2 Samuel 16
1 And when David was a little past the top of the ascent, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a couple of saddled donkeys, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred clusters of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.
౧దావీదు కొండ అంచుకు అవతల కొంచెం దూరం వెళ్లినప్పుడు మెఫీబోషెతు సేవకుడు సీబా కళ్ళకు గంతలు కట్టిబడి ఉన్న రెండు గాడిదలను తీసుకువచ్చాడు. గాడిదలపై 200 రొట్టెలు, 100 ద్రాక్ష గెలలు, వంద అంజూర ఫలాలున్న కొమ్మలు, ఒక ద్రాక్షారసపు తిత్తి వేయబడి ఉన్నాయి.
2 And the king said to Ziba, What do thou mean by these? And Ziba said, The donkeys are for the king's household to ride on, and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat, and the wine, that such as are faint in the wilderness may drink.
౨రాజు “ఇవి ఎందుకు తెచ్చావు?” అని సీబాను అడిగాడు. అప్పుడు సీబా “రాజు పరివారం ఎక్కడానికి గాడిదలు, పనివారు తినడానికి రొట్టెలు, అంజూర ఫలాల కొమ్మలు, ఎడారిలో అలసిపోయిన వారు తాగడానికి ద్రాక్షారసం తెచ్చాను” అని చెప్పాడు.
3 And the king said, And where is thy master's son? And Ziba said to the king, Behold, he abides at Jerusalem, for he said, Today the house of Israel will restore for me the kingdom of my father.
౩అప్పుడు రాజు “నీ యజమాని కొడుకు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాడు?” అని అడిగాడు. సీబా “అయ్యా, ఈరోజు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తన తండ్రి రాజ్యాన్ని తనకు తిరిగి ఇప్పిస్తారనుకుని అతడు యెరూషలేములో ఉండిపోయాడు” అని చెప్పాడు.
4 Then the king said to Ziba, Behold, all that pertains to Mephibosheth is thine. And Ziba said, I do obeisance. Let me find favor in thy sight, my lord, O king.
౪అప్పుడు రాజు “మెఫీబోషెతుకు కలిగినదంతా నీకే దక్కుతుంది” అని సీబాతో చెప్పినప్పుడు సీబా “నా ఏలికవైన రాజా, నాపై నీ కనికరం నిలిచి ఉంటుంది గాక. నీకు ఇవే నా నమస్కారాలు” అన్నాడు.
5 And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, there came out from there a man of the family of the house of Saul whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera. He came out, cursing as he came.
౫రాజైన దావీదు బహూరీము దగ్గర కు వచ్చినప్పుడు సౌలు కుటుంబానికి చెందిన గెరా కుమారుడు షిమీ అనేవాడు అక్కడికి వచ్చాడు.
6 And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David, and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.
౬అతడు దావీదు పక్కనే నడుస్తూ “నరహంతకుడా, దుర్మార్గుడా ఛీ పో, ఛీ పో. రాజ్యాధికారం కోసం నువ్వు తరిమివేసిన సౌలు కుటుంబంవారి ఉసురు యెహోవా నీపైకి రప్పించాడు.
7 And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Begone, begone, thou man of blood, and base fellow.
౭నీ కుమారుడు అబ్షాలోము చేతికి యెహోవా రాజ్యాన్ని అప్పగించాడు. నువ్వు హంతకుడివి కాబట్టే ఈ మోసంలో చిక్కుకున్నావు” అని దుర్భాషలాడుతూ వచ్చాడు.
8 Jehovah has returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul in whose stead thou have reigned. And Jehovah has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son, and, behold, thou are taken in thine own mischief because thou are a man of blood.
౮రాజైన దావీదు ఇరుపక్కలా ప్రజలు, బలాఢ్యులైన వారంతా ఉన్నప్పటికీ అతడు దావీదు మీదా, అతని సేవకుల మీదా రాళ్లు రువ్వాడు.
9 Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
౯అప్పుడు సెరూయా కుమారుడు అబీషై “ఈ చచ్చిన కుక్క నా యజమానివి, రాజువు అయిన నిన్ను శపిస్తాడా? నాకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వు, నేను వాడి తల నరుకుతాను” అన్నాడు.
10 And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because Jehovah has said to him, Curse David, who then shall say, Why have thou done so?
౧౦అందుకు రాజు “సెరూయా కొడుకుల్లారా, మీకు నామీద ఎందుకింత అభిమానం? దావీదును శపించమని యెహోవా అతనికి చెప్పి ఉన్నట్టయితే అతణ్ణి శపించయ్యండి. నువ్వు ఇలా ఎందుకు చేస్తున్నావని అడిగేవాళ్ళెవరు?” అని చెప్పాడు.
11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, who came forth from my bowels, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite? Let him alone, and let him curse, for Jehovah has bidden him.
