2 Chronicles 35
1 And Josiah kept a Passover to Jehovah in Jerusalem. And they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଶୀୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କଲେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରଥମ ମାସର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶ ଦିନରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ବଧ କଲେ।
2 And he set the priests in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of Jehovah.
ପୁଣି, ସେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହସ ଦେଲେ।
3 And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built. There shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders. Now serve Jehovah your God, and his people Israel.
ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଲେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ନିର୍ମିତ ଗୃହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ରଖ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରେ ଆଉ ଭାର ରହିବ ନାହିଁ; ଏବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସେବା କର।
4 And prepare yourselves after your fathers' houses by your divisions, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.
ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଲିଖନାନୁସାରେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଲିଖନାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶାନୁସାରେ ପାଳି ଅନୁକ୍ରମେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର।
5 And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brothers the sons of the people, and the portion of a fathers' house of the Levites.
ଆଉ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣର ପିତୃବଂଶୀୟ ବିଭାଗାନୁସାରେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପିତୃବଂଶ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଏକ ଅଂଶ ହେଉ।
6 And kill the Passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of Jehovah by Moses.
ପୁଣି, ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ବଧ କର ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର କର ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ (ଦତ୍ତ) ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରମାଣେ କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୁଅ।”
7 And Josiah gave to the sons of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all of them for the Passover offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and also three thousand bullocks; these were of the king's substance.
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯୋଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ କେବଳ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତିରିଶ ହଜାର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମେଷଶାବକ ଓ ଛାଗବତ୍ସ ଓ ତିନି ହଜାର ବୃଷ ଦେଲେ; ଏହିସବୁ ରାଜସମ୍ପତ୍ତିରୁ ଦିଆଗଲା।
8 And his rulers gave for a freewill offering to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, the rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the Passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.
ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାଦତ୍ତ ଉପହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ, ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କଲେ। ହିଲ୍କୀୟ ଓ ଜିଖରୀୟ ଓ ଯିହୀୟେଲ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଏହି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷମାନେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଛଅ ଶହ ମେଷାଦିର ବତ୍ସ ଓ ତିନି ଶହ ବୃଷ ଦେଲେ।
9 Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.
ମଧ୍ୟ କୋନାନୀୟ ଓ ଶମୟୀୟ ଓ ନଥନେଲ ନାମକ ତାହାର ଭାଇମାନେ, ଆଉ ହଶବୀୟ ଓ ଯିୟୀୟେଲ୍ ଓ ଯୋଷାବଦ୍, ଏହି ଲେବୀୟ ପ୍ରଧାନମାନେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାଞ୍ଚ ସହସ୍ର ମେଷାଦିର ବତ୍ସ ଓ ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ବୃଷ ଦେଲେ।
10 So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites by their divisions, according to the king's commandment.
ଏହିରୂପେ କର୍ମର ଆୟୋଜନ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ରାଜାଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପାଳି ଅନୁସାରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।
11 And they killed the Passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood by their hand, and the Levites skinned them.
ପୁଣି, ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳିସବୁ ବଧ କରାଯାʼନ୍ତେ, ଯାଜକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ରକ୍ତ ନେଇ ସେଚନ କଲେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସେସବୁର ଚର୍ମ କାଢ଼ିଲେ।
12 And they removed the burnt offerings that they might give them according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of the sons of the people, to offer to Jehovah as it is written in the book of Moses. And so they did with the oxen.
ଆଉ, ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକର ଲିଖନାନୁସାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗକରଣାର୍ଥେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃବଂଶୀୟ ବିଭାଗାନୁସାରେ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ହୋମବଳି ଉଠାଇ ନେଲେ, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ବୃଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହିପରି କଲେ।
13 And they roasted the Passover with fire according to the ordinance. And the holy offerings they boiled in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the sons of the people.
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ବିଧାନାନୁସାରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ବଳି ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ପାକ କଲେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପବିତ୍ର ବଳି ହାଣ୍ଡିରେ ଓ ହଣ୍ଡାରେ ଓ କରେଇରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ନିକଟକୁ ତାହାସବୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ନେଇ ପରିବେଷଣ କଲେ।
14 And afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busy in offering the burnt offerings and the fat until night. Therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ; କାରଣ ହାରୋଣ ସନ୍ତାନ-ଯାଜକମାନେ ହୋମବଳି ଓ ମେଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାରେ ରାତ୍ରି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ଥିଲେ; ଏହେତୁ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ହାରୋଣ-ସନ୍ତାନ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer. And the porters were at every gate. They did not need to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.
