2 Timothy 4
1 I solemnly testify therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom,
இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாகவும், கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்கு முன்பாகவும், உயிரோடிருக்கிறவர்களையும் இறந்தவர்களையும் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்படி வரப்போகிற, அவருடைய அரசையும் கருத்தில்கொண்டு, நான் உனக்கு இந்தக் கட்டளையைக் கொடுக்கிறேன்:
2 preach the word, stand ready in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
வார்த்தையைப் பிரசங்கம்பண்ணு; சாதகமான சூழ்நிலையிலும், பாதகமான சூழ்நிலையிலும் அதற்கு ஆயத்தமாய் இரு. நீடிய பொறுமையுடனும், கவனமான அறிவுறுத்தலுடனும் சீர்திருத்து. கண்டனம் செய், உற்சாகப்படுத்து.
3 For there will be time when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but they will accumulate teachers to themselves according to their own desires, who tickle the ear,
ஏனெனில், ஆரோக்கியமான போதனைகளை மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாத காலம் வரும். தங்கள் ஆசைகளுக்கிணங்க தங்களுடைய காதுகளுக்கு இதமானவற்றைச் சொல்லும் போதகர்கள் அநேகரைத் தங்களுக்காகச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.
4 and will indeed turn the ear away from the truth, and will be turned aside to myths.
அவர்கள் சத்தியத்திற்கு தங்கள் செவிகளை விலக்கி கற்பனைக் கதைகளுக்குச் செவிசாய்ப்பார்கள்.
5 But be thou sober in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, bring thy ministry to fullness.
ஆனால் நீயோ, எல்லா சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் மனத்தெளிவுள்ளவனாயிரு. பாடுகளைத் தாங்கிக்கொள். நற்செய்தி ஊழியனின் பணியைச்செய். உனது ஊழியத்திற்குரிய கடமைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் நிறைவேற்று.
6 For I am already poured out a libation, and the time of my dissolution is imminent.
ஏனெனில் நான் இப்போதே பானபலியாக ஊற்றப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். நான் தேகத்தைவிட்டுப் பிரியும் காலம் வந்துவிட்டது.
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.
நான் ஆவிக்குரிய போராட்டத்தை நன்றாகப் போராடினேன். எனக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட ஓட்டத்தை ஓடி முடித்தேன். என் விசுவாசத்தைக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me in that day, and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
இப்பொழுது எனக்கென நீதியின் கிரீடம் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அதை நீதியுள்ள நீதிபதியாகிய கர்த்தர் அந்நாளில் எனக்குத் தருவார். எனக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, அவருடைய வருகையை வாஞ்சையுடன் எதிர்பார்த்திருக்கிற எல்லோருக்கும் கொடுப்பார்.
9 Hurry to come to me quickly,
நீ விரைவில் என்னிடம் வருவதற்கு முயற்சிசெய்.
10 for Demas forsook me having loved the present age, and he went to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
ஏனெனில் தேமா, இந்த உலகத்தில் ஆசைவைத்து என்னைக் கைவிட்டு தெசலோனிக்கேயாவுக்கு போய்விட்டான். கிரேஸ்கு, கலாத்தியாவுக்கும் தீத்து தல்மாத்தியாவுக்கும் போய்விட்டார்கள். (aiōn g165)
11 Only Luke is with me. Having taken Mark, bring him with thee, for he is useful to me for service.
லூக்கா மட்டுமே என்னுடன் இருக்கிறான். மாற்குவையும் உன்னுடன் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வா. ஏனெனில் அவன் எனது ஊழியத்தில் எனக்கு உதவியாயிருப்பான்.
12 But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus.
நான் தீகிக்குவை எபேசுவிற்கு அனுப்பியுள்ளேன்.
13 Bring the cloak that I left behind at Troas with Carpus when thou come, and the books, especially the parchments.
துரோவாவிலிருக்கிற கார்ப்பு என்பவனிடத்தில் நான் விட்டுவந்த எனது மேலுடையை நீ வரும்போது கொண்டுவா. என் புத்தகச்சுருள்களையும், விசேஷமாக தோல்சுருள்களையும் கொண்டுவா.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did many evil things to me. May the Lord repay him according to his works,
செப்புத்தொழிலாளியாகிய அலெக்சாந்தர் எனக்கு மிகவும் தீமைசெய்தான். அவனுடைய செயல்களுக்கான பிரதிபலனை கர்த்தர் அவனுக்குக் கொடுப்பார்.
15 of whom thou also beware, for he extremely opposed our words.
நீயும் அவனைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு. ஏனெனில் அவன், நமது செய்தியைக் கடுமையாக எதிர்த்தான்.
16 At my first defense no man came with me, but all forsook me. May it not be reckoned to them.
எனது முதலாவது வழக்கு விசாரணையில் எனக்கு ஆதரவாக யாரும் வரவில்லை. எல்லோரும் என்னைக் கைவிட்டார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக அது குற்றமாய் எண்ணப்படாதிருப்பதாக.
17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the sacred message might be brought to fullness, and all the Gentiles might hear. And I was rescued out of the mouth of the lion.
ஆனால் கர்த்தர் என் பக்கத்தில் நின்று, எனக்குப் பெலன் கொடுத்தார். இதனால் என் மூலமாய் நற்செய்தி முழுமையாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதுடன், யூதரல்லாத மக்களும் அதைக் கேட்கக் கூடியதாயிருந்தது. என்னை சிங்கத்தின் வாயிலிருந்தும் விடுவித்தார்.
18 And the Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will save me for his heavenly kingdom, to whom is the glory into the ages of the ages. Truly. (aiōn g165)
ஆம், கர்த்தர் தீயவனின் எல்லாத் தாக்குதலிலிருந்தும் என்னை விடுவித்துத் தனது பரலோக அரசுக்குள் என்னைப் பாதுகாப்பாகச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வார். அவருக்கே என்றென்றைக்கும் மகிமை உண்டாவதாக. ஆமென். (aiōn g165)
19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
பிரிஸ்காளுக்கும், ஆக்கில்லாவுக்கும், ஒநேசிப்போருவின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கும் வாழ்த்துதல் சொல்.
20 Erastus remained at Corinth, but Trophimus I left being sick at Miletus.
எரஸ்து கொரிந்துவில் தங்கிவிட்டான். துரோப்பீமு வியாதியாய் இருந்ததால், நான் அவனை மிலேத்துவில் விட்டுவந்தேன்.
21 Hurry to come before winter. Eubulus salutes thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers.
குளிர் காலத்திற்கு முன்பு, இங்கு வந்து சேருவதற்கு முயற்சிசெய். ஐபூலுவும், புதேஞ்சும், லீனுவும், கலவுதியாளும், மற்ற எல்லா பிரியமானவர்களும் உன்னை வாழ்த்துகிறார்கள்.
22 The Lord Jesus Christ is with thy spirit. Grace is with you. Truly.
ஆண்டவர் உனது ஆவியோடு இருப்பாராக. கிருபை உங்கள் அனைவரோடும் இருப்பதாக.
