2 Kings 16
1 In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.
レマリヤの子ペカの十七年にユダの王ヨタムの子アハズ王となれり
2 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah his God, like David his father.
アハズは王となれる時二十歳にしてエルサレムにおいて十六年世を治めたりしがその神ヱホバの善と見たまふ事をその父ダビデのごとくは行はざりき
3 But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel. Yes, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom Jehovah cast out from before the sons of Israel.
彼はイスラエルの王等の道にあゆみまたその子に火の中を通らしめたり是はヱホバがイスラエルの子孫の前より逐はらひたまひし異邦人のおこなふところの憎むべき事にしたがへるなり
4 And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
彼は崇邱の上丘の上一切の靑木の下に犠牲をささげ香をたけり
5 Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war, and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.
この頃スリアの王レヂンおよびレマリヤの子なるイスラエルの王ペカ、エルサレムにせめのぼりてアハズを圍みけるが勝ことを得ざりき
6 At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath. And the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there to this day.
この時にあたりてスリアの王レヂン復エラテをスリアに歸せしめユダヤ人をエラテより逐いだせり而してスリア人エラテにきたりて其處に住み今日にいたる
7 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son. Come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.
是においてアハズ使者をアツスリヤの王テグラテピレセルにつかはして言しめけるは我は汝の臣僕汝の子なりスリアの王とイスラエルの王と我に攻かかりをれば請ふ上りきたりてかれらの手より我を救ひいだしたまへと
8 And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.
アハズすなはちヱホバの家と王の家の庫とにあるところの銀と金をとりこれを禮物としてアツスリヤの王におくりしかば
9 And the king of Assyria hearkened to him. And the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and killed Rezin.
アツスリヤの王かれの請を容たりアツスリヤの王すなはちダマスコに攻のぼりて之をとりその民をキルに擄うつしまたレヂンを殺せり
10 And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and saw the altar that was at Damascus. And king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the form of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship of it.
かくてアハズはアツスリヤの王テグラテピレセルに會んとてダマスコにゆきけるがダマスコにおいて一箇の祭壇を見たればアスス王その祭壇の工作にしたがひて委くこれが圖と式樣を制へて祭司ウリヤにこれをおくれり
11 And Urijah the priest built an altar. According to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus, so Urijah the priest made it until the coming of king Ahaz from Damascus.
是において祭司ウリヤはアハズ王がダマスコよりおくりたる所にてらして一箇の祭壇をつくりアハズ王がダマスコより來るまでにこれを作りおけり
12 And when the king came from Damascus, the king saw the altar. And the king drew near to the altar, and offered thereon.
茲に王ダマスコより歸りてその祭壇を見壇にちかよりてこれに上り
13 And he burnt his burnt offering and his meal offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the altar.
壇の上に燔祭と素祭を焚き灌祭をそそぎ酬恩祭の血を灑げり
14 And the brazen altar, which was before Jehovah, he brought from the forefront of the house, from between his altar and the house of Jehovah, and put it on the north side of his altar.
彼またヱホバの前なる銅の壇を家の前より移せり即ちこれをかの新しき壇とヱホバの家の間より移してかの壇の北の方に置たり
15 And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meal offering, and the king's burnt offering, and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meal offering, and their drink offerings. And sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice. But the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire by.
而してアハズ王祭司ウリヤに命じて言ふ朝の燔祭夕の素祭および王の燔祭とその素祭ならびに國中の民の燔祭とその素祭および灌祭はこの大なる壇の上に焚べし又この上に燔祭の牲の血と犠牲の物の血をすべて灑ぐべし彼の銅の壇の事はなほ考ふるあらん
16 Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded.
祭司ウリヤすなはちアハズ王のすべて命じたるごとくに然なせり
17 And king Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the laver from off them, and took down the sea from off the brazen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stone.
またアハズ王臺の邊を削りて洗盤をその上よりうつしまた海をその下なる銅の牛の上よりおろして石の座の上に置ゑ
18 And the covered place for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king's entry outside, he turned from the house of Jehovah, because of the king of Assyria.
また家に造りたる安息日用の遊廊および王の外の入口をアツスリヤの王のためにヱホバの家の中に變じたり
19 Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
アハズのなしたるその餘の行爲はユダの王の歴代志の書にしるさるるにあらずや
20 And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
アハズその先祖等とともに寝りてダビデの邑にその先祖等とともに葬られその子ヒゼキヤこれにかはりて王となれり
