Deuteronomy 32
1 Give ear, ye heavens, and I will speak, and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
౧ఆకాశమా! నేను చెప్పేది విను! నన్ను మాట్లాడనియ్యి. భూగోళమా, నా నోటి మాటలు ఆలకించు.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain. My speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb.
౨నా ఉపదేశం వానలా కురుస్తుంది. నా మాటలు మంచు బిందువుల్లా, లేతగడ్డిపై పడే చినుకుల్లా, పచ్చికపై కురిసే చిరుజల్లులా, మొక్కలపై కురిసే జల్లులా ఉంటాయి.
3 For I will proclaim the name of Jehovah. Ascribe ye greatness to our God.
౩నేను యెహోవా పేరును ప్రకటిస్తాను. మన దేవునికి ఘనత ఆపాదించండి.
4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice, a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.
౪ఆయన మనకు ఆశ్రయ దుర్గం. ఆయన పని పరిపూర్ణం. ఆయన మార్గాలన్నీ న్యాయమైనవి. ఆయన నమ్మదగిన దేవుడు. ఆయన పక్షపాతం చూపని దేవుడు. ఆయన న్యాయవంతుడు, యథార్థవంతుడు.
5 They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his sons, it is their blemish, a perverse and crooked generation.
౫వారు తమను తాము చెడగొట్టుకున్నారు. వారు ఆయన సంతానం కారు. వారు దోషులు, మూర్ఖులైన వక్రతరం.
6 Do ye thus requite Jehovah, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father who has bought thee? He has made thee, and established thee.
౬బుద్ధి, ఇంగితం లేని మనుషులారా, యెహోవాకు ఇదా మీరిచ్చే కానుక? ఆయన మీ తండ్రి కాడా? ఆయనే గదా మిమ్మల్ని పుట్టించి స్థిరపరచింది?
7 Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask thy father, and he will show thee, thine elders, and they will tell thee.
౭గతించిన కాలాన్ని గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకోండి. తరతరాల సంవత్సరాల సంగతులను తలపోయండి. మీ తండ్రిని అడుగు, అతడు నీకు చూపిస్తాడు. పెద్దలను అడుగు, వాళ్ళు నీకు చెబుతారు.
8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.
౮మహోన్నతుడు ప్రజలకు వారి వారి వారసత్వాలను పంచి ఇచ్చినప్పుడు, మానవ జాతులను వేరు పరచినపుడు, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల లెక్క ప్రకారం ప్రజలకు హద్దులు నియమించాడు.
9 For Jehovah's portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
౯యెహోవా వంతు ఆయన ప్రజలే. ఆయన వారసత్వం యాకోబు సంతానమే.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness. He compassed him about. He cared for him. He kept him as the apple of his eye.
౧౦ఆయన ఆ ప్రజను ఎడారి ప్రదేశంలో కనుగొన్నాడు. బీడు భూమిలో, భీకరమైన శబ్దాలు ఉన్న నిర్జన ప్రదేశంలో అతణ్ణి రక్షించి ఆదుకున్నాడు. తన కనుపాపలా అతణ్ణి కాపాడాడు.
11 As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, he spread abroad his wings. He took them. He bore them on his pinions.
౧౧గద్ద తన గూడు రేపి తన పిల్లలపై ఎగురుతూ రెక్కలు చాపుకుని ఆ పిల్లలను రెక్కల మీద మోసినట్టు యెహోవా చేశాడు.
12 Jehovah alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him.
౧౨యెహోవా ఒక్కడే ఆ ప్రజలకు దారి చూపుతున్నాడు. వేరే దేవుళ్ళెవరూ ఆయనకు సాటిరారు.
13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, and he ate the increase of the field, and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock,
౧౩లోకంలో ఉన్నత స్థలాలపై ఆ ప్రజలను ఎక్కించాడు. పొలాల పంటలు వారికి తినిపించాడు. కొండబండల తేనెతో, చెకుముకి రాతిబండ నూనెతో వారిని తృప్తిపరిచాడు.
14 butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat, and of the blood of the grape thou drank wine.
