, thou even set it before them for a sweet savor, and thus it was, says the lord Jehovah.
Και τον άρτον μου, τον οποίον έδωκα εις σε, την σεμίδαλιν και το έλαιον και το μέλι, με τα οποία σε έτρεφον, έθεσας και ταύτα έμπροσθεν αυτών εις οσμήν ευωδίας· ούτως έγεινε, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.
20 Moreover thou have taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou have borne to me, and thou have sacrificed these to them to be devoured. Were thy whoredoms a small matter,
Και έλαβες τους υιούς σου και τας θυγατέρας σου, τας οποίας εγέννησας εις εμέ, και ταύτα εθυσίασας εις αυτάς, διά να αναλωθώσιν εν τω πυρί· μικρόν έργον των πορνεύσεών σου ήτο τούτο,
21 that thou have slain my children, and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through the fire to them?
ότι έσφαξας τα τέκνα μου και παρέδωκας αυτά διά να διαβιβάσωσιν αυτά διά του πυρός εις τιμήν αυτών;
22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou have not remembered the days of thy youth when thou were naked and bare, and were weltering in thy blood.
Και εν πάσι τοις βδελύγμασί σου και ταις πορνείαις σου δεν ενεθυμήθης ταις ημέρας της νεότητός σου, ότε ήσο γυμνή και ασκέπαστος, κυλιομένη εν τω αίματί σου.
23 And it has come to pass according to all thy wickedness, (woe, woe to thee! says the lord Jehovah),
Και μετά πάσας τας κακίας σου, Ουαί, ουαί εις σε, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός,
24 that thou have built thyself a vaulted place, and have made thee a lofty place in every street.
έκτισας και εις σεαυτήν οίκημα πορνικόν και έκαμες εις σεαυτήν πορνοστάσιον εν πάση πλατεία.
25 Thou have built thy lofty place at the head of every way, and have made thy beauty an abomination. And have opened thy feet to everyone who passed by, and multiplied thy whoredom.
Εις πάσαν αρχήν οδού ωκοδόμησας το πορνοστάσιόν σου και έκαμες το κάλλος σου βδελυκτόν και ήνοιξας τους πόδας σου εις πάντα διαβάτην, και επλήθυνας την πορνείαν σου.
26 Thou have also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, great of flesh, and have multiplied thy whoredom, to provoke me to anger.
Και εξεπορνεύθης με τους Αιγυπτίους τους πλησιοχώρους σου, τους μεγαλοσάρκους· και επολλαπλασίασας την πορνείαν σου, διά να με παροργίσης.
27 Behold therefore, I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thy portion, and delivered thee to the will of those who hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.
Ιδού λοιπόν, εξήπλωσα την χείρα μου επί σε, και αφήρεσα τα νενομισμένα σου, και σε παρέδωκα εις την θέλησιν εκείνων αίτινες σε εμίσουν, των θυγατέρων των Φιλισταίων, αίτινες εντρέπονται διά την οδόν σου την αισχράν.
28 Thou have played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou were insatiable. Yea, thou have played the harlot with them, and yet thou were not satisfied.
Και εξεπορνεύθης με τους Ασσυρίους, διότι ήσο άπληστος· ναι, εξεπορνεύθης με αυτούς και έτι δεν εχορτάσθης.
29 Thou have moreover multiplied thy whoredom to the land of traffic, to Chaldea, and yet thou were not satisfied with this.
Και επολλαπλασίασας την πορνείαν σου εν γη Χαναάν μέχρι των Χαλδαίων· και ουδέ ούτως εχορτάσθης.
30 How weak is thy heart, says the lord Jehovah, seeing thou do all these things, the work of an impudent harlot,
Πόσον διεφθάρη η καρδία σου, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός, επειδή πράττεις πάντα ταύτα, έργα της πλέον αναισχύντου πόρνης.
31 in that thou build thy vaulted place at the head of every way, and make thy lofty place in every street. And have not even been as a harlot, in that thou scorn hire.
