< Amos 4 >

1 Hear this word, ye cows of Bashan, who are in the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who say to their lords, Bring, and let us drink.
Janjiño o tsara zao ry añombe’ i Basane ambohi’ i Sameroneo, ie forekeke’ areo o rarakeo, naho pirite’ areo o poi’eo, vaho manao amo roandriañeo ty hoe: Añendeso hinoman-tika.
2 The lord Jehovah has sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that they shall take you away with hooks, and your residue with fish-hooks.
Fa nifanta ty amy hamasiña’ey t’Iehovà, Talè: Toe ho tsatok’ ama’ areo ty andro t’ie hasese mb’eo am-porengotse, ty sehanga’ areo am-bintañe.
3 And ye shall go out at the breaches, each one straight before her, and ye shall cast yourselves into Harmon, says Jehovah.
Hipororoak’ amo heba’eo nahareo songa rakemba hifanoitoy mb’eo, vaho hahifike mb’e Karmone añe hoe t’Iehovà.
4 Come to Bethel and transgress, to Gilgal and multiply transgression. And bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes every three days.
Mb’e Betele mb’atoy, le mandilara; mb’e Gilgale le ampitombò hakeo; banabanao o enga’ areoo te maraindray, ty faha-folo’e añ’andro fahatelo’e;
5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving of that which is leavened, and proclaim freewill offerings, and publish them. For this pleases you, O ye sons of Israel, says the lord Jehovah.
naho añengao sorom-pandrengeañe milaro lalivay, le tseizo o banabanan-tsatrin-trokeo, vaho isengeo, fa izay ty tea’ areo, ry ana’Israeleo, hoe t’Iehovà, Talè.
6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places, yet ye have not returned to me, says Jehovah.
Fa nitolorako nife malio amo rova’ areo iabio, naho tsy fahampeañe mofo añ’anjomba’ areo, fe tsy nimpoly amako nahareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
7 And I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest. And I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city. One piece was rained upon, and the piece upon which it did not rain withered.
Nampihakañeko ama’ areo ty orañe, te mbe volañe telo añe i fitatahañey, le nampahaviako orañe ty rova raike fa tsy nampahaviako ka ty rova raike; toetse raike ty nahazo orañe, niforejeje ka i tsy nahavia’ey.
8 So two or three cities wandered to one city to drink water, and were not satisfied. Yet ye have not returned to me, says Jehovah.
Aa le nitoha rano hinoma’e mb’ an-drova raike añe ty rova telo ndra roe, fa tsy nahaeneñe, mboe tsy nimpoly amako avao nahareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew. The multitude of your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees the palmer-worm has devoured. Yet ye have not returned to me, says Jehovah.
F’ie linafako an-tio-maike naho an-tromambo; le nabotse’ ty kijeja ty hamaroa’ o golobo’ areoo, naho o tanem-bahe’ areoo, vaho o voanio’ areoo; fe tsy nimpoly amako, hoe t’Iehovà.
10 I have sent among you the pestilence according to the manner of Egypt. I have slain your young men with the sword, and have carried away your horses, and I have made the stench of your camp to come up even into your nostrils. Yet ye have not returned to me, says Jehovah.
Nahitriko ama’ areo ty angorosy manahake o tan-tane Mitsraime añeo, zinamako am-pibara o ajalahi’ areoo, naho tinavako o soavala’ areoo, nampionjoneko mb’am-piantsona’ areo ao ty fitrotròra’e; fe tsy nimpoly amako, hoe t’Iehovà.
11 I have overthrown cities among you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a brand plucked out of the burning. Yet ye have not returned to me, says Jehovah.
Finongoko ty ila’e ama’ areo manahake ty namongoran’Añahare i Sedome naho i Amorà, ie nihoe foroha mirekake tsinoake amy afoy ao; fe mboe tsy nimpoly amako hoe t’Iehovà.
12 Therefore thus I will do to thee, O Israel, and because I will do this to thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
Toly ndra inao ty hanoeko ama’o ry Israele; kanao tsy mete tsy hanoeko, le mihentseña hifañaoñe aman’ Añahare’o ry Israele.
13 For, lo, he who forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads upon the high places of the earth-Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.
Inao, i mpitsene o vohitseo naho mpamboatse o tiokeoy, I mampiborake o vetsevetse’eo am’ondatioy. I mampiboake ty manjirik’andro ami’ty fimoromoroñe, I midraidraitse amo toets’ambone’ ty tane toioy; Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i màroy ty tahina’e.