౧౪ఆవు మజ్జిగను, గొర్రెల, మేకల పాలనూ, గొర్రెపిల్లల కొవ్వునూ, బాషాను పొట్టేళ్లను, మేకపోతులనూ, శ్రేష్ఠమైన గోదుమ పిండినీ మీకిచ్చాడు. మంచి ద్రాక్షరసంతో చేసిన మద్యం మీరు తాగారు.
15 But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked. Thou have grown fat. Thou have grown thick. Thou have become sleek. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
౧౫యెషూరూను కొవ్వి కాలు దువ్వాడు, మీరు కొవ్వుతో బలిసి మొద్దులాగా అయ్యారు. యెషూరూను తనను పుట్టించిన దేవుణ్ణి వదిలేశాడు. తన రక్షణ శిలను నిరాకరించాడు.
16 They moved him to jealousy with strange gods. With abominations they provoked him to anger.
౧౬వారు ఇతర దేవుళ్ళను అనుసరించి ఆయనకు రోషం పుట్టించారు. అసహ్యమైన విగ్రహాలు పెట్టుకుని ఆయనకు కోపం తెప్పించారు.
17 They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods that they knew not, to new gods that came up of late, which your fathers did not dread.
౧౭వారు దేవత్వం లేని దయ్యాలకు బలులు అర్పించారు. తమకు తెలియని దేవుళ్ళకూ, కొత్తగా పుట్టుకొచ్చిన దేవుళ్ళకూ, మీ పితరులు భయపడని దేవుళ్ళకూ బలులర్పించారు.
18 Thou are unmindful of the Rock that begot thee, and have forgotten God who gave thee birth.
౧౮నీకు తండ్రి లాంటి బండను వదిలేశావు, నిన్ను కన్న దేవుణ్ణి మరిచావు.
19 And Jehovah saw, and abhorred, because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.
౧౯యెహోవా దీన్ని చూసి వాళ్ళని వదిలేశాడు, తన కొడుకులూ కూతుర్లూ ఆయన్నలా రేపారు.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end shall be. For they are a very perverse generation, sons in whom is no faithfulness.
౨౦ఆయనిలా అన్నాడు. “వారికి నా ముఖాన్ని దాచు కుంటాను. వాళ్ళ అంతం ఎలా ఉంటుందో చూస్తాను. వాళ్ళు మొండి తరం, విశ్వసనీయత లేని పిల్లలు.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities, and I will move them to jealousy with a non-nation. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
౨౧దేవుడు కాని దానితో వాళ్ళు నాకు రోషం తెప్పించారు. తమ పనికిమాలిన విగ్రహాలతో నాకు కోపం తెప్పించారు. ప్రజలు కాని వారిని చూసి వారు అసూయ పడేలా చేస్తాను. తెలివిలేని రాజ్యాన్ని చూసి వారికి కోపం వచ్చేలా చేస్తాను.
22 For a fire is kindled in my anger, and burns to the lowest Sheol, and devours the earth with its increase, and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Sheol h7585)
౨౨నా కోపాగ్ని రగులుకుంది. పాతాళ అగాధం వరకూ అది మండుతుంది. భూమినీ దాని పంటనూ అది కాల్చేస్తుంది. పర్వతాల పునాదులను రగులబెడుతుంది. (Sheol h7585)
23 I will heap evils upon them. I will spend my arrows upon them,
౨౩వారిపై విపత్తుల సమూహం తెప్పిస్తాను. వారి మీదికి నా బాణాలు వదులుతాను.
24 to be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. And I will send upon them the teeth of beasts, with the poison of crawling things of the dust.
౨౪వారు కరువుతో అల్లాడతారు. ఒళ్ళు కాలే మంటతో, పెను నాశనంతో క్షీణిస్తారు. దుమ్ములో పాకే వాటి విషాన్నీ అడివి జంతువుల కోరలనూ వారిమీదికి రప్పిస్తాను.
25 Outside the sword shall bereave, and in the chambers terror, to both young man and virgin, the suckling with the man of gray hairs.
౨౫బయట కత్తి చావు తెస్తుంది. పడక గదుల్లో భయం పీడిస్తుంది. యువకులూ, కన్యలూ, పసికందులూ, నెరిసిన వెంట్రుకలున్నవారూ నాశనం అవుతారు.
