2 Chronicles 8
1 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of Jehovah, and his own house,
सोलोमनले परमप्रभुको मन्दिर र आफ्नो राजमहल निर्माण गरेका बिस वर्षको समयको अन्तमा यस्तो भयो,
2 that the cities which Huram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the sons of Israel to dwell there.
हीरामले सोलोमनलाई दिएका सहरहरूका तिनले पुनर्निर्माण गरे र तिनमा इस्राएलका मानिहरूलाई तिनले बसाले ।
3 And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah, and prevailed against it.
सोलोमनले हमातसोबालाई आक्रमण गरे र त्यसलाई हराए ।
4 And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store-cities, which he built in Hamath.
तिनले उजाड-स्थानमा तदमोरको पुनर्निर्माण गरे र सबै भण्डारणका सहर जसलाई तिनले हमातमा बनाए ।
5 Also he built Beth-horon the upper, and Beth-horon the lower, fortified cities, with walls, gates, and bars,
तिनले माथिल्लो बेथ होरोन र तल्लो बेथ होरोनलाई पर्खालहरू, ढोकाहरू र बारहरू लगाएर किल्लाबन्दी गरे ।
6 and Baalath, and all the store-cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots, and the cities for his horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build for his pleasure in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
तिनले बालात आफूसँग भएका भण्डारणका सबै सहर र आफ्ना रथहरू सबै सहर र घोडाचडीहरूका निम्ति सहरहरू र यरूशलेममा, लेबनानमा र आफ्ना सारा राज्यमा सारा देशभरि आफूले जे इच्छा गरे त्यो तिनले बनाए ।
7 As for all the people who were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, that were not of Israel,
हित्ती, एमोरी, परिज्जी, हिव्वी र यबूसीहरूका सबै बाँकी रहेकाहरू, जो इस्राएलका थिएनन्,
8 of their sons who were left after them in the land whom the sons of Israel did not consumed, of them Solomon raised a levy of bondservants to this day.
तिनीहरूपछि देशमा छोडिएका तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरू, जसलाई इस्राएलीहरूले नाश गरेका थिएनन्—सोलोमनले तिनीहरूलाई ज्यालाबिनाका श्रमिक बनाए, जसमा तिनीहरू आजको दिनसम्मै रहेका छन् ।
9 But Solomon made no servants of the sons of Israel for his work, but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and rulers of his chariots and of his horsemen.
तापनि सोलोमनले इस्राएलका मानिसलाई ज्यालाबिनाका श्रमिक बनाएनन् । बरु, तिनीहरू तिनका सिपाहीहरू, कमाण्डरहरू, अधिकारीहरू, अनि सारथि र घोडचडीका कमाण्डरहरू भए ।
10 And these were the chief officers of king Solomon, even two hundred and fifty that bore rule over the people.
सोलोमनका निरीक्षकहरूका मुख्य अधिकारीहरू यिनैमध्येबाट भए जो २५० जना थिए, जसले काम गर्नेहरूको निरीक्षण गरे ।
11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David to the house that he had built for her. For he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy in which the ark of Jehovah has come.
सोलोमनले फारोकी छोरीलाई दाऊदको सहरबाट तिनको निम्ति बनाएको महलमा ल्याए, किनकि तिनले भने, “मेरी पत्नी इस्राएलका राजा दाऊदको महलमा बस्नेछैनन्, किनभने परमप्रभुको सन्दूक ल्याइएका ठाउँहरू पवित्र छन् ।”
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah, which he had built before the porch,
तब सोलोमनले दलानको अगाडिपट्टि आफूले बनाएको वेदीमा परमप्रभुको निम्ति होमबलिहरू चढाए ।
13 even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
दिन-दिनको सूचीअनुसार तिनले बलिदानहरू चढाए । मोशाको आज्ञामा भएका निर्देशनबमोजिम तिनले शबाथ दिन, औंसी र वर्षेनी तिन पल्ट चढाउने चाडहरूः अखमिरी रोटीको चाड, साताहरूको चाड र छाप्रो-वासको चाडमा तोकिएबमिजिम तिनले चढाए ।
14 And he appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the divisions of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their offices, to praise, and to minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required, also the porters by their divisions at every gate. For so David the man of God had commanded.
आफ्ना पिता दाऊदको विधिहरू पालन गर्ने कुरामा सोलोमनले प्रतिदिनको लागि आवश्यक परेअनुसार पुजारीका दलहरूलाई आआफ्ना काममा र लेवीहरूलाई चाहिं परमेश्वरको स्तुति गर्ने र पुजारीहरूका अगि सेवा गर्ने तिनीहरूका दर्जामा नियुक्त गरे । हरेक ढोकामा तिनले ढोकाका रक्षकहरू आफ्ना दलअनुसार रहनलाई नियुक्त गरे, किनकि परमेश्वरका मानिस दाऊदले यसरी नै आज्ञा दिएका थिए ।
15 And they did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरूलाई कुनै पनि विषयमा वा अनि भण्डारण कोठाहरूका विषयमा राजाले दिएका आज्ञाबाट यी मानिसहरू तर्किएनन् ।
16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared from the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah, and until it was finished. So the house of Jehovah was completed.
परमप्रभुका मन्दिरको जग बसालेदेखि त्यो पूरा नभएसम्म सोलोमनले आज्ञा गरेका सबै काम सम्पन्न भएको थियो । परमप्रभुको मन्दिर बनाउने काम सकियो ।
17 Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth, on the seashore in the land of Edom.
त्यसपछि सोलोमन एदोम देशको किनारमा भएको एस्योन-गेबेर र एलातमा गए ।
18 And Huram sent ships to him by the hands of his servants, and servants who had knowledge of the sea. And they came with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and fetched from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
अनि हीरामले समुद्रको बारेमा जानकारी भएका मानिसहरूसहितका आफ्ना अधिकारीहरूका कमाण्डमा रहेका रहेका पानी जहाजहरू पठाइदिए र सोलोमनका सेवकहरूका साथमा तिनीहरू ओपीरमा गए र तिनीहरूले त्यहाँबाट सोह्र टन सुन ल्याए र त्यो सोलोमन राजालाई दिए ।