ପୁଣି, ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଓ ଆସଫର ଓ ହେମନର ଓ ରାଜଦର୍ଶକ ଯିଦୂଥୂନ୍ର ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ, ଆସଫ-ସନ୍ତାନ ଗାୟକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଥିଲେ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳମାନେ ଥିଲେ; ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯିବାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଲେବୀୟ ଭାଇମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
16 So all the service of Jehovah was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of Jehovah, according to the commandment of king Josiah.
ଏହିରୂପେ ଯୋଶୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ପାଳନାର୍ଥେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିରେ ହୋମବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗକରଣାର୍ଥେ ସେହି ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସେବାର୍ଥକ ସକଳର ଆୟୋଜନ ହେଲା।
17 And the sons of Israel who were present kept the Passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
ଏଣୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ସାତ ଦିନ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ଓ ତାଡ଼ିଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟିର ପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କଲେ।
18 And there was no Passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet. Neither did any of the kings of Israel keep such a Passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
ପୁଣି, ଶାମୁୟେଲ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର ଦିନଠାରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏପ୍ରକାର ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ପ୍ରତିପାଳିତ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲା; କିଅବା ଯୋଶୀୟ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ, ପୁଣି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମଗ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଯେପରି ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କଲେ, ସେପରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର କୌଣସି ରାଜା କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି।
19 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah this Passover was kept.
ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଅଠର ବର୍ଷରେ ଏହି ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ପ୍ରତିପାଳିତ ହେଲା।
20 After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight against Carchemish by the Euphrates, and Josiah went out against him.
ଏହିସବୁର ଉତ୍ତାରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯୋଶୀୟ ମନ୍ଦିର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ସାରିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ମିସରର ରାଜା ନଖୋ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ କର୍କମୀଶ୍ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲା; ତହୁଁ ଯୋଶୀୟ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗଲେ;
21 But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house with which I have war, and God has commanded me to make haste. Cease thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he not destroy thee.
ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଦୂତ ପଠାଇ କହିଲା, “ହେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜନ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମୋହର କʼଣ କରିବାର ଅଛି? ମୁଁ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ବଂଶ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମୋହର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଅଛି, ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସିଅଛି; ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଶୀଘ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୋତେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ମୋହର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନାଶ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନିରସ୍ତ ହୁଅ;”
22 Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself that he might fight with him. And he did not hearken to the words of Neco from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
ତଥାପି ଯୋଶୀୟ ତାହାଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହେବାକୁ ସମ୍ମତ ନୋହିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଛଦ୍ମବେଶ ଧାରଣ କଲେ, ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମୁଖନିର୍ଗତ ନଖୋର ବାକ୍ୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ ନ କରି ମଗିଦ୍ଦୋ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।
23 And the archers shot at king Josiah. And the king said to his servants, Remove me, for I am severely wounded.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଧନୁର୍ଦ୍ଧରମାନେ ଯୋଶୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତୀର ମାରିଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ରାଜା ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୋତେ ନେଇଯାଅ, ମୁଁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆହତ ହୋଇଅଛି।”
24 So his servants took him out of the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died, and was buried in the sepulchers of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.
ତହୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନେ ସେହି ରଥରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ତାଙ୍କର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ରଥରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ମଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଲୋକଙ୍କର କବରରେ କବର ପାଇଲେ। ଏଥିରେ ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ସମଗ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଶୋକ କଲେ।
25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah. And all the singing men and singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day. And they made them an ordinance in Israel, and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
ପୁଣି, ଯିରିମୀୟ ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ବିଳାପ କଲେ; ଆଉ ଗାୟକ ଓ ଗାୟିକା ସମସ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବିଳାପରେ ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରନ୍ତି; ଲୋକମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହା ଏକ ପାଳନୀୟ ବିଧି କଲେ; ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ତାହା ବିଳାପ-ସଂହିତାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
26 Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of Jehovah,
ଏହି ଯୋଶୀୟଙ୍କର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଲିଖନାନୁଯାୟୀ ତାଙ୍କର ସୁକର୍ମ
27 and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଆଦ୍ୟନ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାସକଳ, ଦେଖ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା-ରାଜାଗଣର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି।