Διότι έκτισας το πορνικόν οίκημά σου εν τη αρχή πάσης οδού, και έκαμες το πορνοστάσιόν σου εν πάση πλατεία· και δεν εστάθης ως πόρνη, καθότι κατεφρόνησας μίσθωμα,
32 A wife who commits adultery, who takes strangers instead of her husband!
αλλ' ως γυνή μοιχαλίς, αντί του ανδρός αυτής δεχομένη ξένους.
33 They give gifts to all harlots, but thou give thy gifts to all thy lovers, and bribe them, that they may come to thee on every side for thy whoredoms.
Εις πάσας τας πόρνας δίδουσι μίσθωμα· αλλά συ τα μισθώματά σου δίδεις εις πάντας τους εραστάς σου και διαφθείρεις αυτούς, διά να εισέρχωνται προς σε πανταχόθεν επί τη πορνεία σου.
34 And thou are different from other women in thy whoredoms, in that none follows thee to play the harlot. And whereas thou give a wage, and no wage is given to thee, therefore thou are different.
Και γίνεται εις σε το ανάπαλιν των άλλων γυναικών εν ταις πορνείαις σου· διότι δεν σε ακολουθεί ουδείς διά να πράξη πορνείαν· καθότι συ δίδεις μίσθωμα και μίσθωμα δεν δίδεται εις σε, κατά τούτο γίνεται εις σε το ανάπαλιν.
35 Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of Jehovah.
Διά τούτο, άκουσον, πόρνη, τον λόγον του Κυρίου·
36 Thus says the lord Jehovah: Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness uncovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and because of all the idols of thy abominations, and for the blood of thy sons, that thou gave to them,
ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή εξέχεας τον χαλκόν σου, και η γύμνωσίς σου εξεσκεπάσθη εν ταις πορνείαις σου προς τους εραστάς σου και προς πάντα τα είδωλα των βδελυγμάτων σου, και διά το αίμα των τέκνων σου, τα οποία προσέφερες εις αυτά·
37 therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou have taken pleasure, and all those whom thou have loved, with all those whom thou have hated, I will even gather them against thee on every side. And I will uncover thy nakedness to them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
διά τούτο ιδού, εγώ συνάγω πάντας τους εραστάς σου, μεθ' ων κατετρύφησας, και πάντας όσους ηγάπησας, μετά πάντων των μισηθέντων υπό σού· και θέλω συνάξει αυτούς επί σε πανταχόθεν και θέλω αποκαλύψει την αισχύνην σου εις αυτούς, και θέλουσιν ιδεί όλην την γύμνωσίν σου.
38 And I will judge thee, as women who break wedlock and shed blood are judged. And I will bring upon thee the blood of wrath and jealousy.
Και θέλω σε κρίνει κατά την κρίσιν των μοιχαλίδων και εκχεουσών αίμα· και θέλω σε παραδώσει εις αίμα μετ' οργής και ζηλοτυπίας.
39 I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thy vaulted place, and break down thy lofty places. And they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take thy fair jewels, and they shall leave thee naked and bare.
Και θέλω σε παραδώσει εις την χείρα αυτών· και θέλουσι κατασκάψει το πορνικόν οίκημά σου και κατεδαφίσει τους υψηλούς τόπους σου θέλουσιν ότι σε εκδύσει τα ιμάτιά σου και αφαιρέσει τους στολισμούς της λαμπρότητός σου και θέλουσι σε αφήσει γυμνήν και ασκέπαστον.
40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.
Και θέλουσι φέρει επί σε όχλους, οίτινες θέλουσι σε λιθοβολήσει με λίθους και σε διαπεράσει με τα ξίφη αυτών.
41 And they shall burn thy houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women. And I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shall also give no wage any more.
Και θέλουσι κατακαύσει εν πυρί τας οικίας σου, και θέλουσιν εκτελέσει επί σε κρίσεις ενώπιον πολλών γυναικών· και θέλω σε κάμει να παύσης από της πορνείας, και δεν θέλεις δίδει του λοιπού μίσθωμα.
