Ezekiel 13

1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

അതിനുശേഷം യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഇപ്രകാരം എനിക്കുണ്ടായി:

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say thou to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah.

“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഇസ്രായേലിൽ പ്രവചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ച് നീ ഇപ്രകാരം പ്രവചിക്കുക. സ്വന്തം ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ!

3 Thus says the lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സ്വന്തം സങ്കൽപ്പം പിൻതുടരുകയും യാതൊന്നും കാണാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ബുദ്ധിഹീനരായ പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

4 O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.

ഇസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ നാശകൂമ്പാരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലെ കുറുക്കന്മാർക്കു സമം.

5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.

യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസത്തിലെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ മതിലുകൾ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്, അതിൽ പിളർപ്പുണ്ടായ ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തിനുവേണ്ടി കെട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾ പോയിട്ടില്ല.

6 They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Jehovah says, but Jehovah has not sent them. And they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

യഹോവ തങ്ങളെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ലാതിരിക്കെ, “യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു പറയുന്നവരുടെ ദർശനങ്ങൾ വ്യാജവും ദേവപ്രശ്നം കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും തങ്ങളുടെ വചനം നിറവേറുമെന്ന് അവർ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു.

7 Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, in that ye say, Jehovah says, albeit I have not spoken?

ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കാതിരിക്കെ, “യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ ഒരു വ്യാജദർശനം കാണുകയും കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദേവപ്രശ്നം പറയുകയുമല്ലേ ചെയ്തത്?

8 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the lord Jehovah.

“‘അതിനാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്യാജസംസാരവും കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദർശനവുംമൂലം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എതിരായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

9 And my hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the lord Jehovah.

വ്യാജദർശനങ്ങൾ കാണുകയും കബളിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദേവപ്രശ്നം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്ക് എന്റെ ഭുജം എതിരായിരിക്കും. എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനാസഭയിൽ അവർക്കു സ്ഥാനം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയോ ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പേരുവിവരപ്പട്ടികയിൽ അവരുടെ പേര് എഴുതപ്പെടുകയോ അവർ ഇസ്രായേൽദേശത്തു കടക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല. അങ്ങനെ, ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace, and there is no peace, and when a man builds up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar,

“‘സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കെ “സമാധാനം,” എന്ന് ഉദ്ഘോഷിച്ച് അവർ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുകയാലും ബലമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു മതിൽ പണിത് അവർ അതിനു വെള്ളപൂശുകയാലുമാണ് ഇപ്രകാരം സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്.

11 say to those who daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall. There shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.

അതുകൊണ്ട്, വെള്ളപൂശുന്നവരോട് ആ മതിൽ വേഗം ഇടിഞ്ഞുവീഴും എന്നു പറയുക. മലവെള്ളപ്പാച്ചിൽപോലെ മഴപെയ്യും; മഞ്ഞുകട്ടക‍ൾ വർഷിക്കും; കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് ചീറിയടിക്കും.

12 Lo, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed it?

അങ്ങനെ മതിൽ നിലംപൊത്തുമ്പോൾ “നിങ്ങൾ പൂശിയ കുമ്മായം എവിടെ എന്ന് നിങ്ങളോട് ആളുകൾ ചോദിക്കുകയില്ലേ?”

13 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath, and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

“‘അതിനാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് അഴിച്ചുവിടും; എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ മഞ്ഞുകട്ടകളും മഴവെള്ളപ്പാച്ചിലും വിനാശകാരിയായ രൗദ്രത്തോടെ പതിക്കും.

14 So I will break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered. And it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst of it. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

നിങ്ങൾ വെള്ളപൂശിയ മതിൽ, അതിന്റെ അടിത്തറ തെളിഞ്ഞുകാണുന്നവിധം ഞാൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും. അതു വീഴുമ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നിങ്ങൾ നാശമടയും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുകയും ചെയ്യും.

15 Thus I will accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon those who have daubed it with untempered mortar. And I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who daubed it,

അങ്ങനെ ആ മതിലിന്മേലും അതിനു വെള്ളപൂശിയവരുടെമേലും എന്റെ ക്രോധം ഞാൻ നിറവേറ്റും; “മതിലും അതിനു വെള്ളപൂശിയവരും നീങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കും.

16 namely, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the lord Jehovah.

ജെറുശലേമിനോടു പ്രവചിക്കുകയും സമാധാനമില്ലാതിരിക്കെ അതിനു സമാധാനം ദർശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇസ്രായേലിലെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കർത്താവായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.”’

17 And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart, and prophesy thou against them.

“ഇപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, സ്വന്തം ഭാവനയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ചു പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുടെ നേരേ മുഖം തിരിക്കുക. അവർക്കെതിരേ പ്രവചിച്ച്

18 And say, Thus says the lord Jehovah: Woe to the women who sew pillows upon all elbows, and make headdresses for the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?

പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ജനത്തെ കെണിയിൽപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് എല്ലാ കൈത്തണ്ടകളിലും കെട്ടുന്നതിനുള്ള മാന്ത്രികച്ചരടു നെയ്യുകയും പല അളവുകളിലുള്ള ശിരോവസ്ത്രം നിർമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ജീവൻ കെണിയിൽ അകപ്പെടുത്തുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ജനത്തെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമെന്നോ?

19 And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.

എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മധ്യത്തിൽ ഒരുപിടി യവത്തിനും ഏതാനും അപ്പക്കഷണങ്ങൾക്കുംവേണ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വ്യാജം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നവരായ എന്റെ ജനത്തോടു നിങ്ങൾ വ്യാജം പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്, വധിക്കപ്പെടാൻ പാടില്ലാത്തവരെ വധിക്കുകയും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കാൻ പാടില്ലാത്തവരെ ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

20 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, with which ye hunt the souls there to make fly, and I will tear them from your arms. And I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make fly.

“‘അതിനാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: പക്ഷികളെയെന്നപോലെ ആളുകളെ കെണിയിൽപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മാന്ത്രികച്ചരടുകളോടു ഞാൻ എതിർത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ അവയെ ചീന്തിക്കളയും; പക്ഷികളെയെന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ വേട്ടയാടിയ ജീവിതങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ വിടുവിക്കും.

21 I will also tear your headdresses, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be hunted. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

നിങ്ങളുടെ മൂടുപടങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ ചീന്തിക്കളഞ്ഞ് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും. മേലാൽ വേട്ടയാടപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന് അവർ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അധീനരായിരിക്കുകയില്ല; അങ്ങനെ, ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

22 Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.

നീതിനിഷ്ഠർക്കു ഞാൻ ദുഃഖം വരുത്താതിരിക്കെ, നിങ്ങൾ വ്യാജംപറഞ്ഞ് അവരെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കും. ദുഷ്ടർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്ടത വിട്ടുതിരിയാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ ജീവൻ നിങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്,

23 Therefore ye shall no more see false visions, nor divine divinations. And I will deliver my people out of your hand. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

നിങ്ങൾ മേലാൽ വ്യാജദർശനങ്ങൾ കാണുകയോ ദേവപ്രശ്നംവെക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.’”
