1 Chronicles 9

1 So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies. And, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. And Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their transgression.

१इस्राएलाच्या सर्व लोकांची नोंद वंशावळीप्रमाणे केलेली आहे. इस्राएलाच्या राजाच्या पुस्तकात ती लिहिलेली आहे. त्यांच्या पापामुळे यहूदाच्या लोकांस बाबेल येथे कैद करून नेण्यात आले.

2 Now the first inhabitants who dwelt in their possessions in their cities were Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

२त्यापैकी जे सगळ्यात आधी आपल्या, नगरात येऊन राहिले ते म्हणजे इस्राएल लोक याजक, लेवी आणि मंदिरातील कामकरी वर्ग.

3 And in Jerusalem dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh:

३यरूशलेमामध्ये राहणाऱ्या यहूदा, बन्यामीन, एफ्राईम आणि मनश्शे घराण्यातील लोक राहत होते.

4 Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the sons of Perez the son of Judah.

४ऊथय हा अम्मीहूदचा पुत्र. अम्मीहूद हा अम्रीचा पुत्र. अम्री इम्रीचा पुत्र. इम्री बानीचा पुत्र. बानी पेरेसच्या वंशजांपैकी. पेरेस हा यहूदाचा पुत्र.

5 And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

५यरूशलेमामध्ये राहणारे शिलोनी लोक असे, ज्येष्ठ पुत्र असाया आणि त्याचे पुत्र.

6 And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers, six hundred and ninety.

६यरूशलेममधील जेरह चे वंशज म्हणजे यऊवेल आणि त्याचे एकंदर सहाशे नव्वद भाऊबंद.

7 And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,

७बन्यामीन घराण्यातील लोक: सल्लू हा मशुल्लामचा पुत्र. मशुल्लाम होदव्याचा पुत्र. होदवा हस्सनुवाचा पुत्र.

8 and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah,

८इबनया हा यरोहामाचा पुत्र. एला उज्जीचा पुत्र. उज्जी मिख्रीचा पुत्र. मशुल्लाम शफाट्याचा पुत्र. शफाट्या रगुवेलचा पुत्र रगुवेल इबनीया याचा पुत्र.

9 and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these men were heads of fathers by their fathers' houses.

९त्याचे नातेवाइक वंशावळीच्या यादीत लिहिले ते एकंदर नऊशें छपन्न होते. हे सर्व आपापल्या घराण्यांचे प्रमुख होते.

10 And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jachin,

१०यरूशलेममधील याजक यदया, यहोयारीब, याखीन, अजऱ्या.

11 and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God,

११अजऱ्या हा हिल्कीयाचा पुत्र. हिल्कीया मशुल्लामचा पुत्र. मशुल्लाम सादोकाचा. सादोक मरायोथचा आणि मरायोथ अहीटूबचा पुत्र. अहीटूब हा देवाच्या मंदिरावरील प्रमुख अधिकारी होता.

12 and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer,

१२यरोहामाचा पुत्र अदाया होता. यहोराम हा पशहूरचा पुत्र. पशहूर मल्कीयाचा, आणि अदीएलचा पुत्र मसय. अदीएल यहजेराचा पुत्र, यहजेरा मशुल्लामचा पुत्र, मशुल्लेम मशिल्लेमीथचा, मशिल्लेमीथ इम्मेराचा पुत्र.

13 and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

१३असे एकंदर एक हजार सातशे साठ याजक होते. ते आपापल्या घराण्यांचे मुख्य होते. देवाच्या मंदिरातील सेवेच्या कामात फार प्रवीण होते.

14 And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari,

१४यरूशलेममधील लेवी घराण्यातले लोक हश्शूबचा पुत्र शमाया. हश्शूब अज्रीकामचा पुत्र. अज्रीकाम हशब्याचा पुत्र. हशब्या हा मरारीच्या वंशातला.

15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,

१५याखेरीज बकूबकर, हेरेश, गालाल आणि मतन्या हे ही यरूशलेमामध्ये राहत होते. मत्तन्या मीखाचा पुत्र. मीखा जिख्रीचा पुत्र. जिख्री आसाफचा पुत्र.

16 and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

१६ओबद्या शमाया याचा पुत्र. शमाया गालालचा पुत्र. गालाल यदूथूनचा पुत्र. याखेरीज आसा याचा पुत्र बरेख्या हाही तेथे राहत होता. आसा एलकानाचा पुत्र. हा नटोफाथी लोकांच्या जवळच्या छोट्या गावांमध्ये राहत होता.

17 And the porters: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),

१७यरूशलेममधील द्वाररक्षक शल्लूम, अक्कूब, तल्मोन, अहीमान आणि त्यांचे नातलग. शल्लूम हा त्यांच्यावरचा मुख्य.

18 who formerly served in the king's gate eastward. They were the porters for the camp of the sons of Levi.

१८हे लोक आता राजाच्या पूर्वेकडच्या प्रवेशद्वारापाशी उभे असतात. हे लेवीच्या वंशातले होते.

19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. And their fathers had been over the camp of Jehovah, keepers of the entry.

१९शल्लूम हा कोरे याचा पुत्र. कोरे हा एब्यासाफचा पुत्र. एब्यासाफ कोरहचा पुत्र. शल्लूम आणि त्याचे भाऊबंद हे द्वारपाल होते. ते कोरहाच्या वंशातले होते. निवासमंडपाच्या द्वाररक्षणाचे काम त्यांच्याकडे होते. आपल्या पूर्वजांप्रमाणेच ते परमेश्वराच्या छावणीवर कामदार असून व्दारपालाचे काम पार पाडत होते.

20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and Jehovah was with him.

