2 Corinthians 10
1 Now I Paul myself entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who indeed am lowly in presence among you, but am bold toward you when absent.

2 But I pray not to be bold when present with the confidence by which I consider to be valiant toward some who consider us as walking according to flesh.
mama praarthaniiyamida. m vaya. m yai. h "saariirikaacaari. no manyaamahe taan prati yaa. m pragalbhataa. m prakaa"sayitu. m ni"scinomi saa pragalbhataa samaagatena mayaacaritavyaa na bhavatu|
3 For though walking in flesh, we do not war according to flesh.
yata. h "sariire caranto. api vaya. m "saariirika. m yuddha. m na kurmma. h|
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for the demolition of strongholds,
asmaaka. m yuddhaastraa. ni ca na "saariirikaani kintvii"svare. na durgabha njanaaya prabalaani bhavanti,
5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought captive into the obedience of the Christ,
tai"sca vaya. m vitarkaan ii"svariiyatattvaj naanasya pratibandhikaa. m sarvvaa. m cittasamunnati nca nipaatayaama. h sarvvasa"nkalpa nca bandina. m k. rtvaa khrii. s.tasyaaj naagraahi. na. m kurmma. h,
6 and having in readiness to avenge every disobedience, whenever your obedience is fulfilled.
yu. smaakam aaj naagraahitve siddhe sati sarvvasyaaj naala"nghanasya pratiikaara. m karttum udyataa aasmahe ca|
7 Do ye look at things according to appearance. If any man has convinced himself to be of Christ, let him consider this again of himself, that, as he is of Christ, so also are we of Christ.
yad d. r.s. tigocara. m tad yu. smaabhi rd. r"syataa. m| aha. m khrii. s.tasya loka iti svamanasi yena vij naayate sa yathaa khrii. s.tasya bhavati vayam api tathaa khrii. s.tasya bhavaama iti punarvivicya tena budhyataa. m|
8 For even if I also should boast somewhat more abundantly about our authority (which the Lord gave us for building up and not for tearing you down), I will not be shamed,
yu. smaaka. m nipaataaya tannahi kintu ni. s.thaayai prabhunaa datta. m yadasmaaka. m saamarthya. m tena yadyapi ki ncid adhika. m "slaaghe tathaapi tasmaanna trapi. sye|
9 so that I would not seem as if to terrify you by the letters.
aha. m patrai ryu. smaan traasayaami yu. smaabhiretanna manyataa. m|
10 Because, The letters, he says, are indeed weighty and powerful, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is disdained.
tasya patraa. ni gurutaraa. ni prabalaani ca bhavanti kintu tasya "saariirasaak. saatkaaro durbbala aalaapa"sca tucchaniiya iti kai"scid ucyate|
11 Let such a man think this, that such kind we are in word by letters when absent, we are also such kind when present in the work.
kintu parok. se patrai rbhaa. samaa. naa vaya. m yaad. r"saa. h prakaa"saamahe pratyak. se karmma kurvvanto. api taad. r"saa eva prakaa"si. syaamahe tat taad. r"sena vaacaalena j naayataa. m|
12 For we dare not classify or compare ourselves to some of those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves to themselves, do not understand.
svapra"sa. msakaanaa. m ke. saa ncinmadhye svaan ga. nayitu. m tai. h svaan upamaatu. m vaa vaya. m pragalbhaa na bhavaama. h, yataste svaparimaa. nena svaan parimimate svai"sca svaan upamibhate tasmaat nirbbodhaa bhavanti ca|
13 But we will not boast in things immeasurable, but according to the measure of the standard that God apportioned to us, of a measure to reach even as far as you.
vayam aparimitena na "slaaghi. syaamahe kintvii"svare. na svarajjvaa yu. smadde"sagaami yat parimaa. nam asmadartha. m niruupita. m tenaiva "slaaghi. syaamahe|
14 For it is not as not reaching for you. We overextend ourselves. For we even reached as far as you in the good news of the Christ,
yu. smaaka. m de"so. asmaabhiragantavyastasmaad vaya. m svasiimaam ulla"nghaamahe tannahi yata. h khrii. s.tasya susa. mvaadenaapare. saa. m praag vayameva yu. smaan praaptavanta. h|
15 not boasting in things immeasurable, in other men's labors, but having hope of your faith growing in you to be enlarged according to our measure for abundance,
vaya. m svasiimaam ulla"nghya parak. setre. na "slaaghaamahe tannahi, ki nca yu. smaaka. m vi"svaase v. rddhi. m gate yu. smadde"se. asmaaka. m siimaa yu. smaabhirdiirgha. m vistaarayi. syate,
16 in order to preach the good news beyond you, not to boast in another measure, in things prepared.
tena vaya. m yu. smaaka. m pa"scimadiksthe. su sthaane. su susa. mvaada. m gho. sayi. syaama. h, ittha. m parasiimaayaa. m pare. na yat pari. sk. rta. m tena na "slaaghi. syaamahe|
17 But he who boasts should boast in the Lord.
ya. h ka"scit "slaaghamaana. h syaat "slaaghataa. m prabhunaa sa hi|
18 For he who commends himself, that man is not approved, but whom the Lord commends.
svena ya. h pra"sa. msyate sa pariik. sito nahi kintu prabhunaa ya. h pra"sa. msyate sa eva pariik. sita. h|