42 So I will cause my wrath toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will no more be angry.
Και θέλω αναπαύσει τον θυμόν μου επί σε, και η ζηλοτυπία μου θέλει σηκωθή από σου, και θέλω ησυχάσει και δεν θέλω οργισθή πλέον.
43 Because thou have not remembered the days of thy youth, but have raged against me in all these things, therefore, behold, I also will bring thy way upon thy head, says the lord Jehovah. And thou shall not commit this lewdness with all thine abominations.
Επειδή δεν ενεθυμήθης τας ημέρας της νεότητός σου, αλλά με παρώξυνας εν πάσι τούτοις, διά τούτο ιδού, και εγώ θέλω ανταποδώσει τας οδούς σου επί της κεφαλής σου, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· και δεν θέλεις κάμει κατά την ασέβειαν ταύτην επί πάσι τοις βδελύγμασί σου.
44 Behold, everyone who uses proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
Ιδού, πας ο παροιμιαζόμενος θέλει παροιμιασθή κατά σου, λέγων, κατά την μητέρα η θυγάτηρ αυτής.
45 Thou are the daughter of thy mother, who loathes her husband and her sons. And thou are the sister of thy sisters, who loathed their husbands and their sons. Your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
Συ είσαι η θυγάτηρ της μητρός σου, της αποβαλούσης τον άνδρα αυτής και τα τέκνα αυτής· και είσαι η αδελφή των αδελφών σου, αίτινες απέβαλον τους άνδρας αυτών και τα τέκνα αυτών· η μήτηρ σας ήτο Χετταία και ο πατήρ σας Αμορραίος.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, who dwells at thy left hand, she and her daughters. And thy younger sister, who dwells at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
Και η αδελφή σου η πρεσβυτέρα είναι η Σαμάρεια, αυτή και αι θυγατέρες αυτής, αι κατοικούσαι εν τοις αριστεροίς σου· η δε νεωτέρα αδελφή σου, η κατοικούσα εν τοις δεξιοίς σου, τα Σόδομα και αι θυγατέρες αυτής.
47 Yet thou have not walked in their ways, nor done according to their abominations, but, like it was a very little thing, thou were more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
Συ όμως δεν περιεπάτησας κατά τας οδούς αυτών και δεν έπραξας κατά τα βδελύγματα αυτών· αλλ' ως εάν ήτο τούτο πολύ μικρόν, υπερέβης αυτών την διαφθοράν εν πάσαις ταις οδοίς σου.
48 As I live, says the lord Jehovah, Sodom thy sister has not done, she nor her daughters, as thou have done, thou and thy daughters.
Ζω εγώ, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός, η αδελφή σου Σόδομα δεν έπραξεν, αυτή και αι θυγατέρες αυτής, ως έπραξας συ και αι θυγατέρες σου.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fullness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters, and she did not strengthen the hand of a poor and needy man.
Ιδού, αύτη ήτο η ανομία της αδελφής σου Σοδόμων, υπερηφανία, πλησμονή άρτου και αφθονία τρυφηλότητος, αυτής και των θυγατέρων αυτής· τον πτωχόν δε και τον ενδεή δεν εβοήθει
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me. Therefore I took them away as I saw fit.
και υψούντο και έπραττον βδελυρά ενώπιόν μου· όθεν, καθώς είδον ταύτα, ηφάνισα αυτάς.
51 Neither has Samaria committed half of thy sins, but thou have multiplied thine abominations more than they, and have justified thy sisters by all thine abominations which thou have done.
Και η Σαμάρεια δεν ημάρτησεν ουδέ το ήμισυ των αμαρτημάτων σου· αλλά συ επλήθυνας τα βδελύγματά σου υπέρ εκείνας και εδικαίωσας τας αδελφάς σου με πάντα τα βδελύγματά σου, τα οποία έπραξας.
