< Ezekiel 13 >

1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
Yehowa ƒe nya va nam be,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say thou to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah.
“Ame vi, gblɔ nya ɖi ɖe Israel ƒe nyagblɔɖila siwo le nya gblɔm ɖi fifia la ŋu. Gblɔe na wo dometɔ siwo gblɔa nya ɖi tso woawo ŋutɔ ƒe susu me be, ‘Mise Yehowa ƒe nya!’”
3 Thus says the lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si. Baba na nyagblɔɖila siwo nye abunɛtɔwo, ame siwo dzea woawo ŋutɔ ƒe gbɔgbɔ yome, eye womekpɔa naneke o!
4 O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.
Mieyi glia ƒe gbagbãƒewo ne miadzrae ɖo na Israel ƒe aƒe la, ale be wòate ŋu anɔ te sesĩe le aʋa me le Yehowa ƒe ŋkeke la dzi o.
6 They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Jehovah says, but Jehovah has not sent them. And they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
Woƒe ŋutegawo nye aʋatso, eye woƒe nukakawo nye alakpa; wogblɔna be, “Yehowae gblɔe,” le esime Yehowa medɔ wo o, ke wokpɔa mɔ be, yewoƒe nyawo nava eme.
7 Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, in that ye say, Jehovah says, albeit I have not spoken?
Ɖe miekpɔa aʋatsoŋutegawo, eye miekaa alakpanu esi miegblɔ be, “Yehowae gblɔe” evɔ nyemegblɔ nenema oa?
8 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the lord Jehovah.
“Eya ta ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Le miaƒe nya dzodzrowo kple miaƒe alakpaŋutegawo ta la, metso ɖe mia ŋu. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.
9 And my hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the lord Jehovah.
Makɔ nye asi dzi ɖe nyagblɔɖila siwo kpɔa alakpaŋutegawo ŋu, eye womanɔ nye amewo ƒe aɖaŋudelawo dome o. Wokaa aʋatsonukakawo, womaŋlɔ woƒe ŋkɔwo ɖe Israel ƒe aƒemetɔwo dome o, eye womage ɖe Israel ƒe anyigba dzi hã o. Ekema mianya be, nyee nye Aƒetɔ Yehowa.’”
10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace, and there is no peace, and when a man builds up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar,
“Le esime wokplɔ nye amewo trae to gbɔgblɔ me be, ‘Ŋutifafa’ li, esime ŋutifafa menɔ anyi o, eye ne wotu gli masemasẽ aɖe la, wosiaa akalo nɛ la,
11 say to those who daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall. There shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12 Lo, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed it?
Ne gli la mu la, ɖe amewo mabia mi be, ‘Afi ka akalo si miesi nɛ la le o’ mahã?”
13 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath, and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
“Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Eya ta le nye dɔmedzoe me la, mana ya sesẽ aɖe naƒo, eye le nye dziku me la, mana tsikpe kple tsi nadza bababa, eye woagblẽ nu.
14 So I will break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered. And it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst of it. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
Mamu gli si miesi akalo na, magbãe wòasɔ kple anyigba, ale be eƒe gɔmeɖoɖo natsi gota. Ne emu la, atsrɔ̃ mi, ekema mianyae be, nyee nye Yehowa.
15 Thus I will accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon those who have daubed it with untempered mortar. And I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who daubed it,
16 namely, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the lord Jehovah.
Israel ƒe nyagblɔɖila siwo gblɔ nya ɖi le Yerusalem la, kpɔ ŋutifafa ƒe ŋutega, le esime ŋutifafa aɖeke menɔ anyi o. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.”’
17 And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart, and prophesy thou against them.
“Azɔ, ame vi, trɔ wò mo ɖe wò amewo ƒe vinyɔnuvi siwo gblɔ nya ɖi le woawo ŋutɔ ƒe susu nu la ŋu. Gblɔ nya ɖi tsi tsitre ɖe wo ŋu,
18 And say, Thus says the lord Jehovah: Woe to the women who sew pillows upon all elbows, and make headdresses for the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
nàgblɔ be nya si Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, ‘Baba na nyɔnu siwo doa dzokawo ɖe woƒe alɔnuwo katã, eye wowɔa motsyɔnu didime vovovowo ɖe ta, ale be woatre mɔ na amewo. Ɖe miatre mɔ na nye amewo ƒe agbe, ke miaɖe miawo ŋutɔ tɔa?
19 And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.
To miaƒe aʋatsokaka na nye ame siwo ɖoa to miaƒe alakpanyawo me la, miewu ame siwo maku hafi o, eye mieɖe ame siwo matsi agbe hafi o la ƒe agbe.’
20 Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, with which ye hunt the souls there to make fly, and I will tear them from your arms. And I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make fly.
“Eya ta ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Metsi tsitre ɖe miaƒe dzoka siwo mietsɔna ɖea amewo abe xeviwo ene la ŋuti, eye maɖe wo ɖa le miaƒe abɔwo ŋu. Mana ablɔɖe ame siwo mietre mɔ na abe xeviwo ene.
21 I will also tear your headdresses, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be hunted. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
Mavuvu miaƒe motsyɔnuwo, maɖe nye amewo tso miaƒe asi me, eye womaganɔ miaƒe ŋusẽ te o. Ekema mianya be nyee nye Yehowa.
22 Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.
Esi mietsɔ alakpa ɖe dzi le ame dzɔdzɔewo ƒo le esime nyemeda nuxaxa ɖe wo dzi o, eye esi miedo ŋusẽ ame vɔ̃ɖiwo be womagaɖe asi le woƒe mɔ vɔ̃ɖiwo ŋu o, ale be woaɖe woƒe agbe o ta la,
23 Therefore ye shall no more see false visions, nor divine divinations. And I will deliver my people out of your hand. And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
miagakpɔ alakpaŋutegawo o, eye miagagblɔ alakpanyawo ɖi o. Maɖe nye amewo tso miaƒe asi me. Ekema mianya be nyee nye Yehowa.’”
