< 2 Corinthians 5 >

1 For we know that if the earthly house of our tent were destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)

2 For also in this we groan, longing to clothe ourselves with our habitation from heaven,

Male atûn hin invâna ei omna rang in renga han mi mukhû rang ôi tatakin ei inrum tatak ngâi ani;

3 if indeed also having put it on we will not be found naked.

Maha ei insilin chu takpum boiin om no uh.

4 For also those who are in the tent groan, being burdened, not in that we want to undress, but to clothe ourselves, so that the mortal may be swallowed up by the life.

Hi pilchung puon-ina ei om lâihin sirdêna sikin chapin ei inrum tatak ngâi ania; hi ei pilchung takpum hih mâk ei nuom sika niloiin, aniatachu invâna in mi mukhû rang ei nuom sika ani, masikin hi thithei hi ringnân ânthûl rang ani.

5 Now he who wrought us for this same thing is God, who also gave us the pledge of the Spirit.

Hi inthûlna rang mi mintuo pepu chu Pathien ania, male eita ranga neinun a lei mintûp murdi hah khâmna anghan Ratha mi pêk zoi ani.

6 Therefore always being confident, and knowing that while at home in the body we are absent from the Lord,

Masikin zoratin hâinân kin sip tit ngâi ani. Takpum ina ei om kâr chu Pumapa ina om mak me ti ei riet.

7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Ei ringnun hih mu theia om niloiin, taksônnân kêng ei om ani.

8 And we are confident, and are pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be at home near the Lord.

Hâinân ei sipa, ei takpum in hih mâkin Pumapa ina om rang ei nuom uol ok ani.

9 Therefore also we aspire, whether at home or away from home, to be well-pleasing to him.

Neinun dadang nêkin, hi taka ei omna ina mo, khi khin mo, ama a râiminsân rang ei nuom ani.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment-seat of the Christ, so that each man may receive back about the things that he did through the body, whether good or bad.

Khrista han ei roijêk rangin amakunga ei rêngin ei lân lang pak rang ani. Ei rammuol ringnuna ei sintho ngei murdi asa mo, asie mo, ei man rang rohoingei dungjûiin ei man rang ani.

11 Having seen therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men. But we have been manifested to God, and I hope also to have been manifested in your consciences.

Pumapa china chang kin rieta, male midangngei khom kin methêm ngâi ania, Pathien'n mi riet minthâr let, male nangnin khom nin mulungrîlngeia mi nin riet minthâr tiin ka sabei.

12 For we are not commending ourselves again to you, but giving you an opportunity of boasting about us, so that ye may have for those who boast in appearance and not in heart.

Nin kôm keini nanâkin rilminsana ranga kin pût nimaka; manêk han, nunchan tieng niloia achungtieng ririema ânsong ngâi ngei hah nin thuon theina rangin keini mi nin songna rang abi nangni pêk rang kin pût ani.

13 For whether we are beside ourselves to God, or we are of normal mind, it is for you.

Kin mo tatak mini? Maha Pathien jâra ani. Aninônchu kin vâr mini? Hanchu maha nangni jâra ani.

14 For the love of Christ holds us together, having judge this, that if one died for all, then all died.

Khrista lungkhamna han mi jêk ani, mi murdi ta rangin mi inkhat a thia, maha aomtie chu an rêngin a thina han an inlopui sa ani tiin atûn chu kin riet minthâr zoi.

15 And he died for all so that those who live would no longer live to themselves, but to him who died for them, and was raised.

Ama chu mi murdi rangin a thia, masikin a ring ngei han anni ta ranga ring ni khâi loiin, an ta ranga thia ân thoinôkpu ta rang vaia ring kêng an ni zoi ani.

16 So that henceforth we know no man according to flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we know him no longer.

Hanchu, atûn pêna chu munisi vârnân tute jêk khâi noni ung. Munisi vârnân moton han Khrista hah lei jêk ta khom unglang, atûn pêna chu jêk khâi noning ung.

17 So then if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

Tukhom Khrista hah a zomin chu mi thar ani zoia; amuruo chu ahek zoia; athar kêng a hongni zoi.

18 And all things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and who gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.

Ma ngei murdi hah ei râlinchangna renga Khrista jâra a malngei mi minchanga, midangngei khom a malngei minchang theina sin mi pêkpu Pathien han a sin ani.

19 How that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Kin thurchi misîr chu mahi ani, Pathien'n khrista jârin munisingei murdi a ruolngeiin a minchang zoi. Pathien'n an sietnangei hah mindon pe ngei khâi loiin, male kho angin mo a ruolngeiin a sin ngei chang thurchi hah, keini mi pêk ani zoi.

20 We are therefore, ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were calling through us. We plead on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.

Hanchu, mahin keini hih, Pathien'n nangni a ngêna hah kin chunga a bâng anghan, Khrista ranga chong kin ni. Khrista ruthûlin nangni kin ngên: Pathien râlngei nin nina renga a ruolngeiin nangni thûl rese!

21 For the man who knew no sin was made sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Khrista han sietna dôn mak, aniatachu ama leh inzoma Pathien dikna hah ei chang sa theina rangin Pathien'n ei sietna hah a minchang sa ani.
