Colossians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy the brother,
परमेश्वर की इच्छा से मसीह येशु के प्रेरित पौलॉस तथा हमारे भाई तिमोथियॉस की ओर से,
2 to the holy and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
कोलोस्सॉय के पवित्र लोगों और मसीह में सच्चे विश्वासी भाई बहनों को, हमारे पिता परमेश्वर की ओर से अनुग्रह और शांति.
3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying about you,
तुम्हारे लिए प्रार्थना करते समय हम हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह के पिता परमेश्वर के सामने हमेशा अपना आभार प्रकट करते हैं,
4 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love toward all the sanctified,
क्योंकि हमने मसीह येशु में तुम्हारे विश्वास तथा सभी पवित्र लोगों के प्रति तुम्हारे प्रेम के विषय में सुना है.
5 because of the hope being reserved for you in the heavens, which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the good news
इनका आधार है वह विश्वास और प्रेम जो उपजा है उस आशा से जो आपके लिए स्वर्ग में रखी हुई है तथा जिसके विषय में तुम पहले ही सच्चाई का वर्णन—उद्धार के सुसमाचार में सुन चुके हो
6 being present for you, just as also in all the world. And it is bearing fruit and increasing, just as also among you from the day that ye heard and recognized the grace of God in truth.
जिसे तुमने प्राप्त किया है, यह सुसमाचार लगातार पूरे संसार में और तुममें भी उसी दिन से फूल और फल रहा है, जिस दिन से तुमने इसे सुना और तुम्हें तभी परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह का अहसास हुआ.
7 Just as also ye learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow bondman, who is a faithful helper of the Christ for you,
ठीक जिसे तुमने हमारे प्रिय सहकर्मी दास एपाफ़्रास से सीखा, जो तुम्हारे लिए मसीह का सच्चा सेवक है.
8 the man who also made clear to us your love in spirit.
वह हमें पवित्र आत्मा में तुम्हारे प्रेम के विषय में सूचित भी करता रहा है.
9 Because of this we also, from the day that we heard, cease not praying for you and making request that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
इसी कारण जिस दिन से हमने यह सुना है, हमने तुम्हारे लिए प्रार्थना करना नहीं छोड़ा और हम यह विनती करते हैं कि तुम पूरे आत्मिक ज्ञान और समझ में परमेश्वर की इच्छा के सारे ज्ञान में भरपूर होते जाओ,
10 For you to walk worthily of the Lord for every desire to please, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God,
कि तुम्हारा स्वभाव प्रभु के योग्य हो, जो उन्हें हर प्रकार से प्रसन्न करनेवाला हो, जो हर एक भले कार्य में फलदाई हो तथा परमेश्वर के सारे ज्ञान में उन्नत होते हुए तुम,
11 being strengthened in every ability, according to the dominion of his glory, for all perseverance and longsuffering with joy.
सारी सहनशीलता और धीरज के लिए उनकी महिमा की शक्ति के अनुसार सारे सामर्थ्य से बलवान होते जाओ तथा
12 Giving thanks to the Father who made us qualified for the share of the portion of the sanctified in light.
पिता का खुशी से आभार मानो, जिन्होंने तुम्हें ज्योति के राज्य में पवित्र लोगों की मीरास में शामिल होने के लिए योग्य बना दिया.
13 Who rescued us out of the power of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,
क्योंकि वही हमें अंधकार के वश से निकालकर अपने प्रिय पुत्र के राज्य में ले आए हैं.
14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
उन्हीं में हमारा छुटकारा, अर्थात् पाप की क्षमा है.
15 who is an image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
वह तो अनदेखे परमेश्वर का स्वरूप हैं. वह सारी सृष्टि में पहलौठे हैं.
16 Because in him all things were created, things in the heavens and things upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or lordships or principal offices or positions of authority, all things have been created through him, and for him.
