< 2 Samuel 13 >
1 And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister whose name was Tamar. And Amnon the son of David loved her.
Ket napasamak kalpasan daytoy a ni Amnon a putot ni David ket nagayat a napalalo iti napintas a kabsatna iti ama a ni Tamar, a kabsat a mismo ni Absalom, maysa pay kadagiti putot a lalaki ni David.
2 And Amnon was so frustrated that he fell sick because of his sister Tamar. For she was a virgin, and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.
Naupay iti kasta unay ni Amnon nga uray la agsakiten gapu iti kabsatna a ni Tamar. Maysa a birhen ni Tamar, ket kasla saan a kabaelan ni Amnon nga agaramid iti aniaman kenkuana.
3 But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother. And Jonadab was a very sly man.
Ngem addaan ni Amnon iti gayyem nga agnagan iti Jonadab a putot ni Samma, kabsat a lalaki ni David. Nasikap unay a lalaki ni Jonadab.
4 And he said to him, Why, O son of the king, are thou emaciated this way from day to day? Will thou not tell me? And Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
Kinuna ni Jonadab kenni Amnon, “Apay a malmalday a binigat ti anak ti ari? Saanmo kadi nga ibaga kaniak?” Isu a simmungbat ni Amnon kenkuana, “Ay-ayatek ni Tamar a kabsat a babai ni Absalom a kabsatko.”
5 And Jonadab said to him, Lie down on thy bed, and feign thyself sick. And when thy father comes to see thee, say to him, Let my sister Tamar come, I pray thee, and give me bread to eat, and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it from her hand.
Kinuna ni Jonadab kenkuana, “Aggiddaka iti pagiddaam ket aginsasakitka. No umaynaka sarungkaran ti amam, dawatem kenkuana, 'Pangngaasim ta ibaonmo ti kabsatko a ni Tamar a mangted ti kanek ket lutoenna daytoy iti sangoanak, tapno makitak daytoy ket manganak manipud kadagiti imana?'”
6 So Amnon lay down, and feigned himself sick. And when the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, Let my sister Tamar come, I pray thee, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat from her hand.
Isu a nagidda ni Amnon ket naginsasakit. Idi immay ti ari a mangsarungkar kenkuana, kinuna ni Amnon iti ari, “Pangaasim ta ibaonmo ti kabsatko a ni Tamar nga agluto iti makan para iti sakitko ditoy ayanko tapno manganak manipud kadagiti imana.”
7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and make food for him.
Kalpasanna, nagipatulod ni David iti sao kenni Tamar idiay palasio ti ari, kinunana, “Mapanka ita iti balay ti kabsatmo a ni Amnon ken agisaganaka iti makan para kenkuana.”
8 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house, and he was laid down. And she took dough, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and baked the cakes.
Isu a napan ni Tamar iti balay ti kabsatna a ni Amnon nga ayan ti pagid-iddaanna. Nangala ni Tamar iti gamay, minasana daytoy ket nagaramid isuna iti tinapay iti imatang ni Amnon ket linuto daytoy.
9 And she took the pan, and poured them out before him, but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have all men out from me. And they went out every man from him.
Inadawna ti paryok ket intedna ti tinapay kenkuana, ngem saanna a kinayat ti mangan. Ket imbaga ni Amnon kadagiti dadduma nga adda sadiay, “Paruarem ida amin, adaywandak.” Isu a pinanawanda amin isuna.
10 And Amnon said to Tamar, Bring the food into the chamber that I may eat from thy hand. And Tamar took the cakes that she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.
Imbaga ngarud ni Amnon kenni Tamar, “Iyunegmo ti makan iti siledko tapno manganak manipud kadagiti imam.” Innala ngarud ni Tamar ti tinapay a linutona, ket inyunegna iti siled ni Amnon a kabsatna.
11 And when she had brought them near to him to eat, he took hold of her, and said to her, Come, lie with me, my sister.
Idi inyasidegna ti makan kenkuana, ginammatanna ti imana ket imbagana kenkuana, “Umayka, makikaiddaka kaniak, kabsatko.”
12 And she answered him, No, my brother, do not force me, for no such thing ought to be done in Israel. Do not do thou this folly.
Kinunana kenkuana, “Saan kabsatko, saannak a piliten ta awan ti kastoy a rumbeng a mapasamak iti Israel. Saanmo nga aramiden daytoy a nakababain a banag!
