Hosea 3

1 En de HEERE zeide tot mij: Ga wederom henen, bemin een vrouw, die, bemind zijnde van haar vriend, nochtans overspel doet; gelijk de HEERE de kinderen Israels bemint, maar zij zien om, naar andere goden, en beminnen de flessen der druiven.

And he said Yahweh to me again go love a woman [who] is loved of a companion and [who] commits adultery as loves Yahweh [the] people of Israel and they [are] turning to gods other and [are] loving cakes of grapes.

2 En ik kocht ze mij voor vijftien zilverlingen, en een homer gerst, en een halven homer gerst.

And I bought her for myself for fif-teen silver and a homer of barley and a lethech of barley.

3 En ik zeide tot haar: Gij zult vele dagen na mij blijven zitten (gij zult niet hoereren, noch een anderen man geworden), en ik ook na u.

And I said to her days many you will dwell to me not you must prostitute yourself and not you must belong to a man and also I to you.

4 Want de kinderen Israels zullen vele dagen blijven zitten, zonder koning, en zonder vorst, en zonder offer, en zonder opgericht beeld, en zonder efod en terafim.

For - days many they will dwell [the] people of Israel there not [will be] a king and there not [will be] a prince and there not [will be] sacrifice and there not [will be] a pillar and there not [will be] an ephod and teraphim.

5 Daarna zullen zich de kinderen Israels bekeren, en zoeken den HEERE, hun God, en David, hun koning; en zij zullen vrezende komen tot den HEERE en tot Zijn goedheid, in het laatste der dagen.

After they will return [the] people of Israel and they will seek Yahweh God their and David king their and they will be in dread to Yahweh and to goodness his at [the] end of the days.