52 Thou also, bear thou thine own shame, in that thou have given judgment for thy sisters, through thy sins that thou have committed more abominable than they. They are more righteous than thou. Yea, be thou also confounded, and bear thy shame, in that thou have justified thy sisters.
Συ λοιπόν, ήτις έκρινες τας αδελφάς σου, βάσταζε την καταισχύνην σου· ένεκα των αμαρτημάτων σου, με τα οποία κατεστάθης βδελυρωτέρα εκείνων, εκείναι είναι δικαιότεραί σου· όθεν αισχύνθητι και συ και βάσταζε την καταισχύνην σου, ότι εδικαίωσας τας αδελφάς σου.
53 And I will turn back again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them,
Όταν φέρω οπίσω τους αιχμαλώτους αυτών, τους αιχμαλώτους Σοδόμων και των θυγατέρων αυτής και τους αιχμαλώτους της Σαμαρείας και των θυγατέρων αυτής, τότε θέλω επιστρέψει και τους αιχμαλώτους της αιχμαλωσίας σου μεταξύ αυτών·
54 that thou may bear thine own shame, and may be ashamed because of all that thou have done, in that thou are a comfort to them.
διά να βαστάζης την ατιμίαν σου και να καταισχύνησαι διά πάντα όσα έπραξας και να ήσαι παρηγορία εις αυτάς.
55 And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
Όταν η αδελφή σου Σόδομα και αι θυγατέρες αυτής επιστρέψωσιν εις την προτέραν αυτών κατάστασιν, και η Σαμάρεια και αι θυγατέρες αυτής επιστρέψωσιν εις την προτέραν αυτών κατάστασιν, τότε θέλεις επιστρέψει συ και αι θυγατέρες σου εις την προτέραν σας κατάστασιν.
56 For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,
Διότι η αδελφή σου Σόδομα δεν ανεφέρθη εκ του στόματός σου εν ταις ημέραις της υπερηφανίας σου,
57 before thy wickedness was uncovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all who are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, who do despite to thee round about.
πριν ανακαλυφθή η κακία σου, καθώς ανεκαλύφθη εν καιρώ του γενομένου εις σε ονείδους υπό των θυγατέρων της Συρίας και πασών των πέριξ αυτής, των θυγατέρων των Φιλισταίων, αίτινες σε ελεηλάτησαν πανταχόθεν.
58 Thou have borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, says Jehovah.
Συ εβάστασας την ασέβειάν σου και τα βδελύγματά σου, λέγει Κύριος.
59 For thus says the lord Jehovah: I will also deal with thee as thou have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
Διότι ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Εγώ θέλω κάμει εις σε καθώς έκαμες συ, ήτις κατεφρόνησας τον όρκον, παραβαίνουσα την διαθήκην.
60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish to thee an everlasting covenant.
Αλλ' όμως θέλω ενθυμηθή την διαθήκην μου την γενομένην προς σε εν ταις ημέραις της νεότητός σου, και θέλω στήσει εις σε διαθήκην αιώνιον.
61 Then thou shall remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shall receive thy sisters, thine elder sisters and thy younger, and I will give them to thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
Τότε θέλεις ενθυμηθή τας οδούς σου και αισχυνθή, όταν δεχθής τας αδελφάς σου, τας πρεσβυτέρας σου και τας νεωτέρας σου· και θέλω δώσει αυτάς εις σε διά θυγατέρας, ουχί όμως κατά την διαθήκην σου.
62 And I will establish my covenant with thee, and thou shall know that I am Jehovah,
Και εγώ θέλω στήσει την διαθήκην μου προς σε, και θέλεις γνωρίσει έτι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος·
63 that thou may remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame, when I have forgiven thee all that thou have done, says the lord Jehovah.
διά να ενθυμηθής, και να αισχυνθής και να μη ανοίξης πλέον το στόμα σου υπό της εντροπής σου, όταν εξιλεωθώ προς σε διά πάντα όσα έπραξας, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.