13 And I, where shall I carry my shame? And as for thee, thou will be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak to the king, for he will not withhold me from thee.
Papanakto koma tapno maitarayak ti pannakaibabain a maitednanto daytoy iti biagko? Ken mangmarkanto daytoy nga aramid kenka a kas awan babainna a maag iti entero nga Israel. Pangaasim, dawatek kenka a makitungtongka iti ari. Palubosannaka a mangikasar kaniak.”
14 However he would not hearken to her voice, but being stronger than she, he forced her, and lay with her.
Nupay kasta, saan nga impangag isuna ni Amnon. Agsipud ta napigpigsa isuna ngem ni Tamar, pinilitna ket kinaiddana isuna.
15 Then Amnon hated her with exceedingly great hatred, for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. And Amnon said to her, Arise, be gone.
Kalpasanna, kinagura ni Amnon iti kasta unay ni Tamar. Nakarkaro ti gurana kenkuana ngem ti panagayatna kenkuana idi. Kinuna ni Amnon kenkuana, “Tumakderka ket pumanawkan.”
16 And she said to him, Not so, because this great wrong in putting me forth is worse than the other that thou did to me. But he would not hearken to her.
Ngem insungbatna kenkuana, “Saan! Gapu ta nadakdakes ti panangpapanawmo kaniak ngem ti inaramidmo kaniak!”Ngem saan nga impangag ni Amnon isuna.
17 Then he called his servant who ministered to him, and said, Put this woman out from me now, and bolt the door after her.
Ngem ketdi, inayabanna ti adipen a mangay-aywan kenkuana ket kinunana, “Iyadayom kaniak daytoy a babai ket ibalunetmo ti ridaw apaman a makaruar.”
18 And she had a garment of various colors upon her, for with such robes were the king's daughters who were virgins appareled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.
Ket inruar ti adipen ni Tamar ket imbalunetna ti ridaw apaman a nakaruar. Nakasuot ni Tamar iti kawes nga atiddog ti maggasna gapu ta kasta nga agarruat dagiti birhen a prinsesa.
19 And Tamar put ashes on her head, and tore her garment of various colors that was on her. And she laid her hand on her head, and went her way, crying aloud as she went.
Nangiwarakiwak ni Tamar iti dapdapo iti ulona ket rinay-abna ti kagayna. Imparabawna dagiti imana iti ulona sa nagna nga immadayo, agsangsangit iti napigsa bayat ti iyaadayona.
20 And Absalom her brother said to her, Has Amnon thy brother been with thee? But now hold thy peace, my sister. He is thy brother. Do not take this thing to heart. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.
Kinuna ni Absalom a kabsatna kenkuana, “Nakaduam kadi ni Amnon a kabsatmo? Ngem ita, agulimekka kabsatko. Isuna ket kabsatmo a lalaki. Saanmo nga ipapuso daytoy a banag.” Nagtalinaed ngarud ni Tamar nga agmaymaysa iti balay ni Absalom a kabsatna.
21 But when king David heard of all these things, he was very angry.
Ngem idi nangngeg ni Ari David amin dagitoy, napalalo ti pungtotna.
22 And Absalom spoke to Amnon neither good nor bad, for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.
Awan ti imbagbaga ni Absalom kenni Amnon, ta kinagura ni Absalom isuna gapu iti inaramidna ken no kasanona nga imbabain ti kabsatna a ni Tamar.
23 And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheep-shearers in Baal-hazor, which is beside Ephraim, and Absalom invited all the king's sons.
Ket napasamak kalpasan iti dua a tawen, addaan ni Absalom iti parapukis iti karnero nga agtrabtrabaho idiay Baal Hazor, nga asideg iti Efraim, ket inawis ni Absalom amin a putot a lallaki iti ari a sumarungkar sadiay.
24 And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant has sheep-shearers. Let the king, I pray thee, and his servants go with thy servant.
Napan ni Absalom iti ari ket kinunana, “Kitaem tatta, addaan daytoy adipenmo kadagiti parapukis iti karnero. Pangaasim, sumurot koma ti ari ken dagiti adipenna kaniak, nga adipenmo.”
25 And the king said to Absalom, No, my son, let us not all go, lest we be burdensome to thee. And he pressed him. However he would not go, but blessed him.