26 I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men,
౨౬వాళ్ళను చాలా దూరం విసిరేస్తాను. వాళ్ళ జ్ఞాపకాలు మానవ జాతిలో లేకుండా తుడిచేస్తాను.
27 were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, lest their adversaries should judge amiss, lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, and Jehovah has not done all this.
౨౭కానీ అలా ఎందుకు చెయ్యలేదంటే, వాళ్ళ విరోధులు రెచ్చిపోతారేమో, వాళ్ళ విరోధులు అపార్థం చేసుకుని, ‘పైచెయ్యి మనదే, ఇది చేసింది యెహోవా కాదు’ అంటారేమో.”
28 For they are a nation void of counsel, and there is no understanding in them.
౨౮ఇశ్రాయేలు తెలివిలేని ప్రజ. వాళ్ళలో వివేకమే లేదు.
29 Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
౨౯వారికి జ్ఞానముంటే, దీన్ని వాళ్ళు అర్థం చేసుకుంటే, వాళ్లకు రాబోయే ఆపద గమనించుకుంటే,
30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight unless their Rock had sold them, and Jehovah had delivered them up?
౩౦వారి ఆశ్రయదుర్గం వారిని అమ్మి వేయకపోతే, యెహోవా వారిపై మనకు విజయాన్నివ్వకపోతే, ఒకడు వేయి మందిని ఎలా తరుముతాడు? పదివేల మందిని ఇద్దరు ఎలా పారదోలతారు?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
౩౧మన శత్రువుల బండ మన ఆశ్రయదుర్గం లాంటిది కాదు. మన శత్రువులే దీనికి సాక్షులు.
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter.
౩౨వారి ద్రాక్షచెట్టు సొదొమ ద్రాక్ష చెట్టు నుంచి వచ్చింది. అది గొమొర్రా పొలాల్లోనిది. వారి ద్రాక్షపళ్ళు విషపు ద్రాక్షపళ్ళు. వాటి గెలలు చేదు.
33 Their wine is the poison of serpents, and the cruel venom of asps.
౩౩వారి ద్రాక్షారసం పాము విషం. నాగుపాముల క్రూర విషం.
34 Is not this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures?
౩౪ఇది నా రహస్య ఆలోచన కాదా? నా ఖజానాల్లో భద్రంగా లేదా?
35 Vengeance is for me, and recompense at the time when their foot shall slide. For the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that are to come upon them shall make haste.
౩౫వారి కాలు జారే కాలంలో పగ తీర్చే పని నాదే. ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చేది నేనే. వారి ఆపద్దినం దగ్గర పడింది. వారి అంతం త్వరగా వస్తుంది.
36 For Jehovah will judge his people, and regrets for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.
౩౬బానిస గానీ, స్వతంత్రుడు గానీ, మరెవరూ మిగలకపోతే, వారికి ఆధారం లేనప్పుడు చూసి, తన సేవకులకు జాలి చూపిస్తాడు, తన ప్రజలకు యెహోవా నిర్ణయం చేస్తాడు.
37 And he will say, Where are their gods, the rock in which they took refuge,
౩౭అప్పుడాయన వారి దేవుళ్ళు ఎక్కడ? వాళ్ళు నమ్ముకున్న బండ ఏది?
38 which ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you, let them be your protection.
౩౮వారికి ఆధారం లేనప్పుడు చూసి, వారి నైవేద్యాల కొవ్వు తిని, వారి పానీయార్పణ ద్రాక్షారసాన్ని తాగిన వారి దేవుళ్ళు ఎక్కడ? వారు లేచి మీకు సాయపడనివ్వండి. వారినే మిమ్మల్ని కాపాడనివ్వండి.
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
౩౯చూడండి. నేనే, నేను మాత్రమే దేవుణ్ణి. నేను తప్ప మరో దేవుడు లేడు. చంపేది నేనే, బతికించేది నేనే. దెబ్బ కొట్టేది నేనే, బాగు చేసేది నేనే. నా చేతిలో నుంచి విడిపించేవాడెవడూ లేడు.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, As I live forever,
౪౦ఆకాశం వైపు నా చెయ్యెత్తి నేనెప్పటికీ జీవిస్తున్నట్టుగా పని చేస్తాను.
