Exodus 40

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

तब परमप्रभुले मोशालाई यसो भन्‍नुभयो,

2 On the first day of the first month thou shall raise up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

“नयाँ वर्षको पहिलो महिनाको पहिलो दिनमा तैँले पवित्र वासस्थान अर्थात् भेट हुने पाल खडा गर्नू ।

3 And thou shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and thou shall screen the ark with the veil.

तैँले यसभित्र गवाहीको सन्दुक राख्‍नू, र यसलाई पर्दाले छेक्‍नू ।

4 And thou shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are upon it, and thou shall bring in the lampstand, and light the lamps of it.

तैँले टेबुललाई भित्र ल्याएर यसमाथि राखिने थोकहरू मिलाएर राख्‍नू । त्यसपछि तैँले सामदान भित्र ल्याएर दियाहरू मिलाउनू ।

5 And thou shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

तैँले गवाहीको सन्दुकको सामुन्‍ने सुनको धूपको वेदी राख्‍नू, र पवित्र वासस्थानको प्रवेशद्वारमा पर्दा राख्‍नू ।

6 And thou shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

तैँले पवित्र वासस्थान अर्थात् भेट हुने पालको प्रवेशद्वारको सामुन्‍ने होमबलिको लागि वेदी राख्‍नू ।

7 And thou shall set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shall put water in it.

तैँले भेट हुने पाल र वेदीका बिचमा ठुलो बाटा राख्‍नू र त्यसभित्र पानी हाल्नू ।

8 And thou shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

चोकको वरिपरि घेरा हाली यसको प्रवेशद्वारमा पर्दा झुण्ड्याउनू । तैँले अभिषेक गर्ने तेल लिई पवित्र वासस्थान र यसभित्र भएको हरेक थोकलाई अभिषेक गर्नू ।

9 And thou shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall hallow it, and all the furniture of it. And it shall be holy.

तैँले यसलाई र यसका सबै सरसामान मेरो लागि अलग गर्नू । तब यो पवित्र हुनेछ ।

10 And thou shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar. And the altar shall be most holy.

तैँले होमबलिको निम्ति वेदी र यसका सबै भाँडाकुँडालाई अभिषेक गर्नू । तैँले वेदी मेरो निम्ति अलग गर्नू र त्यो मेरो लागि अति पवित्र हुनेछ ।

11 And thou shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

तैँले काँसाको बाटा र यसको खुट्टा अभिषेक गरेर यसलाई मेरो लागि अलग गर्नू ।

12 And thou shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water.

तैँले हारून र त्यसका छोराहरूलाई भेट हुने पालको प्रवेशद्वारमा ल्याई तिनीहरूलाई पानीले नुहाइदिनुपर्छ ।

13 And thou shall put upon Aaron the holy garments, and thou shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

मेरो लागि अलग गरिएका पोशाकहरू तैँले हारूनलाई लगाइदिनू र त्यसले पुजारी बनेर मेरो सेवा गरोस् भनेर त्यसलाई अभिषेक गरी मेरो निम्ति अलग गर्नू ।

14 And thou shall bring his sons, and put tunics upon them,

त्यसका छोराहरूलाई ल्याई तिनीहरूलाई लबेदा पहिराइदिनू ।

15 and thou shall anoint them, as thou anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. And their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

पुजारी बनेर तिनीहरूले मेरो सेवा गरून् भनेर तैँले तिनीहरूका पितालाई जस्तै तिनीहरूलाई अभिषेक गर्नू । तिनीहरूको अभिषेकले पुस्ता-पुस्तासम्म तिनीहरूलाई स्थायी पुजारीको पद प्रदान गर्छ ।”

16 Thus did Moses. According to all that Jehovah commanded him, so did he.

मोशाले त्यसै गरे । परमप्रभुले आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले गरे । तिनले यी सबै गरे ।

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was raised up.

यसरी दोस्रो वर्षको पहिलो महिनाको पहिलो दिनमा पवित्र वासस्थान खडा भयो ।

18 And Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards of it, and put in the bars of it, and raised up its pillars.