Simmungbat ti ari kenni Absalom, “Saan, anakko, saan a masapul nga umaykami amin gapu ta agbalinkami a dadagsen kenka.” Inallukoy ni Absalom ti ari, ngem nagkedked isuna a mapan, nupay kasta, binendisionanna latta ni Absalom.
26 Then Absalom said, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said to him, Why should he go with thee?
Ket kinuna ni Absalom, “No saan, pangaasim ta palubosam koma a sumurot kadakami ti kabsatko a ni Amnon.” Isu a kinuna ti ari kenkuana, “Apay a masapul a sumurot ni Amnon kadakayo?”
27 But Absalom pressed him, and he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him.
Pinilit ni Absalom ni David, isu a pinalubosanna ni Amnon ken amin a prinsipe a sumurot kenkuana.
28 And Absalom commanded his servants, saying, Notice ye now, when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say to you, Smite Amnon, then kill him. Fear not; have I not commanded you? Be courageous, and be valiant.
Binilin ni Absalom dagiti adipenna a kunana, “Denggenyo a nalaing. No mangrugi a mabartek iti arak ni Amnon, ken no ibagak kadakayo, 'Darupenyo ni Amnon,' papatayenyo ngarud isuna. Saankayo nga agbuteng. Saan kadi a binilinkayo? Papigsaenyo ti nakemyo ken agbalinkayo a natured.”
29 And the servants of Absalom did to Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king's sons arose, and every man got up upon his mule, and fled.
Isu nga inaramid dagiti adipen ni Absalom kenni Amnon kas imbilinna kadakuada. Kalpasanna, timmakder amin dagiti prinsipe ket nagsakay ti tunggal maysa iti mulona sada naglibas.”
30 And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that the news came to David, saying, Absalom has slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.
Ket napasamak daytoy, kabayatan nga addada iti dalan, nakadanon ti damag kenni David a kunana, “Pinatay ni Absalom amin dagiti prinsipe, ken awan uray maysa kadakuada ti nabati.”
31 Then the king arose, and tore his garments, and lay on the earth, and all his servants stood by with their clothes torn.
Timmakder ti ari ket rinay-abna dagiti pagan-anayna, sa nagpakleb iti suelo; timmakder iti abayna dagiti amin nga adipenna a naray-ab dagiti pagan-anayda.
32 And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that they have killed all the young men the king's sons, for Amnon only is dead. For by the command of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.
Simmungbat ni Jonadab nga anak ni Samma a kabsat a lalaki ni David ket kinunana, “Saan koma a patien ti apok a pinapatayda dagiti amin a prinsipe agsipud ta ni Amnon laeng ti natay. Pinanggep daytoy ni Absalom manipud pay iti aldaw nga rinames ni Amnon ti kabsatna a ni Tamar.
33 Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead, for only Amnon is dead.
Saan koma ngarud nga ipapuso ti amok nga ari daytoy a damag, saanmo koma patien a natay aminen dagiti prinsipe, ta ni Amnon laeng ti natay.”
34 But Absalom fled. And the young man who kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill-side behind him.
Naglibas ni Absalom. Maysa nga adipen nga agwanwanawan ti timmangad ket nakitana ti adu a tattao a sumungsungad idiay kalsada iti turod iti laudenna.
35 And Jonadab said to the king, Behold, the king's sons have come; as thy servant said, so it is.
Ket kinuna ni Jonadab iti ari, “Kitaem, sumungsungaden dagiti prinsipe. Kas kinuna ti adipenmo.”
36 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice, and wept. And the king also and all his servants wept very much.
Ket napasamak apaman a nalpas a nagsao ti adipen a nakasangpet dagiti prinsipe ken impigsada dagiti timekda sada nasangit. Ket nagsangit met ti ari ken dagiti adipenna iti nasaem.
37 But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai the son of Ammihur, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.
Ngem naglibas ni Absalom ket napan kenni Talmai nga anak ni Ammihur, ti ari ti Gesur. Inaldaw a dinung-awan ni David ti putotna.
38 So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.
Isu a naglibas ni Absalom ket napan iti Gesur, iti lugar a nagnaedanna iti tallo a tawen.
39 And the soul of king David longed to go forth to Absalom, for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
Kalikaguman ti panunot ni ari David a rummuar tapno mapanna kitaen ni Absalom, ta naliw-liwa isunan maipapan kenni Amnon ken iti ipapatayna.