२०पूर्वी फिनहास द्वारपालाचा प्रमुख होता. फिनहास हा एलाजाराचा पुत्र. परमेश्वर त्याच्या बरोबर होता.

21 Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tent of meeting.

२१मशेलेम्या याचा पुत्र जखऱ्या “दर्शनमंडपाचा” द्वारपाल होता.

22 All these who were chosen to be porters in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.

२२निवासमंडपाचे रक्षण करणारे असे एकंदर दोनशे बारा निवडक द्वाररक्षक होते. आपापल्या गावांच्या वंशावळ्यांमध्ये त्यांची नावे लिहिलेली आहेत. त्यांचा विश्वासूपणा पाहून दावीद आणि शमुवेल संदेष्टा यांनी त्यांची नेमणूक केली होती

23 So they and their sons had the oversight of the gates of the house of Jehovah, even the house of the tent, by wards.

२३परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराच्या, निवासमंडपाच्या प्रवेशद्वारांवर राखण करण्याची जबाबदारी या द्वारपालांची आणि त्यांच्या वंशजांची होती.

24 On the four sides were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

२४पूर्व, पश्चिम, उत्तर, दक्षिण अशी चार दिशांना प्रवेशद्वारे होती.

25 And their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them;

२५आसपासच्या गावांमध्ये राहणारे द्वारपालांचे नातेवाईक वेळोवेळी त्यांच्या मदतीला येत. आले की सलग सात दिवस मदतीला राहत.

26 for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.

२६या सर्व द्वारपालांचे नायकत्व चार लेवी द्वारपालांकडे होते. देवाच्या मंदिरातील खोल्या आणि खजिना यांची जपणूक करण्याचे काम त्यांचे होते.

27 And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge of it was upon them, and to them pertained the opening of it morning by morning.

२७देवाच्या मंदिरावर पहारा करण्यासाठी ते रात्रभर त्यासभोवती जागे राहत. दररोज सकाळी मंदिराचे दरवाजे उघडण्याचे काम त्यांच्याकडे होते.

28 And certain of them had charge of the vessels of service, for by count were these brought in, and by count were these taken out.

२८त्यांच्यातले काहीजण मंदिरात उपयोगात येणाऱ्या पात्रांची देखभाल करत. ती पात्रे बाहेर काढताना आणि पुन्हा आत ठेवताना ते ती मोजून ठेवत असत.

29 Some of them were also appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.

२९आणि त्यांच्यांतले काहीजण सामानावर व पवित्रस्थानाच्या सर्व पीठ, द्राक्षरस, तेल, धूप, सुवासिक द्रव्य आणि साधनांची काळजी घेण्यास यावर नेमलेले होते.

30 And some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.

३०याजकांचे काही पुत्र सुवासिक द्रव्याचे मिश्रण करण्याचे काम करत असत.

31 And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.

३१लेव्यातला एक मत्तिथ्या, जो शल्लूम कोरही याचा थोरला पुत्र होता. अर्पणाच्या भाकरी तयार करण्याऱ्यांचा प्रमुख होता.

32 And some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the showbread to prepare it every sabbath.

३२कहाथीच्या वंशातील त्यांचे काही भाऊ, प्रत्येक शब्बाथवारी समक्षतेच्या भाकरी तयार करण्याऱ्यांचे प्रमुख होते.

33 And these are the singers, heads of fathers of the Levites, who dwelt in the chambers and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.

३३लेव्यांच्या घराण्यांचे प्रमुख गायक होते ते मंदिरातील खोल्यांत राहत होते. कारण जेव्हा ते कामातून मोकळे होत असत, त्यांना रात्रंदिवस आपले नेमून दिलेले काम करावे लागत असे.

34 These were heads of fathers of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men; these dwelt at Jerusalem.

३४हे लेव्यांच्या घराण्यांतील प्रमुख होते, जशी त्यांची वंशावळ्यांमध्ये नोंद केली होती. ते यरूशलेमात राहत होते.

35 And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah,

३५गिबोनाचा पिता ईयेल गिबोनात राहत होते. त्याच्या पत्नीचे नाव माका होते.

36 and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

३६ईयेल्याच्या ज्येष्ठ पुत्राचे नाव अब्दोन. सूर, कीश, बाल, नेर आणि नादाब त्याची आणखी पुत्र,

37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.

३७गदोर, अह्यो, जखऱ्या आणि मिकलोथ ही त्याचीच अपत्ये.

38 And Mikloth begot Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brothers in Jerusalem, opposite their brothers.

३८मिकलोथ शिमामाचा पिता होता. तेसुध्दा यरूशलेमेमध्ये आपल्या भाऊबंदाजवळच राहत होते.

39 And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

३९नेर हा कीशाचा पिता होता. कीश शौलाचा पिता होता. शौल योनाथान, मलकीशुवा, अबीनादाब आणि एश्बालाचा पिता होता.

40 And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal begot Micah.

४०मरीब्बाल हा योनाथानाचा पुत्र. मीखा हा मरीब्बालाचा पुत्र.

41 And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.

४१पीथोन, मेलेख आणि तरहेया हे मीखाचे पुत्र.

42 And Ahaz begot Jarah, and Jarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza,

४२आहाज याराचा पिता होता. यारा आलेमेथ, अजमावेथ आणि जिम्री यांचा पिता होता. जिम्रीन मोसाचा पिता होता.

43 and Moza begot Binea, and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

४३मोसा बिनाचा पिता होता. बिना रफायाचा पिता होता. रफाया एलासाचा पिता होता. एलासा आसेलाचा पिता होता.

44 And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.

४४आसेलाला सहा पुत्र झाले. त्यांची नावे अज्रीकाम, बोखरु, इश्माएल, शाऱ्या, ओबद्या आणि हानान. ही आसेलाची अपत्ये होती.
