Colossians 2
1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have about you, and those at Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in flesh.
Jo es gribu, ka jūs ziniet, cik liela cīnīšanās man ir par jums un par tiem, kas ir Laodiķeā, un par visiem, kas manu miesīgu vaigu nav redzējuši;
2 So that their hearts may be encouraged, having been united together in love, and for all wealth of the full assurance of understanding, to knowledge of the mystery of the God and Father of the Christ.
Lai viņu sirdis taptu iepriecinātas, un viņi taptu savienoti iekš mīlestības un bagātīgi piepildīti ar saprašanu, atzīt Dieva, Tā Tēva, un Kristus noslēpumu.
3 In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Iekš Tā ir apslēpta visa gudrības un atzīšanas bagātība.
4 And I say this so that not any man may delude you with persuasive speech.
Bet to es saku, lai neviens jūs nepieviļ ar gudriem vārdiem.
5 For even though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your orderliness, and the steadfastness of your faith for Christ.
Jo jebšu es neesmu klāt ar miesu, tomēr es jums esmu klāt ar garu, priecādamies un redzēdams jūsu kārtīgu dzīvošanu un jūsu stipru ticību uz Kristu.
6 As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him,
Tad nu tā, kā jūs Kristu Jēzu, To Kungu, esat pieņēmuši, tā staigājiet iekš Viņa,
7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as ye were taught, abounding in it with thankfulness.
Iesakņoti un uztaisīti iekš Viņa un apstiprināti iekš ticības, tā kā jūs esat mācīti, augdami iekš tās ar pateicību.
8 Take heed lest there will be any man taking you captive through the love of wisdom and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ.
Pielūkojiet, ka neviens jūs neaplaupa caur pasaules gudrību un tukšu viltību pēc cilvēku stāstīšanām, pēc pasaules likumu sākumiem un ne pēc Kristus.
9 Because in him all the fullness of the divinity dwells bodily.
Jo iekš Viņa mājo visa dievības pilnība cilvēka miesās.
10 And ye are men who have been made full in him, who is the head of every principal office and position of authority.
Un jūs esat pilnīgi iekš Viņa, kas ir visas varas un valdības galva;
11 In whom also ye were circumcised a circumcision not made with hands, in the removal of the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of the Christ.
Iekš Viņa jūs arī esat apgraizīti ar apgraizīšanu ne rokām darītu, caur grēcīgā miesas prāta nolikšanu, caur Kristus apgraizīšanu;
12 Having been buried with him in immersion, in which also ye were raised together through faith of the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Un ir izdeldējis to parādu grāmatu, to likumu rakstu, kas mums bija pretī, un to ņēmis nost un piesitis pie krusta;
15 Having stripped the principal offices and the positions of authority, he exposed them openly, having triumphed over them by it.
Un ir nopostījis tās valdības un varas un tās klaji smieklā licis un Savas uzvarēšanas godu pār tām parādījis caur Viņu.
16 Let not any man therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or in the matter of a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
Tad nu lai neviens jūs netiesā par ēdienu, vai par dzērienu, vai par svētkiem vai jauniem mēnešiem, vai svētdienām;
17 which are a shadow of the things coming, but the body is Christ's.
Tā bija to nākošo lietu ēna; bet tā īstā būšana ir Kristus.
18 Let no man umpire against you insisting on self-mortification, and worship of the agents, intruding in things that he has not seen, vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh,
Lai no tās goda maksas neviens jūs nenogriež, kas liekā pazemībā un eņģeļu kalpošanā pats sev patīk un uz to dzenās, ko viņš nav redzējis, un ir velti uzpūsts savā miesas prātā,
19 and not holding to the head, from whom all the body, being supplied and held together through the connections and bonds, develops its growth from God.

20 If ye died with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why do ye submit to rules, as though living in the world?
Ja nu jūs līdz ar Kristu tiem pasaules likumiem esat nomiruši, ko tad jūs, tā kā vēl pasaulē dzīvotu, topat apgrūtināti ar pavēlēm:
21 Do not handle, nor taste, nor touch
Neaizskar! Nebaudi! Neaiztiec!
22 (which are all things for consumption by use), according to the commandments and teachings of men?
(Tam visam jāzūd, kad to lieto) - pēc cilvēku pavēlēm un mācībām,
23 Which having, are indeed a matter of wisdom in will-worship, and self-mortification, and austerity of the body-not in any value against indulgence of the flesh.
Tas gan liekās gudri dēļ tās pašu uzņemtās Dieva kalpošanas un pazemošanās un miesas netaupīšanas, tomēr nevienam nav par godu, bet tik par miesas prāta piepildīšanu.
