Daniel 11

1 And as for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.

ಮೇದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ನಾನು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

2 And now I will show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than them all. And when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

ನಾನು ಈಗ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಪಾರಸಿಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೂರು ಅರಸರು ಏಳುವರು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಹಳ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿರುವನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಿಂದ ಗ್ರೀಕ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹುರಿದುಂಬಿಸುವನು.

3 And a mighty king shall stand up, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

ಆಗ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನು ಉದಯಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ಮಹಾಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಆಳುವನು ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವನು.

4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled, for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.

ಅವನು ಉದಯಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಒಡೆದು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅದು ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವಾಗದು. ಅವನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅದು ಇನ್ನು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಇತರರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his rulers. And he shall be powerful over him, and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಸೇನಾಪತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗುವನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯು ಮಹಾ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಾಗುವುದು.

6 And at the end of years they shall join themselves together. And the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement, but she shall not retain the strength of her arm, nor shall he stand, nor his arm. But she shall be given up, and also those who brought her, and he who begot her, and he who strengthened her in those times.

ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನ ಮಗಳು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವಳು. ಆದರೆ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನೂ, ಅವನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವೂ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳೂ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದವರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 But out of a shoot from her roots shall a man stand up in his place, who shall come to the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.

ಅವಳ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು, ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನ ಕೋಟೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವನು.

8 And also their gods, with their molten images, and with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold, he shall carry captive into Egypt, and he shall refrain from the king of the north some years.

ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವನು. ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅವನು ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವನು.

9 And he shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನು. ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವನು.

10 And his sons shall war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall come on, and overflow, and pass through. And they shall return and war, even to his fortress.

ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯ ಕೂಡಿಸುವರು. ಆ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ನಿಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆ ಹರಿದುಬಂದು, ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೋಟೆಯವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸುವರು.

11 And the king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north. And he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.

ಆಗ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನು ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟು ಮಹಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದನು. ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮಹಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಅರಸನ ಕೈವಶವಾಗುವುದು.

12 And the multitude shall be lifted up, and his heart shall be exalted. And he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.

ಆ ಮಹಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುವುದು. ಸಹಸ್ರಾರು ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

13 And the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and he shall come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with much substance.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನು ಪುನಃ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡವೂ, ಬಹಳ ಆಯುಧಗಳ ಸಂಗಡವೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬರುವನು.

14 And in those times many shall stand up against the king of the south. Also the sons of the violent among thy people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision, but they shall fall.

ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಎದುರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಾಕಾರರು ಆ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಸೋತುಹೋಗುವರು.

15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city. And the forces of the south shall not stand, nor his chosen people. Neither shall there be any strength to stand.

ಆಗ ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನು ಬಂದು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ದಿಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ, ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಭುಜಬಲವಾದರೂ ಅವನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಜನರಾದರೂ ಎದುರಿಸಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವರು.

16 But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in the glorious land, and in his hand shall be destruction.

ಆದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಬರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಯಾರೂ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರರು. ಅವನು ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹೊಂದಿರುವನು.

17 And he shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions, and he shall perform them. And he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her, but she shall not stand, nor be for him.

ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಲ ಸಮೇತನಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ರಾಜನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉರುಳಿಸಲು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಜಯಹೊಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

18 After this he shall turn his face to the isles, and shall take many. But a ruler shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease. Yea, moreover, he shall cause his reproach to turn upon him.

ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ, ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು. ಆ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವನು.

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land, but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found.

ಆಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವದೇಶದ ಕೋಟೆಗೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಡವಿಬಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು.

20 Then someone shall stand up in his place who shall cause an exactor to pass through the glory of the kingdom, but within a few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

ಅವನ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಅರಸೊತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಸೊಗಸನ್ನು ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸುಂಕ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡುವವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವನು. ಆದರೂ ಕೆಲವೇ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ನಾಶ ಹೊಂದುವನು. ಇದು ಕೋಪದಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

21 And in his place he who is contemptible shall stand up, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom. But he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ನೀಚನು ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾಜಮರ್ಯಾದೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ನಯನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

22 And the overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken, yea, also the ruler of the covenant.

ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತಿರುವ ಆ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ, ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನೂ ಅವನ ರಭಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಒಡೆದುಹೋಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು.

23 And after the league made with him, he shall work deceitfully, for he shall come up, and shall become strong, with a small people.

ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಪಟವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವನು. ಕೆಲವು ಜನರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಪಡೆಯುವನು.

