2 Kings 11
1 Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal seed.
১যিহূদাৰ ৰজা অহজিয়াৰ মাক অথলিয়াই যেতিয়া দেখিলে যে তেওঁৰ পুত্রৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ ৰাজবংশৰ সকলো সন্তানকে বধ কৰিলে।
2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons who were slain, even him and his nurse, and put them in the bedchamber. And they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
২কিন্তু সকলো ৰাজপুত্রক বধ কৰাৰ সময়ত ৰজা যিহোৰামৰ জীয়েক অর্থাৎ অহজিয়াৰ ভনীয়েক যিহোচেবাই অহজিয়াৰ পুত্র যোৱাচক ৰাজপুত্রসকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা চুৰ কৰি আনিলে। যিহোচেবাই যোৱাচক অথলিয়াৰ পৰা লুকুৱাই ৰাখিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁক ধাই মাকৰে সৈতে এটা শোৱা কোঁঠালিত ৰাখিলে। সেয়ে অথলিয়াই যোৱাচক বধ কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে।
3 And he was with her hidden in the house of Jehovah six years. And Athaliah reigned over the land.
৩যোৱাচক লৈ যিহোচেবা যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত ছবছৰ লুকাই থাকিল; সেই সময়ত যিহূদা দেশত অথলিয়াই শাসন কৰিছিল।
4 And in the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the captains over hundreds of the Carites and of the guard, and brought them to him into the house of Jehovah. And he made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of Jehovah, and showed them the king's son.
৪সপ্তম বছৰত পুৰোহিত যিহোয়াদাই দেহৰক্ষীসকলৰ শত-সেনাপতি আৰু ৰক্ষক-সেনাসকলৰ শত-সেনাপতিসকললৈ বার্তা পঠাই যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত নিজৰ ওচৰলৈ মাতি আনিলে। তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে এটি চর্ত কৰিলে। যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক এক শপত খোৱাই লৈ ৰাজকোঁৱৰ যোৱাচক আনি তেওঁলোকক দেখুৱালে।
5 And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do: a third part of you, who come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king's house;
৫তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক নির্দেশ দি ক’লে, “আপোনালোকে এই কাম কৰিব লাগিব: আপোনালোকৰ যিসকলে বিশ্রামবাৰে কাম কৰিবলৈ যাব, তেওঁলোকৰ তিনি ভাগৰ এভাগে ৰাজগৃহ পহৰা দিব।
6 and a third part shall be at the gate Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard. So shall ye keep the watch of the house, and be a barrier.
৬এক ভাগ ছুৰ দুৱাৰত থাকিব আৰু এক ভাগ ৰক্ষক-সেনাগৃহৰ পাছফালৰ দুৱাৰত থাকিব।”
7 And the two companies of you, even all who go forth on the sabbath, shall keep the watch of the house of Jehovah around the king.
৭আপোনালোকৰ অন্য দুটা দল, যিসকলে বিশ্রামবাৰে ছুটি পাব, তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত ৰজা যোৱাচক পহৰা দিব।
8 And ye shall encompass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand. And he who comes within the ranks, let him be slain. And be ye with the king when he goes out, and when he comes in.
৮আপোনালোক প্ৰতিজনে হাতত অস্ত্ৰ লৈ ৰজাক চাৰিওফালে ঘেৰি ৰাখিব। আপোনালোকৰ শাৰীৰ মাজত যেয়ে সোমাই আহিব তেওঁকে বধ কৰা হওঁক; ৰজা বাহিৰ বা ভিতৰ য’লৈকে যাওঁক, আপোনালোক তেওঁৰ সঙ্গে সঙ্গে থাকিব।
9 And the captains over hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. And every man took his men, those who were to come in on the sabbath, with those who were to go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
৯সেইদৰেই পুৰোহিত যিহোয়াদাই যিদৰে নির্দেশ দিলে, শত-সেনাপতিসকলে সেই সকলোকে কৰিলে। তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজৰ নিজৰ লোকসকলক অর্থাৎ যিসকলে বিশ্ৰাম বাৰে কাম কৰিবলৈ আহিছিল আৰু যিসকলে কামৰ পৰা ছুটি কৰিছিল, সেই সকলোকে লৈ যিহোয়াদা পুৰোহিতৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল।
10 And the priest delivered to the captains over hundreds the spears and shields that had been king David's, which were in the house of Jehovah.
১০পুৰোহিত যিহোয়াদাই তেতিয়া ৰজা দায়ুদৰ যি সকলো যাঠি আৰু ঢাল যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত আছিল, সেইবোৰ লৈ শত-সেনাপতিসকলক দিলে।
11 And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, along by the altar and the house, by the king round about.
১১ৰক্ষক-সেনাবোৰৰ প্রত্যেকেই ৰজাৰ চাৰিওফালে হাতত নিজৰ অস্ত্র লৈ মন্দিৰৰ সোঁ ফালৰ পৰা বাওঁ ফাললৈকে যজ্ঞবেদীৰ কাষে কাষে থিয় হৈ থাকিল।
12 Then he brought out the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony. And they made him king, and anointed him. And they clapped their hands, and said, Live, O king.
