< 2 Thessalonians 3 >
1 Finally, brothers, pray about us, so that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, just as also with you,
Abooluganda, eky’enkomerero, mutusabirenga, ekigambo kya Mukama kibune mangu era Mukama agulumizibwenga, nga bw’agulumizibwa mu mmwe,
2 and that we may be delivered from aberrant and wicked men, for the faith is not of all men.
tulyoke tununulibwe okuva mu bakozi b’ebibi, kubanga si bonna abakkiriza.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and will keep you from evil.
Naye Mukama waffe mwesigwa, alibanyweza mmwe era anaabawonyanga Setaani.
4 And we are persuaded in the Lord toward you, that what we command you, ye both are doing and will do.
Era twesiga nga Mukama waffe, abakozesa ebyo bye twabayigiriza era nga munaabikolanga bulijjo.
5 And may the Lord direct your hearts for the love of God, and for the steadfastness of the Christ.
Mukama waffe aluŋŋamyenga emitima gyammwe mu kutegeera okwagala kwa Katonda, n’obugumiikiriza obuva eri Kristo.
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for you to withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition, which they received from us.
Abooluganda abaagalwa, mbakuutira mu linnya lya Mukama waffe Yesu Kristo ne mu buyinza bwe, mwewalenga abagayaavu abatayagala kukola mirimu ne balemwa okugoberera ekyokulabirako kye twabateerawo.
7 For ye yourselves know how it is necessary to imitate us. Because we did not act disorderly among you,
Kubanga mmwe bennyini mumanyi bulungi bwe kibagwanira okutugobereranga ng’ekyokulabirako kyammwe, kubanga temwatulaba nga twegomba okulya ebyo bye tutakoleredde,
8 nor did we eat bread gratis from any man, but in labor and toil, working night and day in order not to burden any of you.
tetwakkiriza kulya mmere ya muntu yenna awatali kumusasula. Twafubanga nnyo ne tukoowa nga tukola emirimu emisana n’ekiro tulyoke tufunemu bye twetaaga okukozesa, era tuleme kuzitoowerera muntu n’omu ku mmwe.
9 Not because we have no right, but that we might give ourselves an example to you, in order to imitate us.
Si kubanga tetwalina buyinza okubagamba mmwe okutuliisa, naye twayagala mutulabireko nga bwe kibagwanidde okukolanga.
10 For even when we were with you we commanded you this, that if any man will not work, neither let him eat.
Era ne bwe twali gye muli eyo, twabakuutira nti omuntu yenna bw’agaananga okukola emirimu, n’okulya talyanga.
11 For we hear of some who walk among you disorderly, not working at all, but being busybodies.
Kyokka tuwulira nti mu mmwe mulimu abagayaavu abatayagala kukola, aboonoona ebiseera byabwe mu kusaasaanya eŋŋambo.
12 Now to such men we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that, working with quietness, they should eat their own bread.
Mu linnya lya Mukama waffe, tubeegayirira era tubakuutira abali bwe batyo, okukolanga emirimu n’obunyiikivu n’obuteefu balyoke balyenga ebyo bye bakoleredde.
13 But ye, brothers, do not become weary doing good.
Naye mmwe temukoowanga kukola bulungi abooluganda abaagalwa.
14 And if any man does not obey our word by this letter, note that man, and do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.
Era omuntu yenna bw’atagonderanga biragiro byaffe mu bbaluwa eno, oyo mumwetegereze, muleme kukolagananga naye, ensonyi ziryoke zimukwate.
15 And yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
So temumuyisanga nga mulabe wammwe naye mumubuulirirenga ng’owooluganda eyetaaga okulabulwa.
16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace through everything in every way. The Lord is with all of you.
Kale Mukama nannyini mirembe abawenga emirembe mu byonna. Mukama abeerenga nammwe mwenna.
17 The salutation of Paul by my hand, which is a mark in every letter I write this way.
Kuno kwe kulamusa kwange, nze Pawulo, mu mukono gwange, bwe ntyo bwe nkola ku nkomerero z’ebbaluwa zange zonna okulaga nti zivudde gye ndi. Bwe nti bwe mpandiika.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with all of you. Truly.
Ekisa kya Mukama waffe Yesu Kristo kibeerenga nammwe mwenna.