24 He shall come in time of security even upon the fattest places of the province, and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers. He shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance. Yea, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.

ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ತಂದೆ ತಾತಂದಿರು ಮಾಡದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು. ಸೂರೆ, ಸುಲಿಗೆ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದವುಗಳನ್ನು, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುವನು. ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಕುತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಲುಪ್ತಕಾಲದ ತನಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವನು.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army. And the king of the south shall war in battle with a very great and mighty army, but he shall not stand, for they shall devise devices against him.

ಅವನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸನ್ನದ್ಧನಾಗುವನು, ಆದರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವರು.

26 Yea, those who eat of his food shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow, and many shall fall down slain.

ಅವನ ರಾಜ ಭೋಜನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ತಿಂದವರೇ, ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವರು. ಅವನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅನೇಕರು ಹತರಾಗುವರು.

27 And as for both these kings, their hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table. But it shall not prosper, for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಅರಸನ ಹೃದಯಗಳು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತವುಗಳಾಗಿರುವುವು. ಒಂದೇ ಮೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು.

28 Then he shall return into his land with great substance. And his heart shall be against the holy covenant, and he shall do his pleasure, and return to his own land.

ಆಗ ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನು ಮಹಾ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವನು, ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು; ಅವನು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವಂತ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವನು.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come into the south, but it shall not be in the latter time as it was in the former.

ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನು, ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಆದಂತೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

30 For ships of Kittim shall come against him. Therefore he shall be grieved, and shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do his pleasure. He shall even return, and have regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಿತ್ತೀಮಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬರುವುವು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಎದೆಗುಂದಿ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸುವನು.

31 And forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering, and they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

ಅವನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಆಶ್ರಯದುರ್ಗವಾದ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸುಮಾಡಿ, ನಿತ್ಯ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು. ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸುವುದು.

32 And he shall pervert by flatteries such as do wickedly against the covenant. But the people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವವರನ್ನು ನಯವಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಡಿಸುವನು, ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರಿಯುವ ಜನರು ದೃಢಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿ ಎದುರಿಸುವರು.

33 And those who are wise among the people shall instruct many, yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days.

ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಾದವರು ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವರು, ಆದರೂ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬೀಳುವರು.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help, but many shall join themselves to them with flatteries.

ಅವರು ಬೀಳುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಹಾಯ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು, ಆದರೆ ಅನೇಕರು ವಂಚನೆಯ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

35 And some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time appointed.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಬೀಳುವರು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದು.

36 And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods. And he shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished, for that which is determined shall be done.

ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವನು. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ದೇವರುಗಳ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರೋಷವು ತೀರುವವರೆಗೂ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವನು. ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾದದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರಲೇಬೇಕು.

37 Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god, for he shall magnify himself above all.

ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರನ್ನಾಗಲೀ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದವರನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಅವನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

38 But in his place he shall honor the god of fortresses. And a god whom his fathers did not know, he shall honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

ಅವನು ಕುಲ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ, ದುರ್ಗ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವನು. ಪೂರ್ವಜರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ, ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಗೌರವಿಸುವನು.

39 And he shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god. Whoever acknowledges him he will increase with glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.

ಅವನು ಅನ್ಯ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸುವನು. ತನಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಾದವರನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಕರಿಸುವನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹುಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವನು. ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನೇ ಹಂಚಿಬಿಡುವನು.

40 And at the time of the end, the king of the south shall contend with him, and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships, and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass through.

ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವನು; ಉತ್ತರದ ಅರಸನು ರಥಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ, ಸವಾರರೊಂದಿಗೂ, ಅನೇಕ ಹಡಗುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ಸುಳಿಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಳಯದಂತೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವನು.

41 He shall also enter into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown. But these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the sons of Ammon.

ಅವನು ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ದೇಶದೊಳಕ್ಕೂ ನುಗ್ಗುವನು; ಅನೇಕ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಎದೋಮು, ಮೋವಾಬು ಮತ್ತು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

ಅವನು ಇತರ ದೇಶಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವನು; ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದು.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

ಬಂಗಾರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರುವುದು. ಲಿಬಿಯದವರೂ ಕೂಷ್ಯರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗುವರು.

44 But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him, and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and to utterly sweep away many.

ಆದರೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ, ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುವು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಮಹಾ ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊರಡುವನು.

45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನಡುವೆ ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವನು. ಆದರೂ ಅವನು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣುವನು. ಯಾರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡರು.
