Exodus 9
1 Then Jehovah said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus says Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
౧అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నువ్వు ఫరో దగ్గరికి వెళ్లి ఇలా చెప్పు, దేవుడు యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్పమన్నాడు. ‘నన్ను ఆరాధించడానికి నా ప్రజలను వెళ్లనివ్వు.’
2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and will still hold them,
౨నువ్వు గనక వాళ్ళను వెళ్ళనివ్వకుండా ఇంకా నిర్బంధంలో ఉంచినట్టయితే,
3 behold, the hand of Jehovah is upon thy cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the donkeys, upon the camels, upon the herds, and upon the flocks-a very grievous pestilence.
౩యెహోవా చెయ్యి చాపి ఎంతో బాధ కలిగించే తెగులు పంపిస్తాడు. ఆ తెగులు నీ పశువులకు, గుర్రాలకు, గాడిదలకు, ఒంటెలకు, ఎద్దులకు, గొర్రెలకు పాకుతుంది.
4 And Jehovah shall make a distinction between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt, and there shall nothing die of all that belongs to the sons of Israel.
౪అయితే యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల పశువులను ఐగుప్తు పశువులను వేరు చేస్తాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు చెందిన వాటిలో ఒక్కటి కూడా చనిపోదని హెబ్రీయుల దేవుడు యెహోవా చెబుతున్నాడు.
5 And Jehovah appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow Jehovah shall do this thing in the land.
౫దేశంలో రేపు నిర్ణీత సమయానికి యెహోవా ఈ కార్యం జరిగిస్తాడు” అని చెప్పాడు.
6 And Jehovah did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died, but of the cattle of the sons of Israel not one died.
౬తరువాతి రోజున యెహోవా తెగులు పంపించినప్పుడు ఐగుప్తీయుల పశువులన్నీ చనిపోయాయి. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల పశువుల్లో ఒక్కటి కూడా చావలేదు.
7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he did not let the people go.
౭ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల పశువుల్లో ఒక్కటి కూడా చనిపోలేదనే విషయం ఫరో నిర్ధారణ చేసుకున్నాడు. అయినప్పటికీ ఫరో హృదయం కఠినంగా మారిపోవడం వల్ల ప్రజలను పంపడానికి అంగీకరించలేదు.
8 And Jehovah said to Moses and to Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
౮అప్పుడు యెహోవా “మీరు మీ పిడికిళ్ల నిండా బూడిద తీసుకోండి. మోషే ఫరో చూస్తూ ఉండగా దాన్ని ఆకాశం వైపు చల్లండి.
9 And it shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with sores upon man and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.
౯అప్పుడు అది ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతా సన్నని దుమ్ములాగా మారి దేశంలోని మనుష్యుల మీదా, జంతువుల మీదా చీము పట్టే కురుపులు కలగజేస్తుంది” అని మోషే అహరోనులతో చెప్పాడు.
10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven, and it became a boil breaking forth with sores upon man and upon beast.
౧౦మోషే అహరోనులు బూడిద తీసుకుని ఫరో దగ్గర నిలబడ్డారు. మోషే ఆకాశం వైపు దాన్ని చల్లాడు. దానివల్ల మనుష్యులకు, జంతువులకు చీము కురుపులు పుట్టాయి.
11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.
౧౧ఆ కురుపుల దురదల వల్ల మాంత్రికులు మోషే ఎదుట నిలబడలేకపోయారు. ఆ కురుపులు మాంత్రికులకు, ఐగుప్తీయులందరికీ పుట్టాయి.
12 And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not hearken to them, as Jehovah had spoken to Moses.
౧౨అయినప్పటికీ యెహోవా మోషేతో చెప్పినట్టు యెహోవా ఫరో హృదయాన్ని కఠినం చేయడం వల్ల అతడు వాళ్ళ మాట వినలేదు.
13 And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
౧౩తరువాత యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నువ్వు ఉదయం కాగానే లేచి ఫరో ఎదుటికి వెళ్లి అతనితో ఇలా చెప్పు, యెహోవా ఆరాధించడానికి నా ప్రజలను వెళ్లనివ్వు.
14 For this time I will send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, that thou may know that there is none like me in all the earth.
౧౪భూమి అంతటిలో నాలాంటివాడు ఎవరూ లేరని నీవు తెలుసుకోవాలని నీ హృదయం తీవ్రంగా కలత చెందేలా ఈసారి నేను నా తెగుళ్ళన్నీ నీ సేవకుల పైకి, నీ దేశ ప్రజల పైకి పంపుతాను.
15 For now I have put forth my hand, and smitten thee and thy people with pestilence, and thou have been cut off from the earth.
౧౫ఇంతకు ముందే నేను నా చెయ్యి చాపి నిన్నూ నీ ప్రజలనూ విపత్తుతో కొట్టి భూమి మీద లేకుండా నాశనం చేసి ఉండేవాణ్ణి.
16 But indeed for this cause I have raised thee up, to display in thee my power, and that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.
౧౬నిన్ను బతికి ఉంచిన కారణం నా సామర్ధ్యం నీకు చూపడానికే. తద్వారా భూలోకమంతటా నా పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతి పొందాలి.
17 As yet thou exalt thyself against my people, that thou will not let them go?
౧౭నువ్వు ఇంకా నా ప్రజలను వెళ్ళనీయకుండా వాళ్ళపై మిడిసిపడుతున్నావు.
18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now.
౧౮ఇదిగో విను, రేపు ఈ పాటికి నేను తీవ్రమైన బాధ కలిగించే వడగళ్ళు కురిపిస్తాను. ఐగుప్తు సామ్రాజ్యం ఏర్పడినది మొదలు ఇప్పటి వరకూ అలాంటి వడగళ్ళు కురియలేదు.