मोशाले पवित्र वासस्थान खडा गरे, यसका आधारहरू ठाउँमा राखे, यसका फल्याकहरू खडा गरे, यसका बारहरू जोडे र यसका डन्डाहरू र खम्बाहरू खडा गरे ।

19 And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

परमप्रभुले आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले पवित्र वासस्थानमाथि पाल फिँजाएर त्यसमाथि छत राखे ।

20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark.

तिनले करारका आज्ञाहरूलाई लिई तिनले सन्दुकभित्र हाले । तिनले

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

सन्दुकमा डन्डाहरू हालेर त्यसमाथि प्रायश्‍चित्तको ढकनी राखे । तिनले सन्दुकलाई पवित्र वासस्थानमा ल्याए । परमप्रभुले आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले गवाहीको सन्दुकलाई छेक्‍ने पर्दा टाँगे ।

22 And he put the table in the tent of meeting, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.

तिनले पर्दाको बाहिरपट्टि भेट हुने पाल अर्थात् पवित्र वासस्थानको उत्तरपट्टि टेबुल राखे ।

23 And he set the bread in order upon it before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

परमप्रभुले तिनलाई आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले परमप्रभुको सामु टेबुलमा रोटी मिलाएर राखे ।

24 And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

तिनले भेट हुने पाल अर्थात् पवित्र वासस्थानको दक्षिणपट्टि टेबुलको सामु सामदान राखे ।

25 And he lit the lamps before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

परमप्रभुले तिनलाई आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले परमप्रभुको सामु दियाहरू बाले ।

26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,

तिनले भेट हुने पालभित्र पर्दाको सामुन्‍ने सुनको धूपको वेदी राखे ।

27 and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

परमप्रभुले तिनलाई आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले यसमाथि सुगन्धित धूप बाले ।

28 And he put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

तिनले पवित्र वासस्थानको प्रवेशद्वारमा पर्दा झुण्ड्याए ।

29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

तिनले भेट हुने पाल अर्थात् पवित्र वासस्थानको प्रवेशद्वारमा होमबलिको वेदी राखे । परमप्रभुले आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनले यहीँ नै होमबलि र अन्‍नबलि चढाए ।

30 And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it, with which to wash.

तिनले भेट हुने पाल र यस वेदीको बिचमा बाटा राखी त्यसमा धुनलाई पानी राखे ।

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

मोशा, हारून र तिनका छोराहरूले बाटाको पानीबाट तिनीहरूका हात-खुट्टा धुने गर्थे ।

32 They washed when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near to the altar, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

तिनीहरू भेट हुने पालभित्र प्रवेश गर्दा र वेदीमा जाँदा तिनीहरूले धुने गर्थे । परमप्रभुले मोशालाई आज्ञा गर्नुभएअनुसार तिनीहरूले आ-आफूलाई धुने गर्थे ।

33 And he raised up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

मोशाले पवित्र वासस्थान र वेदीको वरिपरि चोक खडा गरे । तिनले चोकको प्रवेशद्वारमा पर्दा राखे । यसरी मोशाले काम पुरा गरे ।

34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

तब बादलले भेट हुने पाललाई ढाक्यो, अनि परमप्रभुको महिमाले पवित्र वासस्थान भरियो ।

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereupon, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

भेट हुने पालमाथि बादल आएर बसेकोले र परमप्रभुको महिमाले पवित्र वासस्थान भरिएकोले मोशा यसभित्र प्रवेश गर्न सकेनन् ।

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys,

पवित्र वासस्थानबाट बादल उठाइँदा इस्राएलका मानिसहरू आफ्नो बाटो लाग्थे ।

37 but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up.

तर पवित्र वासस्थानबाट बादल नउठ्दा मानिसहरूले यात्रा गर्दैनथे । बादल नउठेसम्म तिनीहरू बसिरहन्थे ।

38 For the cloud of Jehovah was upon the tabernacle by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

किनकि इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका सबै यात्राभरि तिनीहरूले देख्‍ने गरी दिनमा परमप्रभुको बादल र रातमा उहाँको आगो पवित्र वासस्थानमाथि हुन्थ्यो ।