41 if I whet my glittering sword, and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to my adversaries, and will recompense those who hate me.
౪౧నేను తళతళలాడే నా కత్తి నూరి, నా చెయ్యి న్యాయం తీర్చడం మొదలెడితే, నా శత్రువులకు ప్రతీకారం చేస్తాను. నన్ను ద్వేషించే వారికి ప్రతిఫలమిస్తాను.
42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh, with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy.
౪౨నా బాణాలు రక్తంతో మత్తెక్కి పోయేలా చేస్తాను. నా కత్తి, మాంసం భక్షిస్తుంది! చచ్చిన వారి రక్తాన్నీ, బందీల రక్తాన్నీ, శత్రువు అధికారులనూ అవి తింటాయి.
43 Rejoice, O ye Gentiles, with his people. For he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will recompense those who hate him, and will make expiation for his land, for his people.
౪౩ఇతర రాజ్యాల ప్రజలారా, దేవుని ప్రజలతో ఆనందించండి. వధకు గురి అయిన తన సేవకుల రక్తానికి ఆయన పగ తీరుస్తాడు. తన విరోధులకు ప్రతీకారం చేస్తాడు. తన దేశం కోసం, తన ప్రజల కోసం ప్రాయశ్చిత్తం చేస్తాడు.
44 And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.
౪౪మోషే, నూను కొడుకు యెహోషువ ఈ పాటలోని పదాలన్నీ ప్రజలకు పాడి వినిపించారు.
45 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel.
౪౫మోషే ఈ పాట ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల కోసం పాడి ముగించాడు.
46 And he said to them, Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you this day, which ye shall command your sons to observe to do, even all the words of this law.
౪౬తరువాత అతడు వారితో ఇలా చెప్పాడు, దీనికి మీరే సాక్ష్యం. ఈ రోజు నేను పలికిన మాటలన్నీ మీ మనస్సుల్లో నింపుకుని, ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర ప్రమాణాలన్నీ అనుసరించి నడుచుకోవాలని మీ సంతానానికి ఆజ్ఞాపించాలి.
47 For it is no vain thing for you, because it is your life, and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land where ye go over the Jordan to possess it.
౪౭ఇవి మీకు నిష్ఫలమైన మాటలు కావు, ఇవి మీకు జీవదాయకమైనవి. మీరు యొర్దాను దాటి స్వాధీనం చేసుకోబోతున్న దేశంలో దీన్ని బట్టి మీరు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతులవుతారు.
48 And Jehovah spoke to Moses that selfsame day, saying,
౪౮అదే రోజు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు, యెరికో ఎదుట ఉన్న మోయాబు దేశంలోని అబారీం అనే ఈ పర్వతం,
49 Get thee up onto this mountain of Abarim, to mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is opposite Jericho, and behold the land of Canaan, which I give to the sons of Israel for a possession.
౪౯అంటే నెబో కొండ ఎక్కు. నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు వారసత్వంగా ఇస్తున్న కనాను దేశాన్ని నువ్వు చూస్తావు.
50 And die on the mount where thou go up, and be gathered to thy people, as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered to his people,
౫౦నీ సోదరుడు అహరోను, హోరు కొండ మీద చనిపోయి తమ పితరుల దగ్గరికి చేరినట్టు, నువ్వు ఎక్కబోతున్న కొండ మీద చనిపోయి, నీ పితరుల దగ్గరికి వెళ్తావు.
51 because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because ye did not sanctify me in the midst of the sons of Israel.
౫౧ఎందుకంటే, మీరు సీను ఎడారిలో కాదేషు మెరీబా నీళ్ల దగ్గర ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల మధ్య నన్ను ఘనపరచక ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల మధ్య నా మీద తిరుగుబాటు చేశారు.
52 For thou shall see the land before thee, but thou shall not go there into the land which I give the sons of Israel.
౫౨నువ్వు ఆ దేశాన్ని దూరం నుంచి చూస్తావు. నేను ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు ఇస్తున్న ఆ దేశంలో నువ్వు అడుగుపెట్టవు.