19 Now therefore send, hasten in thy cattle and all that thou have in the field, for every man and beast that shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
౧౯అందువల్ల నువ్వు నీ పశువులను, పొలాల్లో ఉన్న నీ పంటలనూ త్వరగా భద్రం చేయించుకో. ఇంటికి చేరకుండా పొలంలో ఉన్న ప్రతి వ్యక్తీ ప్రతి జంతువూ వడగళ్ళ బారిన పడి చనిపోతారు.”
20 He who feared the word of Jehovah among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses.
౨౦యెహోవా మోషే చేత పలికించిన మాటలు విన్న ఫరో సేవకుల్లో కొందరు తమ పశువులను ఇళ్లలోకి తెప్పించుకున్నారు.
21 And he who did not regard the word of Jehovah left his servants and his cattle in the field.
౨౧యెహోవా మాట లక్ష్యపెట్టనివారు తమ పనివాళ్ళను, పశువులను పొలంలోనే ఉండనిచ్చారు.
22 And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch forth thy hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
౨౨యెహోవా “నీ చెయ్యి ఆకాశం వైపు చాపు. ఐగుప్తు దేశంలో ఉన్న మనుషుల మీదా, జంతువుల మీదా పంటలన్నిటి మీదా వడగళ్లు కురుస్తాయి” అని మోషేతో చెప్పాడు.
23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven, and Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down to the earth, and Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
౨౩మోషే తన కర్రను ఆకాశం వైపు ఎత్తినప్పుడు యెహోవా ఉరుములు వడగండ్లు కురిపించాడు. భూమి మీద పిడుగులు పడుతున్నాయి. ఐగుప్తు దేశం అంతటా యెహోవా వడగళ్ళు కురిపించాడు.
24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
౨౪ఆ విధంగా వడగళ్ళు, వడగళ్ళతో కూడిన పిడుగులు ఎంతో బాధ కలిగించాయి. ఐగుప్తు దేశం ఏర్పడినది మొదలు ఇలాంటిది సంభవించ లేదు.
25 And throughout all the land of Egypt the hail smote all that was in the field, both man and beast, and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
౨౫ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటా కురిసిన ఆ వడగళ్ళు మనుష్యులను, జంతువులను, బయట ఉండిపోయిన సమస్తాన్నీ నాశనం చేశాయి. పొలంలో ఉన్న పంట అంతా నాశనం అయ్యింది. చెట్లన్నీ విరిగిపోయాయి.
26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, was there no hail.
౨౬అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు నివసించే గోషెను దేశంలో మాత్రం వడగళ్ళు పడలేదు.
27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
౨౭ఇది చూసిన ఫరో మోషే అహరోనులను పిలిపించాడు. “ఈసారి నేను తప్పు చేశాను. యెహోవా న్యాయవంతుడు, నేనూ నా ప్రజలూ దుర్మార్గులం.
28 Entreat Jehovah, for there has been enough of these mighty thunderings and hail, and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.
౨౮ఇంతవరకూ జరిగింది చాలు. ఈ భయంకరమైన ఉరుములు, వడగళ్ళు ఇంకా రాకుండా యెహోవాను వేడుకోండి. ఇక నేను మిమ్మల్ని ఆపను, మీరు కోరిన చోటికి వెళ్ళనిస్తాను” అని వాళ్ళతో చెప్పాడు.
29 And Moses said to him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail, that thou may know that the earth is Jehovah's.
౨౯మోషే అతనితో “నేను ఈ పట్టణం నుండి బయటకు వెళ్ళి నా చేతులు యెహోవా వైపు ఎత్తుతాను. ఈ ఉరుములు ఆగిపోతాయి, వడగళ్ళు ఇకపై కురియవు. దీన్నిబట్టి ఈ లోకమంతా యెహోవాదేనని నువ్వు తెలుసుకొంటావు.
30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear Jehovah God.
౩౦అయినప్పటికీ నీకూ, నీ సేవకులకూ దేవుడు యెహోవా పట్ల భయభక్తులు ఏర్పడలేదని నాకు తెలుసు” అన్నాడు.
31 And the flax and the barley were smitten, for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloom.
౩౧ఆ రోజుల్లో జనపనార చెట్లు మొగ్గ తొడిగాయి. బార్లీ చేలు వెన్నులు వేశాయి కనుక అవన్నీ నాశనం అయ్యాయి.
32 But the wheat and the rye were not smitten, for they were not grown up.
౩౨గోదుమలు, మిరప మొక్కలు మొలకలు వేయనందువల్ల అవి పాడవలేదు.
33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands to Jehovah, and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
౩౩మోషే ఫరోతో మాట్లాడి ఆ పట్టణం నుండి బయటకు వెళ్లి యెహోవా వైపు తన చేతులు ఎత్తి ప్రార్థించినప్పుడు వాన ఆగిపోయింది. ఉరుములు, వడగళ్ళు నిలిచిపోయాయి.
34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
౩౪అయితే వర్షం, వడగళ్ళు, ఉరుములు ఆగిపోవడం చూసిన ఫరో, అతని సేవకులు ఇంకా పాపం చేస్తూ తమ హృదయాలను కఠినం చేసుకున్నారు.
35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the sons of Israel go, as Jehovah had spoken by Moses.
౩౫యెహోవా మోషేకు చెప్పినట్టు ఫరో హృదయం కఠినంగా మారింది, అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలను వెళ్ళనియ్యలేదు.