౧౧తరువాత అబీషైతో, తన సేవకులందరితో, ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నా కడుపున పుట్టిన నా కొడుకే నన్ను చంపాలని చూస్తున్నప్పుడు ఈ బెన్యామీయుడు ఇలా చేయడంలో ఆశ్చర్యం ఏముంది? వాడి సంగతి వదిలిపెట్టండి. యెహోవా వాడికి సెలవిచ్చాడు, వాడిని తిట్టనివ్వండి.
12 It may be that Jehovah will look on the wrong done to me, and that Jehovah will reward me good for his cursing of me this day.
౧౨యెహోవా నా బాధలను పట్టించుకుంటాడేమో, వాడు పెట్టిన శాపాలకు బదులు నాకు మేలు చేస్తాడేమో.”
13 So David and his men went by the way, and Shimei went along on the hill-side opposite him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.
౧౩తరువాత దావీదు, అతని మనుషులు బయలుదేరి వెళ్ళిపోయారు. వారు వెళ్తుండగా షిమీ దావీదుకు ఎదురుగా కొండ పక్కనే నడుస్తూ అతని పైకి రాళ్లు రువ్వుతూ, దుమ్మెత్తి పోస్తూ ఉన్నాడు.
14 And the king, and all the people who were with him, came weary, and he refreshed himself there.
౧౪రాజు, అతనితో ఉన్నవారంతా బాగా అలసిపోయి ఉండడంవల్ల ఒక చోటికి వచ్చి అలసట తీర్చుకున్నారు.
15 And Absalom, and all the people, the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him.
౧౫అబ్షాలోము, అహీతోపెలు, ఇశ్రాయేలువారంతా యెరూషలేము చేరుకున్నారు.
16 And it came to pass, when Hushai the Archite, David's friend, came to Absalom, that Hushai said to Absalom, Live, O king. Live, O king.
౧౬దావీదుతో స్నేహంగా ఉన్న అర్కీయుడు హూషై అనేవాడు అబ్షాలోము దగ్గరికి వచ్చాడు. అబ్షాలోమును చూసి “రాజు సదాకాలం జీవిస్తాడు గాక, రాజు సదాకాలం జీవిస్తాడు గాక” అని చెప్పాడు.
17 And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? Why did thou not go with thy friend?
౧౭అప్పుడు అబ్షాలోము “నీ స్నేహితునికి నువ్వు చేసే ఉపకారమిదేనా? నీ స్నేహితునితో కలసి ఎందుకు వెళ్ళలేదు?” అని అడిగాడు.
18 And Hushai said to Absalom, No, but whom Jehovah, and this people, and all the men of Israel have chosen, his will I be, and with him I will abide.
౧౮హూషై “యెహోవా, ఈ ప్రజలు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా ఎవరు రాజుగా ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటారో నేను అతని పక్షం వహిస్తాను. అతని దగ్గరే ఉంటాను.
19 And again, whom should I serve? Is it not in the presence of his son? As I have served in thy father's presence, so I will be in thy presence.
౧౯నేనెవరికి సేవ చేయాలి? నీ తండ్రి కుమారుడికి నేను సేవ చేయాలి గదా. నీ తండ్రికి చేసినట్టు నీకు కూడా సేవ చేస్తాను” అని అబ్షాలోముతో చెప్పాడు.
20 Then Absalom said to Ahithophel, Give your counsel what we shall do.
౨౦తరువాత అబ్షాలోము అహీతోపెలును పిలిపించాడు. “మనం ఏ ఏ పనులు చెయ్యాలో ఆలోచిద్దాం” అన్నాడు.
21 And Ahithophel said to Absalom, Go in to thy father's concubines that he has left to keep the house, and all Israel will hear that thou are abhorred by thy father. Then the hands of all who are with thee will be strong.
౨౧అప్పుడు అహీతోపెలు “నీ తండ్రి బయలుదేరినప్పుడు ఇంటికి కాపలా ఉంచిన నీ తండ్రి ఉపపత్నులతో నువ్వు శయనించడం వల్ల నువ్వు నీ తండ్రికి మరింత అసహ్యుడవయ్యావని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా తెలుసుకొంటారు. అప్పుడు నీ పక్షం వహించిన వారందరికీ ధైర్యం పెరుగుతుంది” అన్నాడు.
22 So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house, and Absalom went in to his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.
౨౨తరువాత వారు మేడపైన అబ్షాలోముకు గుడారం వేశారు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకందరికీ తెలిసేలా అతడు తన తండ్రి ఉపపత్నులతో లైంగికంగా కలిశాడు.
23 And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man inquired at the oracle of God; so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.
౨౩ఆ రోజుల్లో అహీతోపెలు ఏదైనా ఆలోచన చెప్పితే అది దేవుని దగ్గర విచారణ చేయగా వచ్చినట్టుగా ఉండేది. దావీదు, అబ్షాలోము కూడా అలాగే భావించేవారు.