क्योंकि उन्हीं में सब कुछ रचाया गया है—स्वर्गीय स्थानों में तथा पृथ्वी पर, देखी तथा अनदेखी, सिंहासन तथा प्रभुताएं, राजा तथा अधिकारी—सभी कुछ उन्हीं के द्वारा तथा उन्हीं के लिए बनाया गया.
17 And he is before all, and in him all things hold together.
वह सारी सृष्टि में प्रथम हैं और सारी सृष्टि उनमें स्थिर रहती है.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might become preeminent in all things.
वही सिर है कलीसिया के, जो उनका शरीर है; वही आदि है, मरे हुओं में से जी उठनेवालों में पहलौठे हैं कि वही सब में प्रधान हों.
19 Because in him it was considered good for all the fullness to dwell,
क्योंकि पिता की प्रसन्नता इसी में थी कि उनमें ही सारी परिपूर्णता वास करे और वह
20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him whether things upon the earth or things in the heavens.
क्रूस पर उनके बहाए गए लहू के द्वारा शांति की स्थापना कर उनके माध्यम से सभी का भौमिक या स्वर्गीय, स्वयं से मेल-मिलाप कराएं.
21 And you, being formerly alienated and hostile in mind, in works, in things evil. But now he has reconciled
हालांकि इसके पहले तुम बुरे कामों के कारण परमेश्वर से अलग थे तथा तुम्हारे मन में बैरभाव था.
22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblemished and unblameable before him.
फिर भी अब मसीह ने अपनी शारीरिक देह में मृत्यु के द्वारा तुम्हारा मेल-मिलाप करवाया कि वह तुम्हें परमेश्वर के सामने पवित्र, निर्दोष तथा निष्कलंक रूप में उपस्थित करें,
23 If ye truly continue in the faith, founded, and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the good news that ye heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul became a helper.
कि वास्तव में तुम विश्वास में बने रहो तथा दृढतापूर्वक स्थिर रहते हुए उन्नत होते जाओ, और ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार में बसी आशा न छोड़ो, जिसे तुमने सुना था, जिसकी घोषणा स्वर्ग के नीचे सारी सृष्टि में की गई और मैं, पौलॉस, जिसका सेवक चुना गया.
24 I now rejoice in sufferings for you, and make complete in my flesh things lacking of the afflictions of the Christ for his body, which is the church.
अब तो मैं तुम्हारे लिए अपने कष्टों में प्रफुल्लित होता हूं तथा मैं उनकी देह—कलीसिया के लिए अपने शरीर में मसीह की यातनाओं में बाकी रह गई कमी को पूरा करते हुए अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी पूरी कर रहा हूं.
25 Of which I became a helper according to the administration of God, which was given to me for you to fulfill the word of God,
इसी कलीसिया के लिए मैं तुम्हारे लिए परमेश्वर द्वारा सौंपी गई सेवा के लिए सेवक चुना गया कि मैं परमेश्वर के आदेश को पूरी तरह प्रचार कर सकूं.
26 the mystery that was hidden from the ages and from the generations, but has now been made known to his sanctified. (aiōn g165)
वह भेद जो युगों और पीढ़ियों से छिपा रहा है किंतु अब उनके पवित्र लोगों पर प्रकट किया गया है. (aiōn g165)
27 To whom God wanted to make known what is the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
जिन पर परमेश्वर ने अन्यजातियों के बीच इस भेद के वैभव के धन को प्रकट कर देना सही समझा. वह भेद है तुममें स्थिर बना मसीह, तुम्हारी होनेवाली महिमा की आशा.
28 Whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, so that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
हम बुद्धिमत्तापूर्वक हर एक को चेताते तथा हर एक को शिक्षा देते हुए उन्हीं का प्रचार करते हैं कि हम हर एक व्यक्ति को मसीह में परिपक्व रूप में प्रस्तुत करें.
29 For which also I labor, striving according to his working, which works in me with power.
इसी उद्देश्य से मैं उनके सामर्थ्य के अनुसार, जो मुझमें प्रबल रूप से कार्य कर रही है, मेहनत करते हुए परिश्रम कर रहा हूं.