১২তাৰ পাছত যিহোয়াদাই ৰাজকোঁৱৰ যোৱাচক বাহিৰলৈ উলিয়াই আনি তেওঁৰ মূৰত মুকুট পিন্ধাই হাতত ব্যৱস্থা-পুস্তকখন দিলে। তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক ৰাজপদত অভিষেক কৰিলে। তাতে সকলোৱে হাত তালি দি সমস্বৰে ক’লে, “মহাৰাজ চিৰজীৱি হওঁক।”
13 And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the house of Jehovah.
১৩ৰক্ষক-সেনা আৰু লোকসকলৰ কোলাহল শুনি মহাৰাণী অথলিয়া যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ লোক সকলৰ কাষলৈ আহিল।
14 And she looked, and, behold, the king stood by the pillar, as the manner was, and the captains and the trumpets by the king. And all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and cried, Treason! treason!
১৪তেওঁ চাই দেখিলে যে, তাত ৰীতি অনুসাৰে ৰজা যোৱাচ স্তম্ভটোৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ আছে। শত-সেনাপতিসকল আৰু শিঙা বজোৱাসকল ৰজাৰ কাষত ঘেৰি আছে; সকলো দেশবাসীয়ে আনন্দ কৰিছে আৰু শিঙা বজাইছে। তেতিয়া ৰাণী অথলিয়াই নিজৰ কাপোৰ ফালি চিঞৰিলে, “ৰাজদ্ৰোহী! ৰাজদ্ৰোহী!”
15 And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, Have her forth between the ranks, and kill with the sword the man who follows her. For the priest said, Let her not be slain in the house of Jehovah.
১৫পুৰোহিত যিহোয়াদাই তেতিয়া যিসকলৰ ওপৰত সেনাদলৰ ভাৰ আছিল, সেই শত-সেনাপতিসকলক নির্দেশ দিলে, “তেওঁক শাৰীবোৰৰ মাজলৈ বাহিৰলৈ লৈ আনা। তেওঁৰ সমর্থক যিকোনো লোক তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে বাহিৰলৈ আহিব, তেওঁক তৰোৱালেৰে বধ কৰিব।” কিয়নো পুৰোহিতে কৈছিল, “তেওঁক যেন যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ ভিতৰত বধ কৰা নহয়।”
16 So they made way for her. And she went by the way of the horses' entry to the king's house, and there was she slain.
১৬সেয়ে অথলিয়াক তেওঁলোকে বাট এৰি দিলে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ ঘোঁৰা সোমোৱা ফালৰ দুৱাৰেদি ৰাজগৃহলৈ গৈছিল আৰু তাতে তেওঁক বধ কৰা হ’ল।
17 And Jehoiada made a covenant between Jehovah and the king and the people, that they should be Jehovah's people; between the king also and the people.
১৭তাৰ পাছত যিহোয়াদাই যিহোৱা, ৰজা যোৱাচ আৰু প্রজাসকলৰ মাজত এক চুক্তি কৰিলে। এই চুক্তিত কোৱা হ’ল যে, ৰজা আৰু প্রজা উভয়েই যিহোৱাৰ লোক হৈ চলিব। তেওঁ ৰজা আৰু প্রজা পৰস্পৰৰ মাজতো এক চুক্তি কৰিলে।
18 And all the people of the land went to the house of Baal, and broke it down. They broke in pieces his altars and his images thoroughly, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of Jehovah.
১৮তাৰ পাছত দেশৰ সকলো লোকে একেলগে বাল দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰলৈ গৈ তাক ভাঙি পেলালে; সেই ঠাইৰ বেদী আৰু মূৰ্ত্তিবোৰ ভাঙি খণ্ড-বিখণ্ড কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে বাল দেৱতাৰ পুৰোহিত মত্তনকো বেদীবোৰৰ সন্মুখত বধ কৰিলে। পাছত পুৰোহিত যিহোয়াদাই যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত ৰক্ষক-সেনাসকলৰ নিযুক্ত কৰিলে।
19 And he took the captains over hundreds, and the Carites, and the guard, and all the people of the land, and they brought down the king from the house of Jehovah, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
১৯তাৰ পাছত যিহোয়াদাই শত-সেনাপতি, দেহৰক্ষী, ৰক্ষক-সেনাসকল আৰু দেশৰ সকলো লোকক লগত লৈ যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ পৰা ৰজা যোৱচক উলিয়াই আনিলে। তেওঁলোকে ৰক্ষক-সেনাসকলৰ দুৱাৰৰ বাটেদি ৰাজগৃহলৈ আহিল সোমাই আহিল। এইদৰে যোৱাচ ৰাজ সিংহাসনত বহিল।
20 So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. And they had slain Athaliah with the sword at the king's house.
২০দেশৰ সকলো প্রজাই আনন্দ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু নগৰখনত শান্তি ঘূৰি আহিল। অথলিয়াক ৰাজগৃহত তৰোৱালেৰে বধ কৰাৰ কাৰণে দেশৰ সকলো মানুহে আনন্দ কৰিলে।
21 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign.
২১যোৱাচে যেতিয়া ৰাজত্ব আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ বয়স সাত বছৰ আছিল।
